Final submission Supporting Material Front-view sketch Concept: This psychic bug uses its large antennae (designed to look like FM radio antennas) to pick up the psychic energy present in the air surrounding it. When it has absorbed a lot of energy, its outer cape-like shell shines and sparkles (designed to mimic this kind of leaf chafer beetle). Competitive considerations: Weak Armour - Its cape is brittle and can crack and be shed, which allows it to move more easily and quickly. Illusion - The sparkles and psychic properties of its cape allow it to confuse the opponent and appear in a different form. No Guard - It uses its antennae to focus on the opponent and increase its accuracy. This restricts its own movement and allows it to be hit more easily. High attack - 6 limbs, one set with large claws that allow the use of especially strong bug attacks (like Megahorn). A lean body that allows it to move easily. A large cape that helps it to defend itself. Also, I know the sparkles would be a nightmare for spriting, but a less tedious shiny effect could definitely be used instead of the tiny dotted sparkle effect.
