Challenge The Scramble Challange

Status
Not open for further replies.
Sprocket, take a Ralts and name it Crossdresser. It must be male. It must know Growl his whole life and can only get rid of it if he evolves into a Gardevoir or gets it down to 0 PP.

COKTAL, in ruby, take a solrock and name it Sunshine. It must know Sunny Day as soon as you have access to the TM.

In Leaf Green, take a Jigglypuff and name it Madonna. It must know Sing or Doubleslap for the entirety of its life. It can be either gender, but it must be the first one you find in your journey. If you see a wild one and fail at catching it, you must stay in the same patch of grass and rotate until you find another. You must repeat this process until you have one.

Sorry Auramaster, Dexington beat you to it with Mudkip. And Smith, the team filled up before you posted, sorry :(

Emerald Scramble team is set. I'll go with the Wynaut.

1. (Paradox808) Seedot. Must evolve Nuzleaf inside of the mossdeep space center DURING the magma invasion.
2. (Zacchaeus) Nincada. Before it evolves, it must learn Metal Claw and 2 TM moves. It can never forget those 3 moves. It can never have 2 or more moves of the same type. Must pick between using Shedinja or Ninjask, the other can never be used.
3. (COKTAL) Wynaut, from the egg the old man gives you from the hot spring. It can evolve only after it solos ANY gym leader's pokemon. It must also keep Destiny Bond as one of it's moves.
4. (Hydrattler) Bagon, nickname Banned. Cannot evolve to Salamence (Shelgon is fine)
5. (Chateau) Staryu, nickname Lt. Surge, fished from Lilycove City. Teach it Thunderbolt. Only STAB move it can use in battle is Bubblebeam.
6. (Dexington) Mudkip, nickname MemeSuck. It must learn and keep both Defense Curl and Rollout via Move Tutor.

@Sprocket: I figured you'd try it lol. Good luck with it! And look at it this way, you get to use an Uber on your playthrough lol.
Still have a few more spots that need to be filled for both games. Here's what I've got thus far:
-Charmander "BurgerKing":It must solo Brock without using a STAB move to evolve to Charmeleon.
-Mankey "Chopless": Can only evolve by 1hko'ing 27 pokemon using low kick. Can't learn cross chop.
-Jolteon "Umbreon": Evolve it into Jolteon ASAP. It can only use moves Espeon can have at that level, with the exception of one TM.
-Snrolax "Bouy": It must know Surf and Earthquake and it must solo 2 of Blaine's Pokemon.
-Tentalcool "DrOctopus": It must know one level up move, one TM, one HM, and one tutor move, or it can't attack.
-Jigglypuff "Madonna": It must know Sing or Doubleslap for the entirety of its life. It can be either gender, but it must be the first one you find in your journey. If you see a wild one and fail at catching it, you must stay in the same patch of grass and rotate until you find another. You must repeat this process until you have one.
-Magicarp "F(l)ailFish": If male must learn flail before evolving and keep it. If female evolve at Lv21 and only 1 stab move. Name the male FlailFish or the female FailFish. Name can change after evolving.
-Anorith "Scyther": It must solo one trainer with at least 3 Pokemon with Fury Cutter only to evolve. After that, it must keep Fury Cutter.
-Whismur "RAWR!!!": it must use a sound-based move every time it's sent out for a battle. If that move runs out of PP, it cannot attack.
-Solrock "Sunshine": It must know Sunny Day as soon as you have access to the TM.
-Plusle "Jiggawatt": It cannot learn Special moves, only Physical moves.
-Combusken "MrChicken/MamaHen": No restrictions except that it may never evolve into Blaziken, and it must know Overheat.

Also, here's an update for my Platinum Scramble challenge:
When I last left off I had defeated Maylean (sp? lol). I headed down to Pastoria City and grinded Shaqueefah like crazy (to around 35 or so). Then I went in and took on the gym. Luckily, Shaqueefah had HP Grass, but after one hit on Quagsire I figured it can't be higher than base 40 :/ Either way, it survived the battle and soloed 1 pokemon. Also, Dry Skin Croagunk >>>>> Wake's Gyrados. I can now surf, so I go and do the Team Galactic bomb side quest, head to Celestic Town and get surf.

I head over to Canalave City, defeat my rival (although he nearly had me beat at one point). Took on the gym, and Shaqueefah soloed his MAGNETON thanks to Mud Bomb (thanks to the Wancan berry lol). So it can now evolve, and does following the battle. Go through the whole side quest with helping the pixies and make it to Snowpoint City. I catch Sniffles, and it's time to go solo a gym >.> Wasn't too bad since I got a Swords Dance and Brick Break TM for it. +4 Brick Break owned her. Glad I knew she was carrying Lass and kept Beat Up. So 4 soloed means it can get level up moves, woot!

