I was SR'ing TRU Darkrai from way back in May, and came up with this thing:
Darkrai
Bashful, lv. 50
4-5/4-5/30-31/30-31/28-29/31

Nature is cruddy, but doesn't actually hurt, HP and Attack suck, but if I run a special attacker set it should be OK. All the other stats are godly, though.
Thoughts? Should I keep it?

Theres a thread for this: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48265

But Natures have a greater impact compared to IVs...as good as those IV's are, the nature screws it up

I second what SithLord said, Nekomata; The lack of the 10% increase in speed or Special Attack is really going to hurt it.

Do you think two scarfed pokemon on a team is one too many? I'm a little worried about that. One of the scarfers has U-turn, so it's not that bad, but still.

The Arceus Plates. Exactly how much do they increase that types attack by?

10%? I've seen a lot of talk about it in the DBM thread, but it seemed odd not to mention Wise Glasses or something else instead, so just curious..

My friend used a team with two scarfers and it worked fairly well. Just make sure it's not two obvious scarfs like Scarf Heatran and Scarf Heracross.

The plates increase power by 20%

You do snag them from trainers but what I'm talking about has nothing to do with catching them.

You know how shinies sparkle when they appear on screen? Colosseum has that too but instead of stars, it's 2 orbs that circle the Pokemon.

Here is a picture of my old shiny Machop with the orbs, and my shiny Metagross with the orbs as they come back together to end the shiny sequence.

I wish I could've gotten video of it but I didn't have a camera worthy of making decent video back then.

After looking around YouTube I finally found a video of those orbs. Click here to watch it. The guy has a shiny Starmie. It appears at 3:21 so you should be able to see them (I commented the video and 3:21 should be clickable and if you click it it'll take you right to the moment it comes out)

It's not very clear but it's the best I can do. I'm fairly certain that you'll see the shiny orbs on a shiny shadow Pokemon as well.

Good luck!

Whoa thanks!!

Thinking about running Lucario in a Trick Room Team w/Macho Brace; that being said Lucario is not a very Defensive pokemon and since no EVs will be invested in speed the only option left is a MixCario best move set to use? Thinking of something like

Lucario @ Macho Brace
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP|252 Atk|252 SAtk
Brave Nature
-Close Combat
-Hidden Power [Ice]
-Crunch
-Vaccum Wave

Suggestions?

Don't call it MixCario, call it MixLuke cause it sounds better.

Anyway.... Lucario doesn't really work in a Trick Room environment. You're probably better off with Machamp or Hariyama there, who are already slow, if you need a Fighting type. There's a Trick Room guide somewhere that could help you buried in C&C... just don't bump it.

Next guy: The platinum analyses will be in the same place the DP ones are. They're already up for Gyarados and Gengar. U-Turn does not hold Mean Look.

also, take note that having a little art thread won't get you that rank. Expand it as much as possible, get many fans, and then you may get considered.

Yeah but Roost does give you a resistance to a SE attack.

Still looking for a plant parent with solely 30 IVs in Speed.

And what SE attack would that be?

Lati@s typing does not change when it uses Roost, so it will still dodge things like Earthquake even while Roosting because of Levitate.

Use whichever one you want. They have absolutely no difference competitively.
