Challenge The Scramble Challange

Fine. Someone said the Kangaskhan was too mean, so I'm giving you something else.

Take a Nidoran-F. It may evolve into Nidorina whenever it wants, but may not evolve into Nidoqueen. It may be taught two or fewer TMs.

Auramaster take a paras named Sandman. It must learn spore. As soon as you learn spore, every time paras is sent out it must immediately use spore. If at the end of first turn where you select spore the opponent is not asleep for any reason (full parlysis, flinched, opponent's insomnia, paras koed before it can attack, opponents berry, etc) you must release paras and beat the game with the remaining 5 pokemon. Note that this "must sleep" condition only applies on the turn where paras comes out. After that first spore there are no restrictions on future spores unless you switch out again/start a new battle. This could be really easy or really hard.

Edit, since you say you require a sleeper, I'll be nice and change it. Same as above, except replace "must release it" with "must delete every move besides spore and as soon as it gets a new move it may not be used until that is deleted as well". There you go, you still have a sleeper.

Warning: catching M' or Missingno. can corrupt your save data.

Unwarning, catching Missingno or 'M will NOT corrupt your save data, unless you put a level 0 Missingno in your PC (which I'm sure you won't even get), though it will mess up your Hall of Fame record (mine says I have a Mew XD). I've got one in Pokemon Red, and the game works fine. Many others have caught and trained Missingno without their game being corrupted; Bulbapedia also says it's harmless.

Auramaster: I condemn you to an Electric attacks only Pachirisu! Mwahahahahahahahaha!

No, seriously, get yourself a Drifblim. It must solo Sabrina.

Auramaster, you get a Happiny. It can only evolve to Chansey if it can solo a gym leader (any gym leader, even a Johto rematch). It can only evolve to Blissey if it solos Lance's Garchomp in the Elite Four rematch, which you must do before fighting Red.

If for some reason you refuse this challenge, I condemn you to a Koffing that must be the lowest level Pokemon in your party at all times, must always know Selfdestruct AND Explosion, and cannot evolve.

auramaster: Use a Scizor as your False Swiper. Each time a Fire-type Pokemon appears, if Scizor isn't in the front of your party, you must switch it in immediately. If it's a Trainer battle, if you switch in Scizor, then switch out to another Pokemon to KO the opposing Fire-type and the trainer sends out another Fire-type, you must switch Scizor back in again. Oh, and you may only use a grand total of ten Revives/ Max Revives/Revival Herbs on that Scizor EVER.

Well i beat my Scramble! a week ago. but i kept forgetting to post what i did here. so here it is, the team that beat the E4 and the summary's of the battles.

I give you Larvitar. It must be a traded Pokemon from a different game (no egg hatching for you). It must solo either Wake or Maylene while disobedient to evolve to Pupitar! named him sprocket. HE'S SHINY!!!!
take a Beldum called Steel Easy. Make sure it is an AgiliTang by the E4. Also, you must use it to solo at least one Gyarados, at any time during the course of the game.
catch a swablu and name it kamikaze. It may not evolve untill it koes one Candice's pokemon and itself with Perish song (meaning you must stay in and let it ko you and your opponent may not ko you before the turns are up or it doesnt count). It may not learn any tm or hm moves until it evolves. Optional: don't teach it sing and perish song at the same time
take a Bonsly (let me know if this is too rare to hunt for) It can evolve once it wastes a pokemon with a super effective move it obtains through mimic. It must keep Mimic forever. named him Rocky, who is my starter
A Skorupi named "Threadshot." All of its attacking moves must be the same type attack. (either all physical or all special)
Catch a Blue Shellos, and give it whatever nickname you wish to give it. It is forbidden from using Recover, or any HM moves that you teach it, in battle. named him flubber.

Vs. Aaron

Sprocket was DDing while Aaron's yanmega was spamming doubleteam while gaining speed boosts. after both Sprocket and Yanmega get to + 6, he suddenly U-turns (lolwut) to Scizor, who gets killed by a rockslide. everyone dies to the might of Sprocket's Rockslides/EQs :D

Vs. Bertha

Rocky woodhammered Whiscash, and a choice scarfed Threadshot ice fanged Gliscor for the KO. Flubber then Muddy Water'd everything. cake walk.

Vs. Flint

Awesome sauce battle :D slapped a choice scarf onto flubber, and went into battle vs Houndoom. gave it an X speed, followed by an X special, then healed it up to full with a hyperpotion. spammed Muddy water on everything. but Magmortar, somehow manages to survive the +1 STABed mega flood attack, but then starts to "gather sunlight" XD. gotta love the E4 AI.

