Why is Sawk soo low? It has decent Speed, 125 Attack, decent movepool, and Reversal + Sturdy.. and he's likely going in NU when it's made.

And who the hell are the people that used Metapod 117 times in Ranked BW OU?

| 16 | Gengar | 57689 | 9.6263 |
| 20 | Starmie | 49991 | 8.3417 |
| 21 | Gyarados | 46153 | 7.7013 |
| 22 | Hydreigon | 42618 | 7.1114 |
| 23 | Forretress | 41393 | 6.9070 | (It's good but not THAT good)
| 25 | Infernape | 39458 | 6.5841 |
| 26 | Ninetales | 37550 | 6.2658 | (trololol drought will not get banned)
| 27 | Vaporeon | 35047 | 5.8481 |
| 28 | Salamence | 34864 | 5.8176 |
| 30 | Chandelure | 31648 | 5.2809 |
| 33 | Metagross | 31188 | 5.2042 |
| 34 | Terrakion | 31080 | 5.1862 | (only god knows why this isn't higher)
| 35 | Swampert | 30888 | 5.1541 |
| 36 | Haxorus | 29906 | 4.9903 |
| 39 | Hippowdon | 28282 | 4.7193 |
| 41 | Deoxys-S | 27314 | 4.5577 | (should be higher)
| 42 | Machamp | 26504 | 4.4226 |
| 43 | Landorus | 26297 | 4.3880 | (should be higher)
| 44 | Whimsicott | 25583 | 4.2689 |
| 45 | Latias | 25340 | 4.2284 | (should be higher... it's Latios' clone for fuck's sake; it's still good)
| 50 | Virizion | 23124 | 3.8586 | (should be higher)

OU should be cut off at 53 (I.E. Tornadus gets in). Surprisingly, UU is actually pretty... UUish. Also all of the 600 pixies... ALL OF THEM are below that mark, lol. Gorebyss and Mew will be banned in the blink of an eye! Also, Aboma Blizzspam with Kyurem is cool too.

I can tell UU will be fun. Pokemon I listed need drops to be tested in UU. Chandelure in ou is lol.

#Sajak: Ferrothorn kicks its arse without HP Fire; that's why.

Also, DROUGHT EVIOLITE VULPIX GO!
Actually, Jirachi is 12th with 10.4292.

For all the 5 eligible pixies, they are here:
| 12 | Jirachi | 62501 | 10.4292 |
| 69 | Celebi | 15261 | 2.5465 |
| 76 | Mew | 13497 | 2.2522 |
| 90 | Victini | 9659 | 1.6117 |
| 93 | Shaymin | 8876 | 1.4811 |
Also, we should ban Missingno. from LC because it's so overcentralizing.

Sawk is too average. Besides, Reversal + Sturdy sucks in OU (yo Ttar, how ya doin'). Metapod + Eviolite is massive overtroll.

Oh, and those stats look really nice. Terrakion finally gets the love he deserves. However, I really AM surprised to see Mienshao OU.

Personally surprised at Slowbro (UU), Mienshao (OU), Swampert (OU), Tentacruel (OU), Mamoswine (UU), all of the pixies in general except for Jirachi, Dusknoir (UU, the sub punch set is legit), and Escavalier (UU). Oh well, we'll see how all of these Pokes that surprise me do in their respective Tier.

Thanks for the stats. Pretty interesting stuff.

Not really a surprise, but:
| 52 | Porygon2 | 20833 | 3.4763 |

| 122 | Porygon-Z | 5334 | 0.8901 |

Eviolite has made Pory2 OU, but Z UU

Thank you tons for the stats. I'm still loving the fact that Kyogre reigns supreme in Ubers (as I expected) since I like it more than Mewtwo. Blaziken number 12...my favorite pokemon contending with version mascots and Ubers...I'm tearing up.

The other stats are interesting as well. Yeah power creep, but Swampert still makes a damn good switch-in to Heatran, Gliscor, Jirachi, and deals with Sand pretty decently too. Starmie is #winning forever, but it's sad to see Zapdos go. UU will be fun, maybe I'll get into it this gen.

These stats must be borked...

I'm sure they'll dramatically change next month. Whimsicott is OU. What? And Tangrowth isn't?

I don't see what's bad about Whimsicott. I mean, it isn't going to be sweeping teams, but it's a solid Pokemon.

Thanks a lot for these stats Rising_Dusk, the effort is greatly appreciated.

I don't understand why Terrakion sees so little usage, because it's a baller. Sure, it's weak to Mach Punch and Bullet Punch, but Scizor and Conkeldurr are almost one-dimensional and are incredibly easy to play around.

Thanks for the stats Rising_Dusk.

I'm very excited for UU, I was hoping i'd be able to use Haxorus on my teams, but alas, he's too popular.

Disuse has no bearing on power. Look at Wobbuffet, which is phenomenally useful, at #141.
While I understand the point of your post, I'm just going to point out that Wobbuffet is phenomenally useful at getting set up on now that no one's really afraid of Encore lasting forever anymore. If it's something like Garchomp who can just Sub, or a wall that can Toxic/Taunt/Spikes/Leech Seed forget about it. It's only niche these days is killing Choiced attackers not named Hydregion, which isn't that big considering the astonishing number of things it can't beat.

Whimsicott is much more versatile in its role as a supporter and can Encore any setup move without having to rely on the 50/50. Sure, the other guy can just switch out, but Whimsicott is very much capable of crippling the next thing that comes in, unlike Wobbs.

