so how bout good lil' darren sproles showing what he's got against the lions 8)

i'm really happy with the way the season is unfolding for the chargers, even though we've got great players injured like neal. at least we have good depth!

also lol cromartie

Bump to tell you how incredibly predictable you are.

No excuses for the Pack to have lost to the Bears. blagh blagh blagh don't even start. Either that thumb thing was a real injury or Romo damn well thought it was in his head, because he was missing open receivers all night and the Eagles weren't even really getting much of a pass rush. And five other injured-for-real players down the stretch isn't a good way to head into the playoffs. ;/

Bump to-meh screw it.

Alrite, lets not go into the past, your absolutely right the Packers should not have won that game agaisnt the Bears. Obviously this was the case With dallas on sunday. And agaisnt the bills, and agaisnt the lions. It's just a matter of luck oftentimes, wheter you pull it off or not. However, its about time dallas got a little banged up. Now imagine playing Green Bay with all those injuries, and then throw in a couple of BS calls.

The giants are really blowing it again lol. It's really sad. But the one thing that really disturbed me when i was watching that game was the fact that the fans boo'ed when they entered. Wtfh? shows alot of class especially when you have a pretty damn good football team. Im sure Falcons fans would love to switch with you, man it up and stick to your team.

Not that i really care about the AFC tbh, but i still think the Jags have the best shot at anyone in the playoffs, except the Colts. I really look for the Jags to come back and beat the Colts, and at least have a run at the Pats. I could also see the Vikings doing something similar in the NFC. If the standing stay were they are at atm in the NFC, it very well could be the Vikes and Packers in Lambeu. Now that would be a treat.

BBM, seriously what have a I ever done to you. Just bug off

It sucks though that the Cowboys have to win out just to secure the tiebreaker from GB because I dont see GB losing any games while it seems entirely possible for the Cowboys to do so.

Last I checked Cowboys were the top seed in the NFC, I see no reason to believe they won't win out any more than GB will.

And Mr. Packers man, Dallas has been without a starting WR and their NT all season, it's not like they haven't had to deal with injuries. The good thing is, though, is that they've been out the entire time so they didn't have to make any adjustments mid-season to deal with them.

Come on brother, i don't like to fight with ya. Of course i know that the cowboys are the top dogs right now, thats fine ill roll with it. However i do see reason they are in trouble but ill leave that to the cowboys to decide. And oh yeah the Packers have not had all of their defensive lineman healthy at one point in the season at all this year (2 on IR). 4 pro-bowlers out in 1 game-happened to be a big game mind you? pro bowl tight end out for the last 6 weeks? tons more, no need to elaborate. Don't try to win the injury debate, it just won't happen. Btw, a Starting WR isnt the same as a pro-bowl WR. Terry Glen...lol jeesh which team hasn't he been on and been injured.

Don't try to win the injury debate, it just won't happen.

The Bills have 14 players on IR, the most in the league. One starting middle linebacker, one starting cornerback, one backup cornerback, one starting strong safety, one backup strong safety. On top of that, a DE missed 8 games, another missed 2, a starting LB missed 8, a backup LB missed 4-5, the other starting cornerback missed 2, a backup cornerback missed 3-4.

You don't fucking hear me complaining.

yeah, but the Bills are awful.
I live in Indy and the only thing I heard about is injuries.
It's getting old
'If Marvin Harrison this...Dwight Freeney that"
I hate Colts fans. ugh.

man I forgot to post on smogon for like two weeks what with actually having a busy life for once

Noobster, Darren Sproles was really amazing for Kansas State, and it is sad he will never have a career (barring LT being injured or a trade, and I would never wish for an injury to any player). He is really dynamic, and pretty much all he gets is returns :(

That Cowboys loss sucked, but Brian Westbrook falling down at the 1 yard line on a great run he would have scored on is my favorite play of the season. What an amazing player.

The Bills to me have two problems - being mired with injury, and being mired with a coaching staff who has no idea that it is 2007 and not 1965. They are so scared to take any risks that they will win enough games to not risk embarrassment and get fired, but if potential embarrassment is the cost of pushing for the playoffs, you accept that cost!!

Man I am confused are we allowed to bash GB Packers FTW even though it is congregation I am tired of even trying to skip past his posts

Did everyone see the probowl list?
Stoked 38-yr-old Favre still can make it. =p
More votes than any other player by a long shot too.

Well what did you expect? lol Favre is jsut that good :p. Yeah, its pretty sad that the Jags don't have anywon going, David Garrad and Fred Taylor all day. Speaking of blowing out the competish check this out America: http://www.chunky.com/ClickForCansResults.aspx

@ DM sorry perhaps I did not make it clear to everyone, my bad. For the injury debate i meant between the Packers and the cowboys. I understand how much worse things could be for Green Bay as they have been in the past, and as they are with your Bills for example. Props to the Bills though, they had things rough this year.

