hardest pokemon standards...ooohh... dont do that. but watever. take a beldum. it must solo fantina to evolve. thats it. name it "takemdown" after it evolves fully into metagross, it must have one special attack at all times.

@myde did you get mine?

if you dont like that... just tell me.

@Mills: You get the Zip the Emolga. Since it has to be NN Zip, you must catch it and not use the traded one. Since it's so fast and wins all the races, it thinks it's the premier Emolga. Hence, it must be caught in a Premier Ball. It must have Agility as soon as you can get it. If your opponent is faster than Zip base stat wise, it must use Frustration first turn to express its anger at not being faster. If Zip is faster base stat wise, it must use Electro Ball first turn. It must have a Quick Claw equipped at all times, just so you can't take advantage of Acrobatics, though, you can still have the move. Solo Skyla's gym for me, won't ya?
You mean just her junior trainers? Skyla herself is handled by:
Take one of my favorite 5th gen pokemon, joltik. Teach it 4 moves that are all different types. Once you have this set, it may evolve. Have it solo skyla with a maximum of 5 STAB uses durig the battle.
leaving this team member:
@mills

You get a cubchoo named L8inDaGame because you can't get him until... late in the game.
Because you get him so late you have to make up for lost time, solo all remaining gym leaders and evolve ASAP.
When you battle the elite 4 L8inDaGame may not know any TMs, only level up moves and HMs and he must solo 3 of any one members 4 pokemon.
to solo Brycen or Drayden, whichever of the two is not handled by:
@Mills: You get Mister Meh the Klink. Depressed at its massive joke of a movepool, it doesn't even feel like using its signature move, Shift Gear, or any move of base 80 power or above (including Gear Grind, Return, and Frustration). After soloing a gym leader under these conditions, it can now use any move but Shift Gear. Once it solos three Elite Four Pokémon without items, it can use Shift Gear. Solo N's Klinklang for good measure.
to evolve into a Beartic. After that, choose an Elite Four member and as a Beartic he will solo everyone on their team not handled by:
Mills will take Serpent Jr the Snivy as a starter. This Snivy claims the Serperior in my White squad to be its father, and must have Coil, Dragon Tail, Strength / Return, and Leaf Blade by the time you reach the Elite Four. Along the way, it must solo both Chili and Clay. During the Elite Four session, it must solo the following Mons: Golurk, Krookodile, Throh, Musharna. In the throne room of N's castle it must solo the following Mons: Zekrom, Carracosta, Cofagrigus, Seismitoad.
and it won't be Shauntal because this team member:
@mills
take a ferroseed named "indarain" as the most overused pokemon, he is so proud of himself. he knows that his big bro is a beast, and he wants to be just like him. he can only evolve when he takes 10 fire attacks in the rain and survive. also, he must solo all waters because thats what he does: piss on bulky waters.
is handling her Jellicent. Serpent Jr will have to solo the entire first half of the game, up to the point where Zip is caught. Will you deal with this, Mills?

Mister Meh has been edited as shown:
@Mills: You get Mister Meh the Klink. Depressed at its massive joke of a movepool, it doesn't even feel like using its signature move, Shift Gear, or any move of base 80 power or above (including Gear Grind, Return, and Frustration). After soloing the N encounter in Chargestone Cave under these conditions, it can now use any move but Shift Gear. Once it solos three Elite Four Pokémon without items, it can use Shift Gear. Solo N's Klinklang for good measure.

After lots of planning, preparations, and playing through the same opening sequence I've done a thousand times, I'm finally beginning the Shedinja Ruby solo challange!

First, let me just start by saying that this challange will most likely be the most difficult and grinding intensive challange I've ever done. My planned moveset at the end of the game is Shadow Ball (physical in Gen 3), Rock Tomb, Dig, and Giga Drain. However, this is subject to change. If I succeed in this run, I will attempt another solo Shedinja run, this time in Pearl.

