so i went to the falcons game today:

- let me start by saying that the personal foul calls today were atrocious. i think there was one play where the defensive lineman literally just sacked matt ryan from his knees and the refs called roughing the passer on him (the fans boo'd this which was pretty damn funny)

- richard sherman taunted the falcons fans as they left the game (at halftime).

- i was actually shocked at how close the game was. then seattle dropped all kinds of swag on our face with the flea flicker and... yeah 33-10 happened.

but yeah i'll be shocked if heads don't roll this offseason, 3 straight blowout losses in a row (and counting!) will not sell a new stadium. clowney can tho :o

We won a game? Against a playoff contender too? Still not sure whether I'm dreaming...

Also lol at winning when our run game is still historically bad and Flacco didn't do much better

actually that's against the rules (thanks, tom brady)

They have Romo. Coaching staff normally doesn't matter when they let him fling the ball liberally. Tried to play ball control early.

The Cowboys suck because for the second straight year the defense has been mauled by injuries.

But yeah i lost all faith on the Boys. The Giants or Eagles are winning the division. It's almost depressing knowing that the Boys will lose the division in the final game of the regular season again.

I knew a team would end up overlooking the Jags. Though it's not as if the Titans have the right to be overlooking anybody themselves

What would the Falcons do with the #1 pick though? They're set at QB, so would they trade down to the Bucs/Jags who're desperate for QBs? Or just pick whoever they want?

Clowney?????

Actually, trade down from the 1st pick to 2nd with the Jags. Just scare them into doing it by taking offers from other teams. Sort of like what the Vikes did to the Browns. Or hell, depending on who the top 3 teams are the first two picks might be QBs.

That'd be pretty smart actually. Not that the Falcons will pick first I don't think, well at least I hope not. Their team is pretty banged up now but when everyone's back from injury (and when they get a rb on their roster that isn't dying or crap) coupled with a high draft choice, I can see a big rebound next year

I came down with an awful cold because of it but damn did I pick the right Steelers game to attend. I know our season is already in the tubes but at least I got to watch them dominate in person!

Chiefs are nearly 10 point underdogs to the Broncos. Broncos will most likely win, but I still can't believe KC's gotten virtually no respect, even from Vegas.

The chiefs had a better chance of beating Denver last year. They're going to get blown out tommorow.

Although i am legitimately concerned about Peyton getting hit, just no moreso than if they were playing any other team at this point. The Panthers are probably the only team i would not like Peyton to face right now. The Panthers are the only team who are clearly better at dominating OLs.

And i know this goes without saying, but it would be the worse fucking catastrophe in the last century if Peyton had to miss any games with the opportunity to break the single season touchdown, passing yards and passing rating records there.

What? The Chiefs have been swinging around +7 to +8.5. No serious book has had them anywhere near +10. There is no need to exaggerate with lines, +7/+8 are clear enough on their own in that it represents over a touchdown of disrespect.

This is the all time ultimate disrespect line, it is honestly fucking amazing. Previous largest line for a team over 5-0 was +5.5, and that team was "only" 6-0. Even trying to greatly broaden everything, just taking all teams 4-0 and up and lines 3.5+, only 3 games with disrespect lines this high exist - Buccaneers against Packers @ 5-0 after Packers won a Super Bowl in a season they went to the Super Bowl again (covered the line), Vikings against Packers @ 4-0 after back to back Super Bowl appearances for the Packers (Vikings won), and Bears @ 4-0 against the Bills somewhere in that 4 Super Bowls straight run (lost and failed to cover).

Those disrespect lines were barely justified, this one is just fucking staggering. While the situation might anecdotally bear out, that is to say the Broncos trash the Chiefs, I still do not think you can controvert the basic records - no 9-0 team deserves to be worse than +5 against any team, not even one putting on an offensive clinic nearly every week.