No David Garrard I can understand, because Brady and Manning are locks at this point, and Big Ben has been amazing this year. No Fred Taylor is >:OOO

A HUGE what the hell to Bulluck not making it

Go Cowboys 11 players in ^_____^

lol at Kellen Winslow not making it

Um, you live in Indy... and aren't a Colts fan? Unless you grew up somewhere else, there's something terribly wrong there.

Oh, you mean the coaches that call a reverse in a blizzard and a screen pass on 4th and 5 in the red zone to win the game? Yeah, I agree. But our offensive coordinator ALREADY has a college head coach job next year, so good fucking riddance.

Fucking popularity contest. CHAMP BAILEY IS NOT THAT GOOD, END OF STORY. I'm disappointed that Lechler beat out Moorman, but from what I hear he's been having a stellar season and is basically the bright spot for Oakland like Moorman has been for Buffalo for the past few years.

DM, he did not say that he was not a Colts fan, he said that he hates Colts fans!

It is a popularity contest, but that is how it pretty much always is. I think the sport that does the best job of an all-star game has to be the NBA, but that is because there always is an AMAZING top 20 or so, whereas with the NFL things are so much more massive that people are just going to ignore positions like TE and vote for their favorites (barring of course a situation like Witten this year being even more badass than ever), or vote based on reputation, such as with Champ Bailey.

Well I'm sure we've all seen the same reports listing the same players that were snubbed

Fred Taylor Kellen Winslow David Guarrad Mario Williams Derek Anderson Joey Galloway etc etc

It would have been sweet if Mario got a Pro Bowl while Vince+Reggie didn't...

I'm disappointed no Anderson in the pro bowl, or more players on the Cleveand offense for that matter. One player from the FIFTH highest scoring offense in the NFL, and he isn't even a starter. 3rd ranked offense in the AFC, one player, some thing's wrong with that.

Taylor and Winslow should've made it, are Gates/Gonzalez really having a better season than Winslow or just more well known?

I'm glad Al Harris finally made it though, he's one of my favorites.

Kellen Winslow and Tony Gonzales both have 971 yards, just Winslow did it with like 15 less passes! It is definitely the reputation, not results, that determine a lot of things (like Jonathan Odgen still being in lol)

lol CNN just spent five minutes discussing Jessica Simpson being at the Cowboys game, this world is such a joke

of course Sean Taylor is going to be listed as starting, and I would not be surprised if they repeated the first play with only 10 players thing

I'm glad Al Harris finally made it though, he's one of my favorites.

Gates is stilling have a decent season. Gonzalez is similar to Winslow in yards but has done it with more catches.

I'd rather have Woodson over Harris though.

Yeah porygon it's good Harris got some respect, he isn't a big speedy guy and doesn't get alot of picks, but this year its nice to see he got in. I certainly thing that Charles Woodson, Nick Barnett, and Donald Lee should have made it. Charles isn't having the same season as he did last year, but he still is in the top 5 CB's in the NFL WITH Harris. (Note: DM is right Champ Bailey doesnt even make top 10) Nick Barnett is all over the field and has carrer highs in sacks and is on pace for the same in tackles. As for NFC tight ends I really don't understand why Lee isn't going. But overall the Pro-Bowl is a joke tbh, it's pointless.

Romo is arguably having the better season, but Favre is basically a living icon so it's clear why his vote total is through the roof.

I didn't even vote for Manning. :P Brady is a clear lock, but Manning has only been "pretty good" and certainly has competition from Anderson/Garrard/Roflsberger. Manning has done well enough that his name recognition will easily put him in anyway, but objectively speaking I'm not sure if he should be one of those four I mentioned. And no DM, Champ really hasn't been all that great this year. Or maybe he has, I don't follow the Broncos that much, but that Packers game sure sticks out like a sore thumb to me.

It's easy to vote for NBA all-stars because basketball is a far more individual game than football. That's not to say basketball isn't a team sport, but you can't tell me that Kobe Bryant or LeBron James don't single-handedly win games for their teams on occasion. It's especially hard for linemen and defensive players in football, where very few official stats are kept as compared to offensive skill positions. The only thing most people can base their opinion off, unless they've seen a majority of their games that year, is reputation.

I could see Donald Lee being the alternate, but him and Cooley are having a largely similar year so I wouldn't exactly say he was snubbed either. It's pretty much inarguable Witten is the clear #1.