Vs. Lucian.

Scarf Threadshot came into play again, crunching the French pedoman before he could set up screens. Kamikaze then sung to sleep the Bronzong switch in, and flamethrowered him until he was one roasted piece of metal. Threadshot KOed everything that remained with crunches.

Vs. Cynthia

And so it began. i used my one and only X sp. Def on Sprocket, since without it, Spiritomb was dealing over 50% to Sprocket with shadowball/Darkpulse. and began to accumulate DDs as i prayed for no crits. and then in a truly Battle Frontier like way, as soon as i got 6 DDs spiritomb CRITS WITH A DARKPULSE (thank god i saved before i battled her). and this happend 6 times more after D:.

somehow someway i finally get to +6 without crits, and then proceed to sweep. OHKOed Spiritomb, Lucario, and Milotic, before the juggernaut that is Garchomp. i EQ, and garchomp SURVIVES, in the red (and this is at +6 attack, with STAB on EQ. how the hell do you survive that.) i get raped by the ensueing EQ. Scarf Threadshot comes in to revenge with ice fang, and SHE (sry A1, i caught a female Skorupi in the great marsh :/) gets OUTSPED, and ohkoed by EQ.

then comes the secret weapon, Shuca Rocky, who was used just in case whiscash outsped him and used EQ. it never happened, and i luckily forgot to take the berry off him. he barely survives and manages to KO with woodhammer. then comes roserade, who is met by Kamikaze. She cleans up with flamethrower, then dragon pulses Togekiss to death :D. goddamn you garchomp. stopping an almost flawless sweep.

Current Team: (note* Tyranitar and Metagross was a pupitar and a metang until i beat the E4)

185.png

Rocky The Sudowoodo ♂ @nothing
lvl 55 Serious Rock Head
~Rock Slide
~Mimic
~Wood Hammer
~Double Edge
awesome poke. i now love sudowoodos cause of this scramble :D. even though Sprocket probably outclassed him in every way under the sun, i liked to use him :P my fav poke for the scramble.

248.png

Sprocket the SHINY Tyranitar ♂ @Soft Sand
lvl 56 Careful Shed Skin
~Crunch
~Earthquake
~Rock Slide
~Dragon Dance
should've named him SWEEP, since thats all he did :D terrifying poke to face, and in celebration of beating the scramble i evolved him into a TTar. he looks that more badass now :) one of the most powerful pokes of my team, and a member who earned his stripes time and time again. the one thing that kept him from being MVP of the scramble was that, if he couldnt set up, he couldnt really do much against faster opponents since he would get KOed often. (rock/ground has a buttload of weaknesses, and having miserable defenses didnt help either :/)

376.png

Steel Easy the Metagross @Iron Plate
lvl 52 Quirky Clear Body
~EarthQuake
~Meteor MASH!
~Agility
~Thunder Punch
as a set up sweeper, he lacked the massive attack that Metagross has, and couldnt make up for it by boosting like Sprocket could. but without him, i wouldnt have even made it past the early stages of the game (damn gardenia), so i owe him for that :P also evolved in celebration :D

Spr_4p_423E.png

Flubber the Shellos ♀ @Mystic Water
lvl 52 Mild, Storm Drain
~Ice Beam
~Mudbomb
~Muddy Water
~Hidden Power (Grass)
she was truly a underapreciated poke, almost soloing two E4 members by herself. as my only water type, she had to be relied on for checking alot of different threats, and pulled through against each one. definitely one of the better members of the team.

452.png

Threadshot the Drapion ♀ @ choice scarf
lvl 53 Adamant, Battle Armor
~Crunch
~Bug Bite
~Ice Fang
~Poison Fang
MVP. she (lol its so funny to call threadshot a she {sry A1}) pulled me out of so many damned situations that its not even funny. with argueably the best anti hax ability in the game (besides maybe inner focus for everyone's favorite legendary, haxrachi), and the bulk to take on nearly anything, she truly was a fearsome competitor. she didnt really do much besides take out lucian in the E4, but throughout victory road and after the harsh challenges of trying to level her up, she was well worth the trouble.

334.png

Kamikaze the Altaria ♀ @Draco Plate
lvl 54 Quirky, Natural Cure
~Sing
~Dragon Pulse
~Roost
~Flamethrower
IMO she wasnt that great of an attacker. sure she pretty much had perfect coverage, but didnt have the amazing attack stats as the other dragons. still, she was a pretty damn good steel killer, and a very good support poke. with enough bulk to outlast most things, + sing, she did pretty well in victory road and against the steel wall known as bronzong.

so i guess i'm done with scramble challenges for the most part. now i'm gonna do a mono-normal run of HG...