Thanks a lot Rising_Dusk for the stats. Top 10 was obvious, most of which were common on SS teams (I'm really sick of constant SS teams), however many of the pokemon in 50-80 surprized me. And whats with Latias it's so low on the ratings eventhough it's a real beast.
just realized that 4/6 of my team is in the Top 10 for rated BW OU.

Let's see...

Code:
 + ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
 | Rank | Pokemon | Usage | Percent |
 + ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
 | 1 | Ferrothorn | 127997 | 21.3582 |
 | 2 | Tyranitar | 124735 | 20.8139 |
 | 3 | Scizor | 112589 | 18.7871 |
 | 4 | Garchomp | 109670 | 18.3000 |
 | 5 | Gliscor | 89599 | 14.9509 |
 | 6 | Latios | 78471 | 13.0940 |
 | 7 | Excadrill | 78095 | 13.0313 |
 | 8 | Reuniclus | 76510 | 12.7668 |
Not surprising, looks like the basic sand team that runs OU. Some slight variations to it but this is the jist of it. Solid, predictable, and boring. But... I wonder where Politoed is? Scizor is grossly overused though.

Code:
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
| Rank | Pokemon | Usage | Percent |
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
| 13 | Politoed | 61688 | 10.2935 |
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
Really? I know Politoed isn't Tyranitar but Drizzle is so ridiculous. I see Rain teams nearly every other time so maybe its more common towards the top of the ladder.

Code:
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
| Rank | Pokemon | Usage | Percent |
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
| 15 | Thundurus | 57828 | 9.6495 |
| 20 | Starmie | 49991 | 8.3417 |
| 32 | Tentacruel | 31247 | 5.2140 |
| 49 | Toxicroak | 23494 | 3.9203 |
| 53 | Tornadus | 20586 | 3.4351 |
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
Pretty surprising to see Politoed's main supports so far down the line. Thundurus is arguably the most dangerous Pokemon in the metagame (even outside of rain) and Tornadus rips holes into teams under Rain. But it is refreshing to see Tentacruel and Toxicroak getting some love. Dry Skin and Rain Dish really give this Pokemon some powerful highlights.

Code:
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
| Rank | Pokemon | Usage | Percent |
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
| 11 | Conkeldurr | 64134 | 10.7017 |
| 22 | Hydreigon | 42618 | 7.1114 |
| 30 | Chandelure | 31648 | 5.2809 |
| 36 | Haxorus | 29906 | 4.9903 |
| 44 | Whimsicott | 25583 | 4.2689 |
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
Decent Pokemon... All ranked way too high though. Especially Hydreigon but nothing compares to this....

Code:
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
| Rank | Pokemon | Usage | Percent |
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
| 35 | Swampert | 30888 | 5.1541 |
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
Haha. The new Electivire? This is a waste of a slot in every way. Even towards the end of dppt this was losing its luster. At the very least use Quagsire.

Code:
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
| Rank | Pokemon | Usage | Percent |
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
| 28 | Salamence | 34864 | 5.8176 |
| 34 | Terrakion | 31080 | 5.1862 |
| 41 | Deoxys-S | 27314 | 4.5577 |
| 46 | Bronzong | 25206 | 4.2060 |
| 61 | Sigilyph | 17463 | 2.9140 |
| 62 | Slowbro | 17045 | 2.8442 |
| 114 | Tangrowth | 6369 | 1.0628 |
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
All really underused. Regeneration really makes Slowbro and Tangrowth very powerful Pokemon, both deserving of an OU ranking. I expect Sigilyph to raise into ou thanks to Kevin's team. Terrakion at 34 is mind boggling. Its one of the most fierce Pokemon currently in the metagame. Even Gliscor doesn't part to party against it often.

And finally...

Code:
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
| Rank | Pokemon | Usage | Percent |
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
| 86 | Gorebyss | 9869 | 1.6468 |
+ ---- + --------------- + ------ + ------- +
Fuck you. Fuck Baton Pass. Fuck Shell Smash. You should be used less.

Quagsire is far more useless than many people would expect. It has basically no offense, no support movepool, gets set up on by Ferrothorn like anything else, and can hardly switch into most powerful attacks. Swampert, at the very least, has Stealth Rock, Roar, and a usable special attacking stat. He's also still good at checking certain threats (though it doesn't help that he can't come in on much more than once with his lack of recovery and Grass types have become exceedingly common). Countering Garchomp is a big plus for Quagsire, but there isn't much more on it's resume.

If you want to point fingers at "the new Electivire", look at Chandelure, who manages to evade the OU cutoff by a sheer mile, despite having no real function in this metgame.

I agree with you some much here, I mean really they can be so easily taken down and IMO there not that good without DW Smeragle. If you run a fast Taunter or quagsire (or another pokemon with the same ability) it's GG.

I actually use Swampert quite a bit, but not for its tank set. People are suprised at how powerful the CB set is, 2hkoing annoying stuff like Ferrocent and OHKOing Sassy Tar leads. I haven't used the tank set but I doubt its viable anymore.

Im actually suprised im facing Tyranitar only 1/5 of the time. Seems like every team is KG's sand team except with one different member. I wouldn't be suprised if the top 6 (cookie cutter sand) started to decline over the next month because everyone will be prepared for it and in the lower usage there are a ton of underrated threats, like Terrakion and Salamence.
