Yeah Patrick Crayton already pretty much said after week 5 that they were probably going to beat the Pats cause their defense apparently was shit.

I think the Pats losing Rosevelt Covin has hurt them more than most people are lead to believe. They've had to switch things around in the LB corps so teams can catch them off guard by running straight at them and Bruschi/Seau aren't really young.

Go Pats, Pats, Pats, Pats, Pats!

They have a winning offense, I wish my high school ran no-huddle football back in the day.

I'm more or less impartial to the Pats; I don't dislike them (and I used to like them their first few years), though I wish they weren't the Mary Sue of the NFL who can't do anything wrong, perfect in the clutch, etc.

I like excellence, but I like excellence that has to struggle against other excellent teams.

Basically, what the Patriots show is that the NFL needs to change; we need to get away from these outdated run-first jumbo package offenses and run 4 WR sets.

And don't say it's just having so much talent on the Pats; other than GB_Packers_FTW, who actually knew the GB recievers before this year (other than Driver)? And wasn't Favre an interception machine before he stopped chucking it downfield and started spreading the ball around.

Faster, quicker, better. Speed the game up, strike quickly, play to win. Stall is dead! long live offense!

Unless you have LT or Adrian Peterson, or another top 5 RB in your backfield, build your offense around the fastest, most athletic, and most physically gifted players on it. Not saying you don't need to run the ball, but you simply cannot take a good RB and a big O-Line and expect to win without the threat of a passing game.

so my schedule for work got changed tomorrow. =(
I was upset cause I'd miss the Packers game but get to see the Pats game.
Nowww...I get to see the Packers game but miss the Pats. =(

Which I want to watch the Packers cause they're my favorite team of all time..but the Steelers Pats game is going to matter a lot more than the already play off bound Packers and the no chance in hell Raiders.

Dude that's rough i would just quit. Screw work the Packers are much more important. I only missed 3 plays this season and it was the Bears game because i was sitting on the jon at halftime and then i got lost in the stadium. The raiders are on a roll though, so hopefully we won't overlook them.

yeah man quit your job watching the PACKERS game is more important

i mean look at gb he only missed 3 plays the WHOLE SEASON because he had to take a dump

<- I would have to admit that Favre was totaly shutdown and you people are nearly always right.

Gosh those fricken Lions had the cowboys beat! Nevertheless the cowboys are just that good and can afford to play like that and continue to be the dominant force in the NFC. And i didnt even get to see the game because when i turned on Fox it was some random paid programming trash. Ryan Grant was amazing, and AP and LT are going to have to move over for RG...but that sounds lame. I certainly found all this YACing between Kitna and newsome comical this week. Sort of reminds me about those GB wideouts that lead the pats in YAC. Well, at least we have them beat there.

yeah..well luckily I didn't quit because the game wasn't even on TV here.
We had Tennessee vs SD (Great game) or Carolina vs Jacksonville.
Damn them being in the Colts division so it came on tv here.

I knew the Steelers had no chance. they're awful.
no team that loses to the jets will beat the Patriots. like I said.
Packers DESTROYED! and that one INT was bull shit. I swear 3/4s of Favres INTs bounce off his receivers.

Did anyone see why AP had 3 yards?

Yeah really, either they bounce off our wide outs or they are at the end of a game on the last play of the game and just a prayer. Bears game comes to mind. Now if only Blackmon could cover as well as he can contribute on special teams we would be so much better. I think we are going to end up with a first round draft pick being a Cornerback or even a safety with the posibilty of converting.

Goddamn I cannot adequately express my disappointment right now.

Offense played "alright" when you look at the stats but...lack of touchdowns. Good fuck the defense blew it for us.

gg Anthony Smith gg

Pittsburgh didn't play aggressive enough on either side for my taste. They weren't getting pressure in the 2nd half, and offensively, they were efficient...but efficient doesn't beat New England.

Obviously if Polamolu isn't there, there is no defense...

Lions still have an outside chance of the playoffs. Just need those darn Vikings to lose >=0

I think Patriots real mission that night was to make Anthony Smith look like a fool, which they really did.

Especially w/ that one play where Brady passed to Moss, Moss dropped it, passed back, and Brady bombed it downfield to Jabar Gaffney who, ironically enough, should've been covered by Anthony Smith in the first place.

