Phoenix+Golden State= Playground basketball.

Denver had some defense.

I actually think that Denver could do more to New Orleans in the 1st round than Golden State could. J-Rich is gone, so no hopes of an upset.

How is this deja vu at all? Golden State had a far harder time making into the playoffs last year and had already been entirely dismissed by anyone. They had to go what 9-0 at the end? Golden State going 3-0 is not comparable to however much they had to do last year. This year they are going to be the highest winning team to ever make the playoffs, but still a team that underachieved its talent.

You mean, "miss the playoffs," right?

I actually think Golden State is not going to be much more than a lower seed playoff team with the way the team is atm. Sure they can score a ton, but giving up nearly as much points is pretty bad.

I still dream of the Warriors making a deal for Artest back during the trade deadline. Artest would give them a little more defense. As the guy can easily guard 4 positions for them. And I'd love to see an Artest-Jackson reunion.

I'll always think of Golden State as a street court team.

I've always been a fan of Baron Davis, I hope they get a chance in the playoffs again. They're fun to watch. (So are Celtics, Suns, and Hornets.)

i would like to talk about the rookie of the year prize. my choose: hoford please, so dominican republic can gain some confidence there. durant is just offensive, hoford is a support player who still has time for 10-10 and sometimes 15-15, helping his team to go to the playoffs, something that durant isnt doing. what do you think about that?

Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck

Th Suns lost...

Golden State remaining games:
vs. LA Clippers
@ Phoenix
vs. Seattle

Denver remaining games:
@ Utah
vs. Houston
vs. Memphis

The only difficult game for the Warriors is the Phoenix one. Denver has a difficult schedule with both Utah and Houston (and those two games are back-to-back), but should win the Memphis game. It will be a very entertaining weekend!

It's deja vu cause they're probably going to have to go down to the final game to decide whether they're in or not.

Although they won't have a dumbfuck Dallas team to face in r1 this time around.

Also it's easy for Horford to make playoffs rather than Durant. Horford has a better supporting cast, Bibby, Josh Smith, Childress, Marvin Williams, and Durant has who...Donyell Marshall? Not to mention the whole "Hawks are in the East" thing. Plus, recent history shows they don't give a fuck about playoffs. Amare won it over Yao. Lebron won it over Carmelo. Okafor won it over Gordon and Dwight.

Lakers won, Suns lost. I was hoping it'd be the other way around so they would be tied, but I'm still happy since Spurs will most likely play SA in the playoffs

Atlanta's making it to the playoffs but will just get swept 4-0 by the Celts. 4 straight blowout games for the Celts in the 1st round.

Here's to the Hawks pulling an even bigger upset than GS last season.

Amen. It would be the biggest upset of history.

Bibby=playoff hax. Better than Rondo
Joe Johnson is just as good as Ray Allen

Al Horford could match up with Perkins

Josh Smith is basically a younger KG. Look at his stats. He's just lazy as shit. No intensity.

Um, Marvin Williams on Paul Pierce :(.
PP is gonna rape.

lol at all the above posts trying to make ATL sound better

for anybody who watched the game last night, you should be scared out of your mind last night of facing the celts in the first round, here ill explain:

The entire 4th quarter our lineup was
Sam Cassell
Tony Allen
James Posey
Glen Davis
PJ Brown

and ATL played their starters for most of the 4th quarter, subbing in with 7-8 min left, or playing the whole quarter, so for the majority of their lineup for the 4th quarter was their starting 5.

The score was tied at the beginning of the 4th quarter, ATL went on a small run, but then celts did like a 10-0 run with their BENCH. Our bench shut down the starters for a very long time, and sam cassell was getting hot on the other end. So our bench outplayed the ATL starters, therefor the statement i said in the above post.

Whats even scarier, two of our top 3 bench players were not in that lineup. Our best bench player is Leon Powe, then Eddie House & James Posey are the other nice bench players. Glen davis will barely see the court come the playoffs, and sam/PJ will be situational players to come in if we want to slow the game down or something like that. Tony Allen im not sure about, cause he's so inconsistent.

also to unceunce, its hard to compare player to player with the celtics, mostly because the biggest strength of our team is "team defense" which is something ATL doesnt even have close to boston's. Sure the individual matchups are decent, but it wont be a game of individual matchups at all when you face boston.

If i was an ATL fan, i'd be expecting a sweep of blowouts coming up.

Dallas losing to Seattle does not really matter in terms of seeding, right? We already clinched 7th based on tiebreakers, I thought.

Now Carmelo Anthony getting arrested could matter a lot if the Nuggets need to win their last game.

Yeah, the mavs still have 7th, playing San Antonio first round.

Funny, this is just like two years ago, iirc.

edit: lol, no fucking chance in hell that the hawks are getting past the celtics.
