The next main match is titled Room Swap.

This game takes place over four rounds. In each of the four rounds, which last 24 hours, players will decide whether to enter one of three rooms: the Attic, the Basement, and the Cellar. Points will be distributed based on how many people are in each of the rooms.
  • If there are 2 players in each room, every player gets one point.
  • If there are 3 players in one room, 2 players in another, and 1 player in the final room, the 3 players will each gain one point.
  • If there are 4 players in one room, 2 players in another, and the final room is empty, the two players will each gain one point.
  • If there are 4 players in one room and 1 player in each of the other rooms, the 4 players will each gain one point.
  • If there are 5 players in one room, 1 player in another, and the final room is empty, the 1 player will gain one point.
  • If all six players are in one room, or there are three players in two different rooms, no points will be gained.
It will be announced how many players gained a point, but not who those players are.

There are two items in this game: Peek and Block. Both require garnets to be used.

In addition to sending in your initial room choice, you may also use a Peek: name a player and learn their initial room choice for a fee of two garnets. (Note the usage of the word initial in the preceding sentence, that will come up with the next item.) This item may be used by any player at any time (with one exception, see the second paragraph after this one) as long as you have the garnets and are willing to fork them over. It will be revealed how many Peek items were used, but not the identity of the player or players who used them. If a player has not submitted a room choose but a Peek item was used against them, the garnets will be refunded and the user will be informed the item was not used or played, but nothing more.

For a fee of five garnets, players may also use a Block: choose a player and forbid them from entering one of the three rooms from the round; if they have already sent in that room as their choice, they will be immediately informed they are to choose a different room - while if they haven’t sent in their choice, they will be told which room is restricted to them before they do. Players may only use this item one time during the course of the game no matter how many garnets they have. The identity of the player who purchased this item will never be revealed, although it will be publicly revealed after the round is over how many Block items were used, if any.

If you intend to do one of the following items, do so in your confessional AT THE SAME TIME OF YOUR ROOM CHOICE or it will not be acknowledged or counted. You cannot also use a Peek and a Block in the same round.

After the fourth round is posted, the point distribution will be revealed, and the player or players with the fewest points will be the Elimination Candidate and will choose a player without a Token of Life to join them in the Death Match. The player or players with the most points at the end of the game will win the game and receive a Token of Life. A sole winner will have the option to give a Token of Life to any other player that is not the Elimination Candidate. As always, if an extra Token of Life is to be given, it will be given before the Death Match Opponent is announced.

A sole winner will receive four garnets for winning, while joint winners will receive two garnets for winning. No matter what, every player will receive one garnet per point they earn in the game.

Be mindful of this point: if there is a joint win of four players, the two losers will automatically go to the Death Match against each other; if there is a joint win of five players, the one loser will automatically be the Elimination Candidate while an emergency tiebreaker round between the five other players determines who wins, gets Tokens of Life, and who will be the Death Match Opponent; if there is a joint of win six players, an emergency tiebreaker fifth round will commence for everyone.

Room Swap will formally begin tomorrow - March 15 - at 4 PM EST. Use this time to get prepared.

Immediate clarification:
  1. A Block item being used will restrict further block items on the player. If another player attempts to use a Block item on an already-blocked player, they will be informed the item was not used or played.
  2. Block items must be used in the first 12h of the round.
  3. You may ony Peek at one player per round.
  4. You are allowed to change your initial room choice before deadline. Although a player was told they couldn't, host contemplation led to this being changed.

Round 4 of Room Swap has ended.

Zero players have gained points.

This concludes the Main Match.

First: I wish to apologize if there have been delays or hangups with this game. I've been recovering from a pretty intense upper respiratory infection, and my brain has been totally in the clouds. The good news is I'm coming back to earth now, and my cohosts have helped me check the details of this game.

The results (which have been triple-checked by people other than me) are in for Room Swap.

There was one Peek used overall and three Blocks used in Round 4.

Final score:

Clefable: 2
11oyd: 1
Dot Agumon: 1
Ivy: 1
MrJelli: 1
Ransei: 1

With a sole win of two points, Clefable wins the game. He gains four garnets, a Token of Life, and will distribute the Token of Life to any of the other five players. Afterwards, he will select an Elimination Candidate, who will select a player without a Token of Life to be the Death Match Opponent.

Public garnet count below.

Clefable - 45
Ransei - 14
11oyd - 11
MrJelli - 10
Ivy - 8
Dot Agumon - 8

Ivy has selected Ransei as the Death Match Opponent. Please schedule a time to play Black and White II.

In this game, you will compete by using a portion of a limited pool of points. The player with the most victories will win the Death Match. Both players will start with 99 points. The game will consist of 9 rounds. In each round, players will use as many points as they wish out of their 99 points.

When a starting player decides how many points they'll used, It is revealed to the opponent whether it is a 1-digit (announced as Black) or a 2-digit number (announced as White). The opposing player can see that before they decide how many points to use for the round.. The number itself is not revealed.

The player who used more points in each round will gain a victory. The points you used will be subtracted from the total, and it will be shown which interval your total point amount lies in. The intervals are: 99-80, 79-60, 59-40, 39-20, 19-0. It will be shown which interval your remainder of points is in as soon as you send in your points.

The player who wins each round will be the person who starts the following round.

The winner of this Death Match gains the opponent's garnets.

Sorry for the delay, folks. Got a bit sick last night, but that went away.

The next Main Match is titled Room Swap II.

In this game you will have to make the choice between garnets and a higher chance at winning, but must be careful not to make the same choice as your competitors. Much like the above, this game takes place over four rounds, each lasting 24 hours.

Each round, you will choose one of four rooms: Kitchen, Parlor, Ballroom, and Restroom. Each room has a different level of one of two stats, Power or Influence, inversely correlated.

Kitchen: 3 Power / 6 Influence
Parlor: 4 Power / 5 Influence
Ballroom: 5 Power / 4 Influence
Restroom: 6 Power / 3 Influence

Players are awarded the levels of power and influence of the room they are in, minus one for every other player in it. In other words, you have to be alone in the room to reap its full benefits. For every other person that goes into the same area as you, the total of Influence and Power is decreased by one. However, once a stat off a room hits zero, it will not decrease to negative numbers - it just stays at zero.

Example: If three people are in the Ballroom, they would each gain 3 Power and 2 Influence.

At the end of each 24-hour round, players will gain a garnet for every 1 Influence they have. The player with the most Power will win the game and receive a Token of Life, while the person with the least Power will be the Elimination Candidate.

Ties for most and least power will be broken by Influence then proceed, in the case of ties on Influence, by these rules:
  • If there is a joint win between two players, the two winners will choose an Elimination Candidate from the three losers, who will choose one of the other two to be their Death Match Opponent.
  • If there is a joint win among three players, the two losers automatically go to Death Match.
  • If there is a joint win among four players, the one loser will be the Elimination Candidate and then a bonus fifth round will occur to determine who is eligible to be the Death Match Opponent.

We will begin on Wednesday, March 25th, at 8 PM EST. Use the time till then to strategize.