First Update:
Played through the usual boring opening sequence. I started with Mudkip, in order to make my rival's starter a Treeko (for easy elimination as a Shedinja). Basically, I just played through the game, and then caught the Nincada. I tried to avoid trainer battles so I could use them to grind at a later date.

042.gif

Nincada lvl 7
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spe)
EVs: 0 (so far)
IVs (approximated using Serebii's IV checker)
27/17/25/18/5/9
Hidden Power Type: Electric, 40 BP.
Stats:23/13/19/10/9/9
Moves:
>Scratch
>Harden
>Leech Life

EDIT:
@bwburke: I requested pokemon for a solo of Ruby, with coin flips deterimining the solo runner. Nincada, which must evolve immediately after learning Dig and only use the Shedinja, was the winner.

Today, I started my Sapphire Scramble Challange. I'm already annoyed.

So, I started out the game, went through the opening sequences, received my starter, Mudkip, and promptly named him Swampy. (In hindsight, I should've went with Torchic to make soloing my rival with a LILEEP easier) Anyways, I beat my rival, got the Pokedex and Running Shoes, and then went on to the next route. Here, after I checked on Serebii, I realized I could catch my Ralts. So, after about 25 encounters, I found one, got its health into the yellow... and KOed it with a Critical Mud-Slap. *facepalm*

After another 15 encounters, I found it, brought it down to the red, and caught it. As according to the rules, I nicknamed it Glldtr, and began training it, which actually wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. The fact it didn't learn any attacking moves until Level 6 made it a bit more challenging, but I eventually completed his first objective.

After progressing through the story, I made it to Rustboro, where I caught my next party member, Ninja the Nincada. And his problem is that he is hard to train since he can't do anything in the gym.

After training everyone to a sufficient level, I took on Roxanne. She wasn't too hard. I just let Ninja out the first turn and then switched out for Glldtr, who was 2HKOed by Geodude's Rock Throw. Of course, Swampy managed to easily defeat Geodude, and then spammed Water Gun against Nosepass with the occasional Potion. And with that, I received my Stone Badge, healed at the Center, and prepared for the next leg of my adventure.

Team status:

Mudkip (Swampy) Lv 13
Moveset:
Tackle
Growl
Mud-Slap
Water Gun

Ralts (Glldtr) Lv 13
Moveset:
Growl
Confusion
Double Team

Nincada (Ninja) Lv 13
Moveset:
Scratch
Cut
Leech Life
Sand-Attack

Requesting Black scramble challenge.
No trades.
Do not make it too easy or extremely difficult and not very annoying challenges.
No Elemental Monkeys.
And I want Joltik.

You want Joltik? Well to bad. Take Not Joltik the Joltik. This is not a Joltik. This is really a Zorua disguised as a Joltik. So, it may only learn moves that both of them can learn. However, once you get all 8 badges it realizes that it is really a Joltik. It may now evolve. It was deceived by a Dark type, so it now hates all Dark types and must solo all of them for the rest of the game.

Accepted

Edit: when i get all 8 badges can i use moves that zorua doesn't learn?

Nauris, you get a Tirtouga. Since your avatar is a Corsola, it can only learn moves that Corsola can learn. Additionally, since Corsola's higher attacking stat is Special Attack, it must learn at least two Special moves and no more than one Physical move. Name it Chelola. (Chelonian + Corsola)

@Nauris

You get a Timburr.

This Timburr loves golf, and therefore, must prove himself against all other golfers. He must solo 20 Pokemon with arms to evolve once, and must also solo Drayden, because he has a glove. (and looks most like a golfer)

Nickname him GolfHead

Have Fun!!

Start with a female Tepig named IH8GameFrk. She hates Game Freak because she is the third Fire/Fighting starter in a row, yet she is completely outclassed by every one before her. Therefore, she must learn both Head Smash and Frustration. When you fight against Marshall, she will solo one of his pokemon (your choice) using only Head Smash. She will also start the final battle against N by using Head Smash every turn until you run out of PP or faint.

