everyone in calgary is excited to see what sutter does with our pending top 5 draught. Will he draught another d man and bury him in the minors for 5 years? Wil he trade for another sutter mould player? Someone old, past their prime? My money is on kariya.

fuck we are ready to revolt here, the best decision he's made was to bring back tanguay. He had ONE job this year, to acquire a good centre, not get 6 extra second and third liners.

I'm cheering against my team so that maybe sutter will be fired, since this core has no chance of winning. Jus to think, yzerman wanted to come here but didn't because we opted to keep a retard gm and coach.

And while it's not NHL related. I am getting tired of our own hockey team. Been a supporter since I was 11 year old and AGAIN we are in financial trouble.

Sponsors not paying up and now our import players are threatened to be sent home....
(This would leave nothing of our team, the dutch people would not be able to carry the load).

We have the cheapest team in salary in years, we are doing fantastic with a 6-7 game winning streak.

It just never goes to plan.....

Really annoyed by this shit at the moment. Let's move this team to Quebec.

Anyways, Hats off to Nick Lidstrom! You know the other 29 teams are screwed when the first red wing to score a hat trick is a 40 year old Dman.
 
I took my girlfriend to the Sabres game last night for her birthday. Her first game, and they won 3-2 on Stafford's trick. Chara jumped some guys after the game ended, too, full-on throwing no-glove punches at everything that moved. 4 minutes for roughing. Um, lol.
 
I was just at the Flames Vs Toronto game. Man, I don't understand Toronto fans- they cheer very rabidly and infest every Canadian stadium. They beaked off ALL night and there ended up being a fist fight- a toronto fan jumped a calgary fan, BIG SHOCK. I tried my best to console them about their loss...I mean at the very least, they will draft high this year right? HAH. Kessel must be the best bruin of all time.

Why the fuck is Toronto wearing home colors (blue) in Edmonton AND Calgary? Why are they given exemption to basic NHL rules? I guess equality is too much to ask for in the name of sportsmanship.
 
Don't get your panties in a bunch, a lot of teams have been wearing the road whites at home. I imagine it's an homage to the whites, being that they are the rightful home sweaters.
 
The only reason I could think of was because Toronto has a strong affinity for white at home ala some kind of dallas cowboysesque line of thinking.

Yeah see I prefer wearing colors at home, since it's more representative of the team and where it plays to play in its main color.
 
Naw, Canucks fans are just notoriously dickheaded. In fact, Edmonton AND Calgary fans alike view the Canucks as more of a rival because we hate their fans so much which is different because before we didn't even care about the Canucks and hated each other.
 
Maybe you're both just jealous that your teams are terrible(though at least Edmontom is getting better rather than getting worse) and the Canucks are at least perennially in the playoffs

Because I'm pretty sure the rest of the hockey world finds the green men to be hilarious
 
Anyone interested in a small Belarusian? He had a good couple of years before he went to the KHL, has the potential to be a good pure? goal scorer, can be lazy at time and screw the game up for you but the heck, he's a red wing so that overrides all his negatives (which currently outweigh his positives right now.). We'll even give him up for free! What do you say?
