We go through this every year. Suddenly expecting the Pro Bowl rosters to be 100% how they should be is kind of silly. I am at least intrigued to see how this new "draft" system is going to work!

These pro bowl rosters are literally cancer.

Lavonte David, literally the best defensive player in football this year, got snubbed. Nick Foles, who will likely finish the year with 30 touchdowns and a 15/1 TD:INT ratio, is snubbed in favor of Cam Newton. Cam Newton is the third-best quarterback in his division. DeAndre Levy from the Lions should have made the roster, and somehow Matthew Stafford was an alternate? Stafford is above average, but shouldn't be mentioned in this discussion.

But where the ever-loving FUCK is Tony Gonzalez?? Tony Gonzalez, in 2013, is the best tight end in football. He was the best tight end in football last year, too. He should have gotten in over Vernon Davis, though Davis is at least a decent choice. But Gonzo not making the Pro Bowl is inexcusable.

I know "lol Pro Bowl", but Lavonte David, Nick Foles, and Tony Gonzalez not making it is a travesty.
Why should Gonzales be in over Davis, Davis has better stats to me than Cameron or Thomas despite less receptions (why the hell Kapernick can't feed him the ball like Smith did, I don't know). Axe one of the other 2 besides Davis and Graham since the roster doesn't appear to matter based on equal NFC/AFC split (look at the RBs, 5/6 NFC).

Foles probably missed out because he wasn't the starter and didn't get as much exposure, though I agree he should be in over Wilson or Newton. I'd say kick off Brady, but I'm biased and Brady's too popular in general, he could have a horrible season and still be an alternate at worst.

The only other QB who had a better season than Brady but didn't get in was Roethlisberger, and that was only moderately so. Brady had a "bad" season by his own standards, but you'd be hard pressed to find another QB who was really more deserving than himself.

Did Rivers make it? If not I'd argue he had a better season then Brady

mayne idgaf what anybody says this jaguars team is badass and theyre a lock for the playoffs next year

You could literally take the last 11 people that posted in this thread and they would do better than the Lions offense without Megatron

Also, is Chase Daniel trying to Matt Flynn his way into a starting role somewhere? Will the Jaguars lead the Chase for Chase? Will they become Fan-iels of Daniel???? Who knows~!

If Andy dalton wins this for the Ravens I will be salty as hell...
*looks at scores*

I can only imagine you're going to have a very stressful afternoon considering the Chiefs are resting Smith, Charles, and the others. Kind of unfair in ways considering the whole intent of the revamp for week 17 was so no one was resting starters, but the Steelers might come up short unfortunately since Chargers will be going all in to make the playoffs.

Oh I've already come to terms with that. I honestly won't be that unhappy if the chargers make it, just as long as it's not Baltimore. Thankfully, flacco decided he would not let dalton out-suck him and just put the game away!

Fuck this. What did Justin Beiber say? never say never

He also said fuck bill clinton so

Even though I'm disappointed, I'm still proud of this Dolphins team, it's pretty remarkable they were even in this position with everything that has happen down there. Oh well, maybe next year will be their year.
