Thanks for a good tournament guys. I originally planned on making a Sunny Day team once I was giving an Exeggutor, though this never worked out in trial battles. Then I decided to try and get a Togekiss sweep going by spreading paralysis, while having a good lead and lots of revenge killers. Didn't work out that way, but the team still did admireably with a surprise star. Anyway, here is the team:

I knew I needed to win 3-0 and was down 4-3 at that point, so I was sweating. Good parahax there too. As I said earlier, the main idea of the team was to set up a sweep for Togekiss flinch-hax with Celebi spreading paralysis, though this never happened.

AKA, the MVP. He destroyed entire teams with his massive attack stat and went first every single turn in the tournament, outside of when someone's scarfed Smeargle outsped and KO'd with extremespeed. There is a lot of overlap with Infernape, but it really couldn't have turned out better.

Meant to be my primary revenge killer, he really didn't do much in the tournament. I think he was really useful in one battle and I want to say it was against Paradox, but I'm not sure. He was also this team's only solid counter to Swellow, which is what Zdrup destroyed me with.

Dex I'll get to you asap, got a crapload of exams and assignments due. Zdrup, if there are no warstories then no one gets MEP. Same goes if they all suck. And you need to take care of things with Kestral.
Don't worry with Kestral. I need to see the war storys first and then I'll talk to her. If there are no war storys I'll give the prize to Dexington.
And the prize is: a "real" version of your MVP!!! Flawless, with the same EVs and attacks, of course! So you pretty much made my work easier by saying it was hitmonlee. But only if no one posts a war story (because if someone posts I'll give the prize to the person whose pokemon was that battle's MVP)!

Completely. Although I was surprised to learn that Rock does not resist Bug. I intended for him to sweep Bugsy at level 12 with Stone Edge but he got destroyed by U-Turn.

I might post my match with Vratix. I remember it being great, although it was my first win so that's not really surprising. I'll have to go back and check. I'll also post my team soon.
If anyone would like to, I wanted to try something. Battling with each other's Scramble teams. Restrictions for Pokemon and movepools would still apply unless they're just too hard (MEPs or any Metapod). VM me if you're curious, since I'm going to bed now.
I thought about something like that, but there is so much variation in difficulty in Scramble challenges that it would be meaningless. I think the way zdrup did it was the best way, maybe with a slight modification or two. I've though about hosting another one where people would give out two moves each to six other people, or something. Also, things designed for in-game inevitably do badly in a competitive arena.

I was going through my Platinum Scramble a while ago (see a few pages back) and I noticed something: I was bored. Obviously we had gone through a rough patch, and my challenge was growing tiresome. And so, I decided I would run a new plea to the group to give the HARDEST SCRAMBLE CHALLENGE EVER. I finish my exams in two days, and I wil have endless free time in which to do this.
However, for such a challenge, I will obviously need some ground rules:
-Drudgery is banned completely. Grinding, by contrast, is okay. The difference is that "KO 100 Pokemon in each Route before you move on with your starter" is drudgery, as compared to "solo the Champion with a Monferno", which will require grinding. I will be the judge on the difference.
-Challenges must be possible. This means I will not solo the Ground E4 member with a MEP. Again, I will be the judge.
-I will be playing on Pokemon Platinum, and will finish after defeating the League the second time. I would like to be able to get most Pokemon before the first, however, although I would be willing to look at getting a few afterwards. Just think though, that the longer I have your Pokemon, the longer I can suffer.
-I reserve the right to change these rules. TA1 and others are probably more inventive than I am, so even though I think I covered averything, I probably missed some tiny point.
-I will probably give updates on this reasonably often, just because of the hilarity which wil probably ensue. I will definitely give an update on the final battle with Cynthia.
