Challenge The Scramble Challange

Not open for further replies.
I would like to do a challenge, on either Blue, Gold, Sapphire, LeafGreen, Pearl, or SoulSilver. No trading on Blue, Gold and Sapphire. I'll the first person decide which game!

Are you that Coronis from Serebii btw?

Anyway, I gave out this challenge before, but here:

HERP DERP the Bidoof. Upon evolution into Bibarel, it must change its name to HM SLAVE ASAP and change all its moves to HM moves. As a Bidoof, you must shout out "HERP DERP" or "HURR DURR" every time it attacks.

So, so far for my E4 run:

Technician Cincinno 'SuperStrike'
Technician Scyther 'MVP'
Guts Larvitar. Ri...ight. Well, technically he is eligible.
Inner Focus Bisharp 'Spartacus'

Porygon2 is no good (not seen any of the Porygon line). So IAR can post a different mon, and then I still need one other.

Well, I'd like to start my first ever scramble on Fire Red, standard ban list, with the following rules:

1) I'd like a medium challenge, so no really stupid shit please (eg. you get a Pidgey, and it cannot evolve unless it solo's Brock, and cannot evolve it again unless it solo's Lt. Surge first try, or you get a Gravelar, it can only use special moves)
2) I want to use either Squirtle or Bulbasaur as my starter, because I usually use Charizard :|
3) No restrictions on moves that have to be used in battle by my mon (eg. "You can not use the moves x y and z on your pokemon" is fine, but "You have to use the move x every time you enter battle" isn't.)
4) Could people please try not to make more than half the team have special solo requirements, because i would like to have some freedom about who I battle with

Apart from that be as creative and imaginative as possible :D Variable challenges are also extremely welcome :)

I would also like to say I reserve the right to refuse your challenge if there is something i strongly dislike.

Slowpoke master, you get a Grimer. Name it RlyStupid. RlyStupid is just that, indeed, he's so stupid that he can't learn any new moves, he must keep the ones he starts with. (Should be Disable, Sludge, Minimise, and Screech.) Upon evolving to Muk, he may learn a level up move if there is one immediately after the evolution. (Evolve Grimer at level 47 for Sludge Bomb, or 61 for Memento).

@slowpoke master: take the in-game traded Farfetch'd. Must carry its special item stick. Must have at least 2 moves that would require it's stick to attack (swords dance, fury cutter, slash, false swipe, cut). Must solo at least 3 E4 pokemon of your choice.

Not overly creative and trying to keep to your rule of no special soloing requirements, but I didn't want to make it an obtain and forget team member.

@ slowpoke master:
you get Dumb the bulbasaur...
must know one grass and one poison attacking moves asap, as well as sleep powder and sweet scent...
can use its attacking moves only once it has used both sleep powder and sweet scent at least once in battle...
solo 2 of the e4...

Slowpoke gets DERP the Growlithe. Evolve whenever, no restrictions except that it may never learn Extremespeed as an Arcanine, and it must always be five or more levels lower than the rest of your team.

VARIABLE TIMEZ

Catch the first mon on Route 14.

-Oddish(must keep Sleep Powder)
-Gloom(must keep Acid)
-Venonat(must keep Confusion)
-Pidgey/otto(must learn FeatherDance and keep it)

Now for the natures:

Hardy--Have a HM move for your 2nd move, no restrictions for Ditto
Lonely--Must know Hidden Power, No restrictions for Ditto
Adamant--Must solo all remaining Giovanni battles
Naughty--Must not attack a Water type or a mon that evolves into a Water type
Brave--Must solo Viridian Gym
Bold--Must learn Whirlwind or Poisonpowder, unless its Ditto, in which case, nothing :)
Docile--Must hold a Cheri Berry
Impish--Must know/use Facade in every battle. No restrictions for Ditto.
Lax--Cannot heal this Pokemon without a center.
Relaxed--No restrictions
Modest--Cannot heal this Pokemon with drinks.
Mild--Must solo every ghost-type seen

Quirky--Must solo Gary's Venusaur or Charizard
Sassy--Must land the finishing blow on 15 flying-types to evolve
Timid--Can only attack an enemy a maximum of 3 times
Hasty--Can only attack slower enemies
Jolly--Must have Soothe Bell
Naive--Must hold Chesto Berry at all times
Serious--Must have Soothe Bell

SRS still needs one more.

TopPercent the Rattata. Being in the top percentage of Rattata, it is so epic that it can only use physical attacks(considered physical as of gen 4). It cannot evolve into Raticate, and must solo all other Rattatas/Raticates, and solo Koga as well.

I need a different gym leader, as I have to solo Koga with Venusaur as well.

Yeah, Pory2 had to be declined because I can't get him, since none of the line can be seen in White, apart from White Forest and I don't have Porygon in mine. (Unless I'm mistaken on that, but I think I've battled every in-game Trainer and I believe Battle Subway doesn't add Dex entries.)

Vigoroth is fine though, the Slakoth line I do have.