Back in Veilstone I took down Galactic yet again and released the Pixies. I got bored after this point, so I went and started abusing hacked wonder cards lol, but I'll continue here tomorrow (once I get a foresight, false swipe, spore, *filler smeargle so I can abuse Giratina).

EDIT: Taken Sprocket's challenge for Ruby. Just need the starter and both teams are set :) Will start this on Monday when I get bored in my computer class lol. ROMs > School.

@COKTAL, I already gave you a Pokemon for LeafGreen, so you may decline this Ruby challenge if you wish.

Take an Abra. It cannot evolve to Kadabra until you teach it four TM moves. It must keep three of those TM moves after evolving. It can never learn the move Psychic. Nickname it Alakazam.

If you don't mind that I already gave you a LeafGreen challenge, COKTAL, here's your starter for Ruby-

A Torchic named Mr.Chicken. No restrictions except that it may never evolve into Blaziken, and it must know Overheat.

Edit: If it's female name it MamaHen.

@Sprocket: I stated no pokemon that needed to be traded in order to evolve, so can you choose something else? And added Chateau's Torchic in. So just need yours, then I'll be ready to start 4th period on Monday :)

Abra doesn't need to be traded to evolve to Kadabra! But if you insist...

Take a Plusle. It cannot learn Special moves, only Physical moves. Name in Jiggawatt.

I said I was gonna edit an update of my Emerald Scramble in the last post, but I didn't expect 7 other people to post after me, and I need some help. Before I explain my bad situation, the team as of the gym battle with Norman.

Combusken - Blazer
Level 27
-Double Kick
-Ember
-Peck
-Growl

Restriction: Can only use Ember or Double Kick until it criticals a gym leader/trainer's Pokemon.

Comments: Critical hit on the second trainer in Roxanne's gym :P It's been my ace in the sleeve with STAB Double Kick and twice as much power then any other Pokemon for a while. My other Pokemon are catching up, but still probably my best overall.

Ralts - IWantWish!
Level 26
-Psychic
-Secret Power
-Calm Mind
-Teleport

Restriction: Cannot evolve to Kirlia until the Fortree gym, cannot evolve to Gardevoir until after Mossdeep.

Comments: Psychic at level 26 :) It's been ok for most of the journey, 3HKOing most Pokemon (which is good since my team's severely underleveled), but finally with Psychic became far more powerful. Still, it has terrible defenses, poor resistences, and low Speed. Should be much better once it evolves.

Shroomish - SubMush
Level 26
-Mega Drain
-Secret Power
-Stun Spore
-Leech Seed

Restrictions: Must know Stun Spore and Spore, cannot evolve unless it solos Brawly's Makuhita and Wattson's Magnemite (he only had a Magneton, soloed it instead).

Comments: Pretty good for the most part, soloed both Pokemon it had to, thanks to me skipping the two gyms as long as possible. As expected, it's not getting stronger though since it can't evolve until learning Spore at level 54 :( And doesn't get anything better then Mega Drain. Will get worse before it gets better, but the insane amount of Water types combined with Exp. Share should help.

Ninjask - Naruto
Level 26
-Dig
-False Swipe
-Secret Power
-Leech Life

Restrictions: Must know False Swipe, Dig, Hyper Beam (Don't have the TM), and a move of my choice besides Swords Dance.

Comments: UGH!!! Nincada took FOREVER to grow just one level, and it was extremely weak with low Attack and no move better then Scratch. It's much better after evolving, but still not that strong.

Manectric - Light Lion
Level 27
-Spark
-Secret Power
-Flash
-Thunder Waver

Restriction: Must know one level move from Electrike, one level up move from Manectric, one TM, and one HM.

Comments: Weak for a while as it didn't get anything better then Thief. However, once getting Spark, it became a powerhouse. I would even say after evolving, it's my best member.

Still waiting on the Good Rod to catch a Carvanha.

Now for the problem. I'm stuck on Norman's Slaking. Blazer can only 3 or 4HKO it with Double Kick, Naruto's Dig is about a 15HKO with only 10 PP, and no one resists Facade. Any ideas besides grinding?

@auramaster: T-Wave it and spam Flash until Manectric faints or you use Flash 6 times. Switch in Shroomish and Leech Seed it (since it won't be doing anything). Switch in Ninjask and hit it until Ninjask dies, then switch in Combusken and try to clean up.

On an unrelated note, I would like to make an appeal to zdrup15 (or anyone else after 1 day). zdrup gave me a Chansey to use for my FireRed runthrough, but school starts in just over a week for me and I am not sure I'll have time to catch a Chansey. As a request, I would like to change Chansey to Jigglypuff. Any restrictions whatsoever. Note that I have beaten Lt. Surge but have not yet defeated Erika.