I can start my Crystal Scramble

The team
Doomvending's Metronome
>> Tauros
Moves:
Earthquake
Toxic
Double Team
Thunderbolt (By Tutor)

Vratix said:
If you go with Crystal (and it sounds like fun) Catch a Miltank. Name it Chicken. It must know Bide and use it to take out one member of each of the E4s team (but not Lance).

Auramaster said:
@Hobbers, take an Abra named Psychikos. It can only know two attacking moves, neither of which can be Psychic or Psybeam, and must use its two non-attacking moves against a trainer at least once between each gym.

Texas Cloverleaf said:
Hobbers, take a Quagsire that cannot learn Water, Ground or Ice type moves.

Eradd said:
Take a cyndaquil. It must always carry smokescreen. It must defeat one of each Gym leader's pokemon. It must not be the highest leveled Pokemon, but cannot be the lowest either. During the Champion battle, it must get Charizard down to a -6 Accuracy, before it starts attacking. Typhlosion must be below level 50. It must only use fire attacks against that Charizard to prove its supremacy over it

Sprocket said:
Hobbers, take Bill's Eevee. Evolve it to Jolteon, and it must solo Pryce's Piloswine. It must be your lowest level Pokemon at the time you fight Pryce (once you defeat Pryce this restriction is lifted).

Man, I like this. But needed to release Togepi

Heh, nice Drapion, Paradox. I couldn't care less about it's gender, it's not like it was named after me, just look at my sig.

Although, i guess now i'll have to change my sig to read "Only poisonous females are called Threadshot, so don't call me that!". lol

@Vratix: Hmm, interesting. Hope i meet this guy soon, seems like a cool guy to hang around with. lol

Darkumano: You get a Gastly, catch it in Sprout Tower. It must evolve to Haunter asap. Also, it may only have moves that cause damage (that means no confuse ray, hypnosis, etc.) until you beat Blackthorn Gym.

Soul Silver Challenge

Can only trade to evolve pokes

No two of the same type Pokes

Team:

1-
Gastly, catch it in Sprout Tower. It must evolve to Haunter asap. Also, it may only have moves that cause damage (that means no confuse ray, hypnosis, etc.) until you beat Blackthorn Gym.

@Darkumano I'll give you your starter: Take a Chikorita, nickname it iPlant. It must solo Falkner's Pidgeotto. It must know both Light Screen and Reflect to evolve into Bayleef. To evolve into Meganium, it must ko 5 Fire pokemon that are in their final form with SolarBeam.
Have fun

Update on my Scramble:

ZephyrBadge: Check
HiveBadge: Check

Current team:
Quilava
Lvl 25
Ember
Leer
Smokescreen
Quick Attack

Question to Eradd: Do I have to evolve Quilava? Because Typhlosion can't go higher than lvl. 50

@darkumano: Totodile (female) named Glycerine. She may not evolve into Croconaw until She knows Sword's Dance. She must reach +6 attack and sweep Janine to evolve into Feraligatr. Also, she must reach +6 attack against one member of the E4 and Lance.

-edit- nevermind
fucker beat me.

Instead, bring a Ledyba (male) named Knightro. To evolve into Ledian it must know the moves: U-turn, Substitute, and Focus Punch. These moves may not be deleted.

Can't take a totodile allredy have a chikorita and can only trade to evolve

Take an abra named "Houdini". It may not be trade evolved into alakazam until you reach the elite 4. It may only be trade evolved then if it has never been koed. It must solo johto gym leader of your choosing. It may never learn psychic.

UPDATE: Got Manly the Chikorita and Danielle the Spinarak. These two are my team until I beat Bugsy, so I'm going to have to grind like hell for Falkner.

Darkumano, take the Togepi that Elm gives you. In order to evolve Togepi must learn and keep AncientPower and activate AncientPower's stat boosts against either a Gym Leader or Rocket Executive. If you get unlucky and aren't able to, Togepi may evolve into Togetic only DURING a run of the Elite Four. (that is, only as a result of a battle against an Elite Four member). If you're going any farther than that in the story, evolution to Togekiss is unrestricted.

Rofl. Cloverleaf was (literally) asking for it. Dammit, I've got a good challenge in my head, and no one needs a challenge. Anyway, thanks for the answer.
Laughed my ass off when I read this. I'm at Celadon in my challenge currently. Lots of grinding has ensued.

darkmuano: take a Quagsire that cannot learn Earthquake, Surf, or Ice Beam.