Alright, so my challenge is:

Effective the Chimchar, who can only learn STAB moves, and has to solo every pokemon that can hit it supereffectively with their STAB moves.
WhatAWaste the Gible, who can't use any STAB moves against Gym Leaders, Elite Four, Cynthia, Barry, Cyrus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.
Hippo the Hippopotas, who must know Earthquake, Rock Slide, Stealth Rock and Toxic, and must solo a Gym Leader to evolve, and must solo 100 Trainer's Pokemon during the game, and its first action in a trainer battle must be Stealth Rock.
Uncreative the Pachirisu, MEP.
WhoAmI? the Snover, may only use moves learnable by Empoleon, and must solo a Gym Leader, and a Galactic Executive to evolve (bar pokemon that Chimchar must solo), whereupon it may use moves known by any other team member.

I cannot and will not shout out HERP DERP :P and Snover interferes with Chimchar's conditions (soloing every pokemon that hits it supereffectively with STAB moves)

@Coronis

You get an Onix!

Must solo 2 GLs. 1 of which must be Bryon
It can then evolve.
Must solo 1 E4 member, and finish with EXPLOSION!
Also must learn DragonBreath.
Nickname: Wyrm

Have Fun!

Alright Coronis,

If you're looking for a 6th member then take a Snover, and name it WhoAmI?

This Snover is very confused and is sure he is an Empoleon, so he can only use moves knowable by empoleon. He must solo a gym leader of your choice (bar pokemon which chimchar must do) and Mars, Jupiter or Saturn (again, bar pokemon which chimchar must do) to evolve. Once he evolves he can also use any move also known by another pokemon in your party.

and @ Slowpoke Master,

Take a nidoran male. He/she must solo 2 trainers in Lt. Surges gym and at least one trainer in every gym after that as well as one elite 4 member. The moves that can be used depend on the nature:

Adamant, Brave, Naughty or Impish: He learn any TM moves unless they come from a gym leader which he has soloed at least two of their pokemon.

Relaxed, Docile, Quiet, Calm or Gentle: He can't use Thrash, Mega Punch/Kick, Megahorn or any fighting moves apart from counter and seismic toss.-He's too chilled for that

Quirky, Bashful, Naive or Lonely: He can only learn moves by level up, move tutor or HM moves.

Hardy, Modest, Mild, Timid, Lax or Sassy: He can only use moves with 60 or less base power or 5 or less pp

Rash, Hasty or Jolly: Can only use attacks with poison or ground type and hyper beam. He must use hyper beam at least once in every rival battle.

Careful, Serious, Bold: You can choose any of the above.

Lastly, He loves to the sea, so every time you go surfing, you must have him in your party.

Onix cannot solo Byron, as Steelix is part ground, which means Chimchar/Monferno/Infernape must kill it, the same would apply for Bronzor vs Monferno/Infernape.

well i am going to do a firered run since i got an emulator so hit me with your best shot and since its an emulator no trades and my team must comprise of only one of each type E.G. One fire type, and the first challenge must be a starter, also i can say no to any challenge i dont wont

@Maxie, well I really hope you wont this challenge! Your starter is a Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur is a devout Vegan and will only use moves environmentally friendly. (grass moves and the powders) However, when it evolves into Ivysaur, it starts to hunger for meat, and changes to an omnivore. (can learn any moves) When it finally evolves into Venusaur, it is now addicted to flesh and becomes a Carnivore. (can only know physical moves, Leech Seed, and Giga Drain.) Name it Taste Bud.

Use Ch'Ding the Farfetch'd(that's the ingame trade one). It must always know a Flying-type move, Focus Energy, and must always hold the Stick. It must solo Erika.

@KOK yeah i wont say no to that except i was hoping for Charmander, but Bulbasuars good too its in, but is it meant to solo anyone?
@TM13IB i say yes to that since its an ingame trade but why are you giving me an easy challenge i am not complaining but i must admit i am stumped why an easy challenge? and can i chose the other moves?

I didn't say anything about solos, so no, no it doesn't.

Take the Eevee from the Celadon mansion, but he thinks he was swapped at birth and is a Slakoth. As a result, he can only use attacking moves every other turn. It must solo 2 gym leader's pokemon as an eevee and 1 gym leader after evolution as well as one of the champion's pokemon. You can evolve him as you like.

If a Jolteon: Can only use physical moves or special moves with base power 50 or less. It must know sand attack and must use it the first turn after it is sent out, every time it is sent out.

If a Vaporeon: Is not allowed to use any water moves and must know any 2 of iron tail, dig and attract.

If a Flareon: It must know overheat by the time you reach the elite 4, and use fire spin and smog in every battle in which it is used.

If an Eevee: It can only know normal moves and sand attack.

Team Magma Boss Maxie, Take an Electrode, name it Ka-Boom!!!. It must know either SelfDestruct & it must be replaced by Explosion as soon as you get it, which it must know & keep. Whenever its health drops below 50% at any point, it must use SelfDestruct/Explosion immediately without hesitation.

Have fun.

@Rackham umm question, when its elvoves does it still think its a Slackoth?
if so then yes if not no to the challenge
and Random i dont like the challenge so i am sorry but must reject it but i will reserve a spot for you if you wish