@Dummy007, if zdrup15 doesn't impose restrictions, here's my restrictions on Jigglypuff. It must know Sing, Pound, Rollout, and Rest once it hits level 29, and keep those moves at all times. It cannot evolve. Nickname it FluffyPuff.

lol thats the moveset jigglypuff has in SSBB

Actually it's the moveset Jigglypuff has had in all the Super Smash Bros games (except she didn't have Rollout on the original N64 version). If you want you can replace Pound with Body Slam at level 34, and replace Rollout with Double-Edge at 49 (because let's face it, Rollout in SSBB is a Double-Edged attack).

That is a hundred times better. One note: Can I drop Pound for Double-Edge (since Pound beats stuff up in Smash Bros. but leaves you open to revenge killing)? (And maybe evolve it?) I want the first one more, though, if I can only have one.

Sing + Double-Edge + Rest= AMAZING

I BEAT WALICE!!!!
I did some minor grinding under water and in the Cave of Origon, then decided I was ready. I rain danced, then, thunder from Kryptonite almost OHKO-ed luvdisc. Instead of healing, he switched to wishcash, which I poisoned with sludge bomb, then switched to pineapple. Wallace healed it, then I OHKO-ed it with 5 bullets from bullet seed. I was destroying his when his last Pokemon proved slightly troublesome, Milotic. Thunder didn't do much, and ice beam was doing a lot of damage to my Pokemon, but I wearied it down until it fainted. I am currently at the beginning of Victory Road, the E4 is next!

Phadunk's Scramble Challenge
SoulSilver Version

Rules:
-Keep the Pokemon chosen diverse [no more than 2 of same type 'even after evo'].
-You can only post at least 5 minutes between each other, so no confusion, duplicates, or anything like that occurs.
-I would like a very interesting, yet fun, YET usable Pokemon.
-I have access to every Kanto/Johto Pokemon, so pick from any. [Because of HG cart. completed] So take your time on ideas and Pokemon. Nothing cliche or boring.

Banned Pokemon
Mewtwo[sadly], Lugia, Ho-Oh, 3 Legend Dogs, Celebi, Mew, Hoothoot, Bellsprout, Natu, Growlithe, Magikarp/Gyarados, Wooper, .
-Also have all TM's if you want to add a twist.

-My Starter has already been chosen.. and it's a Lv5 Shiny Cyndaquil, Mild Nature. It's moveset can be adjusted.. but the Pokemon itself cannot. Btw, it does have HP Grass as well. [Go AR!]
-I have a code to make Pokemon shiny, if that's what you're into.

Okay.. do your thing. I'm ready for anything.

@Phadunk- Take a ratatta and name it "FEARw/oEA" Must always know quick attack and endeavour from when its learnt.
hey, i'm going to do this on my fire red version. I cannot trade from outside of the game and (if possible) actually want something fun to do, I don't really want something normal ('standard') or ridiculously hard.

Phadunk, i'm gonna change up your Starter a bit, if you don't mind. First of all, use the TM for Fire Blast on it, and the TM must be bought legitimately in game (so you can't use your current stash of TM's). Secondly, you must forget HP Grass when you learn Fire Blast.

It can also never evolve into Typhlosion, because Quilava is cooler.

@Phadunk, take a Stantler. It must have Sunny Day and Solar Beam, as well as one other non-attacking move by level up and one attacking move by TM only.

@Smiley, take the first Growlithe you catch with the following restrictions (since you don't want something standard)
-If it is male, it must know Roar (no helping hand) and must be named Obi. If it is female, it must know Helping Hand (no roar) and be named Tasha.
-If its ability is Intimidate, it must know Substitute (via move tutor, no Overheat). If its ability is Flash Fire, it must know Overheat (no substitute).
-If it has a plus speed nature, it must know Agility. If it has a plus attack nature, it must know Extremespeed as Arcanine. If it has a plus defense nature, it must know Double Edge (move tutor). If it has a plus special defense nature, it must know Mimic (move tutor again). If it has a plus special attack nature, it must know Hidden Power. If it has a neutral nature, it must know Dig. I won't put any restrictions on moves you can't know there.
-Evolve whenever you wish.
-Pray that you don't get a female with intimidate and a plus speed nature, as that gives you one attacking move, a restriction I got for a Blastoise that is a little bothersome.

Phadunk, take a Remoraid. It is allowed to evolve as normal, but once it does, it will only be allowed to use moves with -Beam in it's name in battle. Before evolution, however, it's moves have no restrictions.
