I think that you should make its downward animation (The one where its hands spread out) loop 2 more times then make the one where its body moves up and its hands press against its body as a rare animation.Made a start on inkay. I'm thunking about what I should keep as a rare animation...

sunny: Yeah, okay, I'll give that a shot.
Anyways, I made a new pancham sprite. I accidentally made the dimensions too big (not the sprite) so you can just see with a link. I personally think it looks sorta fat...

I like the new position of its body, but its tail ball is a bit too small imo, but not that much. Maybe increase its size by like 4 pixelssunny: Yeah, okay, I'll give that a shot.

Hey guys, I'm back. When I was playing in PS I realised my Chesnaught sprite had been replaced with another one, which is understandable, as my sprite was far from perfect.
Although I do not want to bash other people's work, I thought the new sprite had faulty linework coupled with erroneus proportions. So I applied the new sprite's palette to my old sprite (because I thought it looked a lot better than my old, dull looking one) and fixed some things up, while also adding an accurate shiny.
No problem. I'm just glad I could help. Thanks Gold, that looks lovely. C:
That's bloody amazing! I love the way you shaded it and the palette you used! If anything, I would only make a few minor improvements, namely making the arms a slight bit thicker closer to the body, and moving the left spike a bit lower on the back sprite, since it doesn't seem to be at the same height from that perspective.my lonely chesnaught sprite is always available if you may need it. but edits are probably more efficient. I think I'll get back into spriting, but god I'm overwhelmed with work at the moment.

Here are the split up body parts of the sprites, separated into layers in.xcf (gimp) format ready for animation if chosen to be used~

oh thanks nameless <:3
Posted the current sprite and the one you put up there just now.
I most certainly disagree with your thought. In terms of proportions there isn't a great deal of difference, aside from the size of the arms (namely because they are at different angles to your sprite). I'd say perhaps the left leg on the newer sprite needs to be slightly thicker, and maybe there needs to be a bit of work on the face in terms of the jawline, but that's it.![]()
I have one rather glaring thing to say about your sprite, though - it has only one eye, when both should easily be visible from that angle.
Well thanks! It looks good now! Now I need to do some qc to the pancham.

I was also thinking... should I make the pancham stand on 2 legs, or is the current pancham okay?
I think the color is a bit off on the legs and armor, but good job otherwise.Hey guys, I fixed up my Chesnaught sprite and started working on an animation, here's what I have so far:

There's acouple things I still need to fix up and I still need to do some rare animation, but I'd apreciate any sort of critique on this rough draft!

I understand your concern with the palette, but don't act like yours is better, please. Chesnaught may not be peached-colored, but that puke green with highly contrasting shadows is hideous....don't know what you've done with the colour scheme, because it now looks even further removed from the actual colour scheme of Chesnaught, and it is is still missing the left eye as we look at it. Please don't start animating until we are certain that it is signed off for that, otherwise you're just wasting your time - just because you think you're done doesn't necessarily mean that everyone else here will agree (yes, I'm in a crap mood and I'm getting cheesed off at people not taking feedback on board).
Anyway, let's see what I can do here...(edited colour scheme and added the eye in).

Both of your complaints can be fixed in a couple seconds, don't get so fired up like that dude.
