Who here uses UU pokes in higher tiers?

I use so many UU pokemon in OU that it's not even funny.

Let's see, I've made less than 10 teams or so I think, and these are the pokemon that I remember using that are UU and used on OU teams with great success:

Bibarel
Lopunny
Rotom
Shuckle
Trapinch
Poliwhirl
Kecleon
Sudowoodo
Ursaring
Raticate
Ampharos
Magcargo
Blastoise
Clefable
Chatot
Vespiquen
Pachirisu
Mightyena
Kingler
Mr.Mime

Yeah, there's actually much more, but I can't remember them all off the top of my head. Some of them overlap on my teams of course. Heh, in other words, I play with UUs in OU a lot, they just require a ton more prediction.

I like to use Butterfree as an occasional lead, Staraptor [I think he is UU] and Blastoise [who was Tentacruel before everyone and their mother started using it].

I had a team running ariados once to counter breloom

Ariados @ Lefties
Adamant
252 HP 252 Atk 6 Def
Spider Web
Bug Bite
Shadow Sneak
Baton pass

It could trap-pass non-flamethrower bliss to something that could deal with it, and walls Spore/Sub/Punch/Seedbomb breloom, killing with bugbite while 4x resisting its attacks.

lol...

Scyther
Ampharos
Sandslash
Camerupt
Solrock
Absol
Seviper
Relicanth
Tentacruel
Slowking (I have video footage of him beating Blissey one on one)
Mamoswine apparently
Meganium
Torkoal
Poliwrath
Plusle (Nasty Plot/Substitute/Thunderbolt/Grass Knot...has SOME sucess)
Hitmonlee
Hitmontop
Driftblim
Pikachu
Lopunny
Ninetales
Altaria
Manectric
Lunatone
Ursaring
Bannette
Azumarill
Toxicroak

I've been having great success with Kangaskhan lately. Scrappy ability kicks ass and Sub-Sucker Punch is great for killing Starmie and Gengar. He can take a few hits from non-choice Pokemon too.

If Slowking is UU, then yes, I use Slowking.

Slowking is always cited as the lesser of the Slows because as a special wall he's weak to T-bolt, G-knot and S-ball. But really, any unboosted non-stab one of those moves isn't doing more than 35% on him, and he can just Slack Off the damage after he Trick Rooms. He can easily go head to head with T-bolting Starmie, Nasty Plot to max and KO with Surf without ever going in the red, ready to sweep with two or three turns of Trick Room behind him. (I've done this many times.)

I have a Slowbro on my team too, though. The identical typing looks like it'd be a crippling disability, but it isn't.

I used too - (and in the process of doing so I mush have used three quarters of them) - however now I don't bother, it's just too disheartening.

Countercoat gastrodon really kills stuff, especially electivire, weavile and infernape when lacking grassknot (or with grassknot if lacking N-plot.).

Where's Lee?

I use Articuno(I know he's BL, but I really haven't seen another Cuno on all of Shoddy), and Jumpluff in a Spikes+SR team to force switches. Hitmonchan brought me a lot of success with STAB CB Iron Fist Adamant Focus Punch. Ripped right through a LOT of stuff.

Lee swept me using the likes of Glaceon. Seriously he had like a whole UU team and just slaughtered me.

Where's Lee?

:heart::heart::heart:

I think I've used Rotom in every game since I began D/P...I use Hitmonchan a lot too. Sharpedo, Golem and Muk are usually in my teams. Generally, I have 1 OU in my team, a few BLs and then 3 UUs. It's usually a cool OU like Rhyperior though, none of this Cress shit.

Yeah, I used quite a list of UU's this gen. Some BL. BL-Below pokes I often use with the rate of success next to them:

- Miltank (If you dont use it as a Blissey or a Tauros, it can indeed wreck)
- Wailord (Choice Scarf Water Spout for the lulz)
- Typhlosion (Same principle as Wailord, can net KO's)
- Manectric (Clearly less good as last gen...or rather, the rest just became better)
- Kingdra (Amazing poke, but needs certain pokes out of the way)
- Pikachu (Fun factor is amazing, success rate is very variable)
- Swellow (Too easily walled)
- Persian (Lacks the power)
- Raikou (To me, he doesn't exist anymore. Weakling)
- Muk (SubPunching he's amazing at. As he is in going boom)

Yeah, those spring to mind.

CSpecs Sniper Kingdra doesn't need anyone out of the way.
Draco Meteor OHKO's Blissey on the crit and everyone else for that matter.
I wish more people would abuse it, actually.

Just a thought that came to mind. The line between UU and OU is getting more and more blurred thanks to CScarf and CSpecs. Everyone does something unique and, while in the past hampered by bad speed and/or movepool, can be remedied.

There are still that are considered impossible to use. They need their own place.

Relicanth.
I managed to get in a Rock Polish surviving a Weavile nightslash and Head Smashed it into oblivion.
Some UUs I want to test out are Steelix, Lanturn and Hitmontop.

<3 Relicanth(I used him to some success but TR is needed to reach his maximum potential, rock polish is also worth mentioning but canth loves his band.) I also enjoy using Rotom with his amazing typing and decent speed and satk. Also like Claydol I mean immunity from two of the field moves and resistance to one of them is really nice for a spinner, but besides spinning away I really can't decide what else to let him do so he's left in the "team workshop" mostly without seeing much if any at all action.

I use teh Mamoswine. I fail to understand exactly how it's UU. I do mostly BLs though (my main team is like 5 BLs and Bronzong). I also have a trick room team with a Slowking on it.
