What do you keep in your pockets?

Right pocket usually contains my wallet and my keys. Left pocket my phone and earphones for it (yeah... I haven't got an iPhone... im stuck with an LG Cookie). I do find the pens stuff strange tough (except for when you need it for certain stuff). Whats the use without paper?

Wallet ALWAYS goes in the right pants pocket. I have a replica of the wallet Samuel L Jackson sported in Pulp Fiction, which is a great conversation starter.

Haha, my ex boyfriend has that as well, it's an awesome wallet.

Also, I am very specific about the pens I carry as well! Actually, right now I have one of those 5-ink pens that I bought in Japan, and I typically use that for doodling pictures at restaurants. Typically my new thing is that whenever I go out to eat, I'll draw a picture/play hangman/write random lyrics/do whatever on the back of a placemat, and then leave it that side-up for whoever cleans the table, and I'll write them a note. It's amusing for me.

Aside from my 5-ink pen, I love just any felt-tip art pens or smooth rolling ball pens. I would love love LOVE to acquire a fountain pen sometime soon, I already have a set of quills that I adore.

Nothing terribly interesting. Usually just a pen or two, some spare change and my wonderful old iPod Nano from 2005 (even if it is out of power, I tend to use the headphones while I'm on the school bus / in the family car for those 'I really, really can't be bothered to make polite conversation with you' moments.)
By the way, Fishy, I love fountain pens too. I don't use them anymore at school or anywhere else outside, though, as after keeping them in your pocket every day they tend to leak or break after a while. Even the relatively expensive ones aren't too reliable. I still have one that I keep in my desk at home though, and it kicks ass.

I wear khakis, everyday, all day, except for bed. The kind I have have like 1093-401752-30958123091-23580951230- pockets which is ridiculous I know.

They have a special pencil/pen pouch in which I keep a blue and black pen, as well as two pencils.
I keep my wallet in my back right pocket, although I'm considering putting it in the back left pocket.
Keep my DS in the larger pouch going down the right pants leg (I stay after school until 5:30 PM generally, so two hour waits are boring which is why I keep my DS with me always)
Keys in the left, slanted pocket (Jeep and House) on a nice key ring that I love.

Also, I care about what kind of pen I have. It can't be a shitty pen that you have to shake before you write with it, and it can't be a ridiculously thin pen that you have to press hard for it to work. I carry black and blue Pilot G2 07 pens with me because you don't have to press hard for them to work, and they write extremely well.

In my right, my phone and my iPod. In my left, a pack of gum or a rubber band. I usually have nothing in my pockets, but on some occasions, these are what I usually have.

Hmm good question, lemme think...

1. Keys
2. Wallet
3. Toilet paper (You NEVER know when you might need it)
4. Chap stick
5. And my ipod

Suit pockets: Phone, Oyster Card, Loose money, iPod, Keys
When out and about I omit the iPod, put the phone and keys into coat jacket and keep the oyster card, money and phone in front trouser pockets.

I'm with Stylish Interval with khakis on everyday, but mine seem to have less pockets. I carry my phone, wallet, pencil, pen, lunch card, and keys with me everyday. Also, the only way I'll remember stuff is to write it down, so depending on the day I might have a bunch of scrap paper notes in my pockets.

right: phone, camera if out with no coat
left: keys, change
back right: wallet if out with no coat

with coat:
right coat: ipod, wallet, camera, phone
left coat: gloves, sub tickets
right: phone if not in coat
left: keys, change

edit: dnlphm94 knows how it's done

for all the people who carry pens, what do you use them for? i find it sort of strange, especially if you're just going out for lunch or something
well, I'm at school/doing homework a lot of the time, so my pens just end up in my pocket.
i find it odd you give a shit what kind of pen you write with personally
It's just so comfy and easy to write with.

I always keep an egg of Silly Putty where ever I go so I never get bored. I also useally keep a pen and my cell phone in my pocket. Oh, and during school I keep my schedule in there, because I can never seem to remember where my study halls are.

i do the 3 tap touch (keys wallet phone) then i'm good to go. usually i will also have a lighter, mp3 player...

I see you and raise to...

Tap-grab!

I.e. I tap my right pocket/hoodie pocket to see if I have cellphone with me, and then grab in my right jacket pocket to see if my keys and wallet is there (I keep them in the same pocket). usually though, I just do the grab, since I have music on, and thus I know my cellphone is with me (as said earlier, it doubles as my MP3).

I constantly check my backpocket for wallet (habit I guess), then head to my left for my cell and headphones. Then when I know I have money, I go to my right pocket.

Front Right - Keys
Front Left - Phone
Back Right - Wallet
Back Left - Nothing :O

If I take my iPod, it goes in the same pocket as my keys, I have a thick plastic case around it so it's fine. :)

To the left I usually have my phone, wallet and keys, to the right a cloth (I can't find the English alternative lol) to blow my nose in. I don't trust back pockets for some reason.

@darkie and robin: I love Pilot pens. They never dry up irregularly on me, and they're very easy to grip. =D I'm a Pilot girl as well, glad to see someone else is picky about their pens! If I have none on me I'll write with whatever's available, even if it's a felt tip pen or something, but seeing as my hands hurt horribly after about three paragraphs due to my grip problems and motor issues, I like to be in as much comfort as possible. (I sound like a salesgirl...)

I used to obsessively click the retractors, but I've cured that, for the sake of everyone around me =)

@Thorns: they're handy for jotting down memos and scribbling. Basically, pens are small and problem-free to carry in a bag, and furthermore they're the kind of thing you need sometime, and then you kick yourself for not having one on you.

Yes yes yes darkie, and others, I do love my Pilot pens. It's annoying though, I always have this problem of losing pens/pencils, especially pens, throughout the school year. But Pilot pens are definitely one of my favorites.
For some reason I used to also be obsessed with the

se, and was convinced that they worked better than their respective black counterparts. I used to be a blue-ink pen nazi in general, but have since moved onto bigger and smooooother inks.

I do this lol.

One thing I haven't quite established is which size I like the best. I've tried out 0.38, 0.5, 0.7, and 1.0. I used 0.38 at the beginning of the school year but those felt kind of weird because you have to push harder down on the paper and it feels kind of scratchy to write with. I moved to 0.5 which is nice and what I've been using. 1.0 and 0.7 are really comfy but they also write really hugely and my handwriting is pretty messy to begin. Hopefully I'll be able to sort out the differences between 0.5 and 0.7 before my current stockpile of 0.5s run out! :pimp:

Why does so many people have Iphones? lol

I usually have my cell phone, Nintendo DS, or occasionally something random I can't ever remember putting in there.