Alright Nauris, take a Vanillite named RockBoss. It must solo 20 Rock Pokemon to evolve, and must solo N's Carracosta and Archeops.

While I'm here, might as well update my Sapphire Scramble.

After defeating Roxanne, I continued through the story, rescuing Peeko and the Devon Goods. Now I could travel to Dewford to catch my next team member!

In Granite Cave, I ran around in the dark for a few minutes before finding my target- a Sableye. I caught and nicknamed it Tricky, as part of the rules. I also found Steven and gave him the letter. After this, I sailed to Slateport with my sights set on the next Pokemon to find.

Running around on Route 110, I discovered my next team member- a Plusle. *sighs* I caught it, named it Plus, and started training everyone to a reasonable level. During this, I found out that soloing all Electrike is going to be a challenge.

Oh well. My training finished, I went to the Dewford Gym and swept Brawly with Ralts.

I am going to do a scramble for emerald. No trading and I do not want overused/powered pokemon; blaziken, sceptile, swellow, breloom, manetric, aggron, salamence, etc. Also I want a claydol

Excellent! Since you don't want a Blaziken, you can have a Combusken! It may not evolve to Combusken until after the 5th gym. It may never evolve into Blaziken (because you think it's OP). Also, solo every instance of every pokemon on your OP list above, because Combusken wants to atone for its evolution's sins. Nickname it inb4DrmWld.

Have fun. I will edit in an update for my Ruby Shedinja Solo (obtained from a scramble) here.

@Justice: Take a Baltoy and name it RubiksCube. It must learn and keep Rapid Spin forever because it wants to change from a cube into a ball. When it evolves (after soloing 50 sphere-shaped Pokemon), rename it Yo-Yo Ball. It may now forget Rapid Spin, but it must use any move it uses twice in a row before it can change moves. (e.g., Hyper Beam, Hyper Beam, Earthquake, Earthquake, Earthquake, Earthquake, etc.)

@Justice: take a Slakoth, name it Sacrifice. As such, it can only use moves that have a negative effect on itself, like recoil, (re)charge, taking damage first, or being low on HP. Until you get one of these moves, Scratch must be your only attack. Have Fun!

Status Update: I really haven't spent much time with this, trying to get a good Battle Subway team in Black, but I'll try harder.

Torchic (Revenge)
Lvl 12, Sassy
-Ember
-Scratch
-Focus Energy
-Growl

Shroomish (DRAIN-R)
Lvl 14, Quirky
-Absorb
-Tackle
-Stun Spore
-Leech Seed

Wingull (Win Gull)
Lvl 13, Lax
-Growl
-Water Gun
-Supersonic
-Wing Attack

Just landed in Dewford, no real trouble yet, Shroomish easily swept Roxanne, Wingull has finished its ten solos. Plan: Catch a Sableye, own Brawly with Wingull

Justice: Listen carefully. You get a Pichu. Yes, a Pichu. But this particular Pichu isn't like its brothers and sisters: it knows the secret move Volt Tackle. It wants to use this special move as often as possible, so every time it enters battle, before doing anything else at all, it must use Volt Tackle at least once. Even if you run into a Ground-type. It can evolve to Pikachu after you beat the Mossdeep Gym Leaders. (No, you don't have to use Pichu, but if you do, you'll still have to use Volt Tackle. If it can survive that @%$# Claydol's Earthquake spam, that is.) It cannot become Raichu until after Victory Road. Nickname your Pichu "Volteccer", after Volt Tackle's Japanese name.

Recap:
-Volteccer the Pichu
-Must breed to get Volt Tackle
-Use Volt Tackle at least once as soon as it enters battle
-Evolve to Pikachu after Mossdeep Gym
-Evolve to Raichu after clearing Victory Road
