Yes we are discussing this post 8 game win streak because you can't talk shit about a team in the middle of a huge win streak. Of course once they lose and have only won 8 out of the past 9 games, it's open season lol.
Except we never
started discussing this until after Chicago lost... We weren't even talking about this mid streak. I wasn't thinking about targeting the Hawks until last night (the first time i got on a computer since the last post, so i wasn't thinking about the debate or how i could target Chicago without getting burned because of their streak, nor was i intending to target Chicago to reiterate), and you happened to go on "explaining how Chicago will/can catch up. I happened to notice Chicago lost that to the Panthers and kind of laughed at that claim. The mighty blackhawk's winning streak snapped by a lowly Panthers squad stripped bare of most of its talent. Of course, I am open to the possibility of Chicago winning 8 straight again, but the rest of the Hawk's Schedule testifies to something else that might happen (cooling off and settling in fourth? who knows. I can't tell.) Let the record show that this debate that you started didn't take place until March 7, between the date of Chi's last win and their current loss to the lowly Panthers. Not midstreak.
are you going to try and tell me that Crawford, who was 8-0-0 in his past 8 games, giving up 3 first period goals, and then having Vokoun stop every shot in a 3rd period that was completely and utterly dominated by the hawks not at the very least a little bit of fluke? I mean honestly.
It's called Hockey, anything can happen. Just because a Goaltender is hot one night or multiple nights doesn't guarantee he will still be steady the next night. The rule applies for every pro sport. Nothing is guaranteed to happen. That's why when i posted my estimated final Eastern Conference Standings i made sure to say that everything could change if trends change. It's entirely possible. Apparently you haven't learned this rule.
Wings have been inconsistent for a while, having them drop a few straight games is definitely not out of the question,
3 losses in a row does not constitute inconsistency. Or are you willing to say that the Hawks are inconsistent as well?
and then it's likely that 3-4 teams are within 2-3 points of knocking the wings down to a low seed, possibly even to the point of missing the playoffs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hfYJsQAhl0 lol wat? you just jumped down the ladder of credibility for suggesting the very slight probability that a team that has made it to the playoffs for 19 straight seasons, that has been the model NHL hockey team during that span, that has been in the top two in the western conference for all of the season, that has dropped 4 straight one goal games (The San Jose game was a one goal-ish game, it only looks worse because of the effort of a single individual and not the whole team) might fall out of playoff contention? If this is a joke, you succeeded at making me laugh. That's the most retarded thing i have read in a long time.
The Wings recently have not been anywhere close to the force that they were at the beginning of this season.
There's a reason for that... Just try and imagine what it's like losing Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Dave Bolland, Marty Turco (Yes, i am fully aware that he is the backup) and a host of other supporting cast for a month or so then have them all come back at the same time. Maybe you'll understand why the Wings are still getting their legs back together.
I worded my post in a way that anyone could understand, yet you still had a problem with it. Although judging by the rest of your post I shouldn't be all that surprised.

The hawks have 3 games remaining against the wings so there's 6 points right there, not to mention that the hawks have already taken 2 out of 3 and are playing far and away their best hockey of the season right now.
How do you know anyone would understand? Did you interview them? How do you suggest it is possible to understand completely what you want me to understand that it's "A posibility" without evening using the word while writing your post in a confident style by saying A). Chicago is six points out of 1st in the central, B). that the Hawks have taken 2 of 3 games against the wings, and C). mentioning they are playing their best hockey of the season. All this is stated without mentioning the word "possible" once. This can open your statement up to interpretation. If you aren't specific enough with your posts, they'll get torn to shreds.
