yeah tom brady winning it is retarded. im pretty sure he did even WORSE than most people expected. The patriots finished 11-5 without him last year and did EVEN WORSE THIS YEAR for fucks sake.

In my opinion, the reason Benson isn't a Comeback player is because he lacked that breakout in his early seasons to set his own bar really high. Yes, he went from bad stats the past couple seasons to great stats this year, but that is not coming back, that is simply his breakout. You have to be dominant first to fall and then come back. Maybe Brady won the Comeback award because he spends so much time taking it up the ass and letting his (BAN ME PLEASE) buddies bust all over him?

First off, Peyton Manning is not "gawd awful" he is the man that will go down as the greatest quarter back ever. Peyton has 10 seasons of 4000+ yards. The next closest player is Dan Marino with 6. Over the last 8 or 9 years, i believe the colts have 12+ wins. In my mind he deserves the MVP not on stats, but because he is the colts. Take Peyton off the Colts, they might not be 500. The Vikings on the other hand, made the playoffs last year without Brett favre, yes they wouldn't be much of threat in the playoffs but they would still be playoff cailber.
You are correct though that Peyton has the better receivers. Wayne is a top 5 reciever in the NFL and Clark a Top 5 TE. Favre does have to make up for this, but he gets alot of help having Adrian Peterson in the backfield. Yeah i know that he played shitty relative to himself at the end of the season, but when teams prepare for the vikings the first thing they think is Stop Adrian Peterson, not don't let Brett Favre beat us. Every team wants it in Brett's because prior to this year, he would make a ton of risks.
The reason that the Colt don't run the ball is because Addai can't. Rumors earlier in the season was that he was going to lose his starting job to Donald Brown, but Joe picked up his game. Addai is their running back because he is a much better threat out of the backfield then running between the tackles.
Either way both Brett and Peyton had excelent seasons,but i would go for peyton. I am sure the fact that i think Favre is a douche who is constantly throwing people under the bus sways my descision but it is what it is. I wouldn't be surprised if either won it.

Yeah the Vikings last year were totally different. Peterson did a LOT better, the Packers were just getting Rodgers going, and the Bears still sucked.

Anyways, I think if the patriots are going to win, they need 3 people to step it up. Julian Edelman (who's style is a lot like Welker despite being a Rookie), Kevin Faulk, and Ben Watson. A lot of people keep saying Moss needs to step it up, but he can't make teams stop doubling him by himself. These 3 guys have to take up the slack in the slot. The Ravens Rush vs the Pats O-line/Backs is going to be a huge part of this game. If the Patriots get a large lead early, its going to put the onus on Flacco to make plays, rather than letting Ray Rice pound the rock.
That said, go Pats!

One thing I just really don't understand is people saying Brett Favre doesn't have the weapons that Manning, Brees, or even Brady have. Are you joking? Have you SEEN Percy Harvin recently? Not to mention Sidney Rice is a demon and Visanthe Shiancoe is easily a top-10 receiving TE. The only reason AP had an off year is because no one expected much from Favre, so defenses stacked the line and made Favre beat them and, well, he did. Favre now is just like Favre in Green Bay: he has great receivers who run after the catch very well. The only difference between Harvin/Rice and Jennings/Driver is that his Vikes WRs don't break tackles, they just run away from everyone.

I am not a colts fan. My favorite football team is the giants who have played with my heart and torn out my soul this season.
For me the term is most valuable player. Peyton is the MVP in the idea that Sorgi wouldn't have gone 500 with the colts while Rosenfelds would have gotten at least 9 wins.

Although Brady has won more Super Bowls than other quarterbacks in recent years, you have to consider that football is a TEAM GAME. Tom Brady has had the luxury of having an absolutely amazing team every single season, while other quarterbacks with more talent than him, such as Drew Brees, have had to deal with poor teammates. I would say that there are several QBs currently in the NFL that have more talent than Tom Brady, including Brees, Peyton Manning, Philip Rivers, and Aaron Rodgers. All of these quarterbacks have immense individual skill, but all of them, besides Manning who has simply proven season after season that he is better than Brady, suffer from any combination of poor pass blocking, lack of talented receivers, and lack of a running game to support them. Tom Brady could have thrown 40 touchdowns with a peg leg in 2007 due to the incredible pass protection he had, but Aaron Rodgers has had an average of about 2 seconds to get rid of the ball this season and yet he still managed to throw 30 TDs. Brees has a bunch of no-name receivers and still outperformed Brady in every way imaginable this year, and Rivers, although outfitted with better targets than Brees or Rodgers, manages to excel despite a completely non-existant running game (this season).

I think answering these three questions CORRECTLY (as in stop sucking tom brady's dick and use some logical arguments) should kinda show that peyton manning is easily a more effecient quarterback than Tom 'superawesomeamazing' Brady

Both Ward and Holmes had 1,000 yards receiving and are Super Bowl MVPs (unlike Branch they aren't one hit wonders. Hell, Brady should have won that MVP).
