England Half-time Subs

Off On
Wilshere Parker
Lampard Barry
Rooney A. Young
Second half subs
Dawson Gary Cahill

Go Cahill, make Bolton fans proud.

Fair enough. I agree Parker is probably better atm (not so much Huddlestone) but I think after 8~ years of mediocrity with Gerrard and Lampard in the middle that the problem may not be as exaggerated as you think and I'd love to see capello show a little more bravery with his team selection. Playing it safe obviously isn't working...it seems to be killing passion/motivation. I'd like to see Rooney dropped and give Carroll/Bent a run...good ol' fashioned big man/predator strike partnership and I'd like to see Parker get some extended time in the middle of the park. I don't feel incredibly strongly about Barton but I empathise with his plight especially when Barry is not only getting regular playtime but he's got the fucking armband? Please, he's genuinelly terrible for both club and country...

the main issue with the england squad is that every manager that has stepped up (and future ones im sure) chooses his team based on the reputations on players.

ive always wondered why every manager that comes up insists on playing both gerrard and lampard (horrific current form) together when they obviously cant play together really well because of their extreme similarities.

rooney is also in horrible form and after the world cup (where he showed that he is an ineffective, at least as a lone striker...), i still dont understand why he is still in the starting 11.

barton and parker are quality players, and they are both in excellent form, which is what matters most. who cares about their past...

Rooney's still in the squad because, while he doesn't score that much, he has still been making things happen and setting up goals for united. He doesn't do that for England, but I guess Capello lives in hope.

Gerrard and Lampard both normally perform very well for their clubs (although neither had stood out that much recently), so I can see why they're picked too.

Roooooooooooooooney! goal of the season. he's originally is from liverpool ;)

2-1 at FT for man utd.

btw yaya toure was very impressive

Liverpool played really poor today except for Suarez (hit the cross bar twice, seriously 5 star performance) and Mereiles (before he got substituted by the worst player on planet earth Ngog)....

blackpool vs. west ham was good though

edit: wigan goal was definitely offside... fucking referees

edit2: and lol newcastle joke transfer kufqi debut today

hehe west brom threw away a 3-0 lead LOL
and balckburn and newcastle sore nothing.. after scoring lots last week
and yaya toure is fat :P

Suárez was awesome again. In the Netherlands he had a lot of bad luck too, continuously hitting the post and crossbar.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

At least Kompany was amazing, and Micah looks like he's on his way to recovering his former talent.

Is anyone else thinking that ancelotti should/will be fired if he doesn't win tomorrow?

Yeh i actually think that Ancelotti sucks, he should have spent his money on better players. Torres is on the down whereas Carrol and Suarez are on the up. Dalgish seems to know what hes doing...

If Ancelotti gets fired Chelsea returns to square 1 once again. What Chelsea desperately need is stability and that will never happen if Ancelotti is sacked. I do agree that the Torres signing is going to be a huge failure but David Luis looks promising.

I hope Dalglish knows what he is doing. It was basically perfect tactics until the Wigan games where there was some weird substitutions, but it seems that Mereiles was half fit (which is why he subbed him) and most players were tired from those useless international friendlies (many took some knocks and played 90 min). Not to mention how unlucky we were and how the Wigan goal was miles off-side. Oh well, you can't win them all... Go KK!

EDIT: Liverpool should make Newcastle their feeder club lol. I want Jose Enrique to come to Liverpool because we need a new LB and this guy is promising. I think he might become a regular in the international team if he comes to Anfield, because the Spain team's only weakness is LB ^^

i wish chelsea would go to another square.. blue square :P
i wouldn't say spending 35 million on andy carrol is knowing what he is doing though..

well it wasn't Liverpool that payed for the 35 million, according to John W Henry.

Liverpool told Chelsea that they would sell Torres but would want enough money to buy Carroll. So yea, Mike Ashley was like: ''i want 35 million'', if he would've said 40 million i think the torres sale would have been 60 million pounds lol

Unfortunately this is probably true
