Might there be one at national? Even if I do not make it. St. Louis will be far more feasible for me to visit than San Diego.
 
Thanks. Among all of the TR teams, most of the videos show Fake Out Smeargle, but I was wondering how many, if any, Follow Me Smeargles there were? I am trying to decide whether to run a simpler counter to TR as part of my strategy or have a more, Follow Me proof (Imprison, here I come!) team.

from what smearlges i have seen, i have only seen 2 use follow me. all the rest had fake out.
 
London next week, i'm getting really excited about it. My team's all done except for one or two moves I need a Platinum move tutor for, i've tested it all morning on Battle Revolution (it seemed appropriate, double battles at level 50 against complete randomers) and it all seems to work well, despite the missing moves on my 'mon. I've worked out how i'm getting there as well (why's public transport so damn expensive? >.<), now i'm just getting really excited about the whole thing.

Knowing my luck I probably won't even get picked, but it should still be an awesome day. Can't wait. :D
 
People are already starting to accuse me of stealing zerowing's team when I practice on NB. It is mere coincidence that we have the same team. Great minds think alike, I guess?

Too bad this doesn´t end up to happen in Sweden, although there will be an unofficial one atleast(singles not doubles though). Im´wondering if there will be any updates or something from the UK/paris/german tournaments when they happen (like live or something)...
 
I'm glad to see people from here are going to Nashville too. :D

I'm new to doubles but I was thinking of running something similar to this team but running Dry Skin Toxicroak instead of Metagross.

I also thought of running a team with Flatter Slowbro or Worry Seed/Gastro Acid Slaking, but I'm not really sure how to set them up. Any suggestions?

I would personally have Ludicolo or Kingdra use Surf to maximize the effectiveness of Toxicroak, and maybe make Croak a little bulky so he can enjoy healing. The Rain Dance team would be more versatile and less gimmicky/hard to set up in my opinion.

LOL! that was me! BTW- i had started the day with 4 red bulls, and had a 128 oz (gallon) of mt dew.

And every video i took got the "brought to you by the Pokegym" tag.

good times. i mellowed out for cali and AZ, seeing how my friends would not let me have any soda at all.

that's what i was thinking. i figured a SubPunch DrySkinCroak set would be ideal for that.

ROFL, good thing I didn't kick you in the head like I wanted to, that would have led to an awkward encounter here in Stark. ;)

Yeah. But isn't Nashville like three weeks away, though?

We should worry about Dallas and London first. And Philly.

Yeah man, I get your Idea but I dont think someone should be responsible for updating the thread because people here are going to want updates every single match. Besides, we always end up finding out who won at the end of the day anyway =]

@ap13095 = The only one that is involved in doubles is micuat, and he occasionally posted in this thread back when Japan's tournaments were happening. Now he's probably just watching how the US and European qualifiers go.

Yeah i was the one who was with all of you guys the whole time but never talked haha! Oh and i left right after i realized i wasnt picked so i didnt get in the group shot.
 
Feel sorry for you guys that have to worry about getting selected, it should be more like the Aussie one, first come, first served.