Did anyone else see Brady get into Smith's face after the first TD?

I was just like "daaaamn, Brady got balls."

What really pisses me off is that both our starting safeties were out and we had a retard like Anthony Smith in.

And had Smith not be a retard (or our starters were in), MAYBE, perhaps, one or even both of those huge bombs wouldn't have happened. Yes, I'm trying to make excuses, but hey...it's true. :( Take away Smith's comments and mistakes and it *could* have been a 20-14 ballgame. We still very likely would have lost even if Polamalu and Ryan Clark were in but it wouldn't have been such a fucking embarrassment.

As you can tell, I don't like Anthony Smith.

Ok so the Packers and Colts win big, but the Cowboys just easy by. Assuming the Cowboys are over the Packers in all situations, how do you rank them? Im going Pats-boys-packers-colts.

I'm with you.
Indianapolis has almost lost a lot of games...Houston, 2nd time vs Jacksonville.
and I really could see Bigby, Woodson, and Harris getting 3-4 picks on Manning...I mean...The Packers beat the Chargers...back when neither team were as good as they are now. But if the Chargers can beat the Colts I think GB can.

and I want Minnesota to be the last Wild Card.
I mean...Detroit will lose to GB...GB won't play easy cause I'm sure Brett and his team of new guys would all love a 14-2 season.
And not to mention...Green Bay at home is just...secks.
In Lambeau in the playoffs used to be a guaranteed win...Let's see how it is late this year and the playoffs.
I just really want to see a Cowboys vs Packers Championship match.
I'd love it.
and for AFC Championship I want NE vs San Diego...
I'd like to see Super Bowl NE vs GB...but we'll see what happens.

I just want to see the patriots loose, an undefeated team is a failure on the part of the NFL, it means something stopped working. This is the NFL, every team is supposed to have a chance every game, an undefeated team destroys that ideal, it means things like salary cap failed to work. For the good of the NFL the Pats need to loose, and Brady is a jerk.

My hope is for Browns-Packers, winning three road playoff games will be tough, but possible. I'd be content with anyone not-patriots in the superbowl though.

I'd love to see a team go 16-0.
Great part of history.
I'd even love it more to see them win everything up to the Super Bowl and lose to GB.
But what are the chances of all of this?
Pretty good chance of the Pats making it to the Super Bowl and going undefeated...
but unless Romo and Owens break their legs...shit.

As much as I'm "against" the Patriots going 16-0, I'd absolutely love it if their first loss were in the postseason. That'd be great...x)

The difference between the Packers and cowboys is karma tbh. If the Packers had the luck the cowboys had, they would easily be 13-0 and tbh really considering a 16-0 season. I mean you consider how we lost both of our games and you say- wow pretty unlucky. The bears game was more so just rookie mistakes by james jones-like what 2 fumbles taking away scores?, and the fact that i went to the game. The cowboys game involved horrible calls and the Packers were missing 4 pro-bowlers (Favre, Woodson, KGB, Franks), and significant others (Blackmon lol). Infact if you take away the two calls, and assume that on the late Pass interferance the cowboys would not have scored 6, but punted..the score is 30-24. Then the early strip by al Harris (called foward progress lmfao?), which would have not only given us the ball in FG range and not allowed them to get a FG in, but we would also still of had Favre at this point. Now its a 27-24 game. Consider the fact that we are out 4 bowlers and i think this game has just changed alot. Particulary on our front, where we were also missing justin harrel, collin cole, and johnny jolly. That rotation is the strength of our defense. You can tell when they are healthy, i mean we still didn't get a sack agaisnt the Raiders. Our secondary was weak because of the pressure, and no Woodson. Then you look at the cowboys close games. Barely leading in either, and tbh agaisnt sub-par teams in the bills and lions. The pats game was not that close considering what the ravens\eagles did.

I was sooo upset with Jones. omg. since it was a night game I was off work and got to see it...and wow.
My brother also went to the game...He lives in Jacksonville...hahaha.
The Cowboys should be 10-3.
They should have lost to the Bills...rly...5 INTs?
and Detroit should have manned up and beat them.
