This will be a tournament consisting of Ruby/Sapphire generation battling. Players will battle in the uber, overused, and underused metagames every round, with the winner of two of three battles advancing. The first battle to be played will be changed each round, so players cannot just avoid their weakest metagame. There are no restrictions on who can join.
This is an invitation to Diamond/Pearl players to come and experience a different form of Pokemon that requires different set of skills to compete. Aiming for 32, 48, or 64 players, first come first serve up to 32, but after that veterans can be subbed in at discretion to try to keep the tournament more competitive.
