Hey guys! I hope you actually read and consider this if you aren't too busy :)

I would like an avatar with a golduck in with it preferably looking really cool with black shades on is possible. Could you also have "Alch" going down the side?

Yeah I guess it's a lot to ask and I don't have anything to give back but I would really appreciate it (I'd probably praise you to no end in my sig)

EDIT: I suppose maybe a bit like Darth Meanie's but on an actual background?

Sorry to bother, but I'd like to have a custom avatar (my first). It's a bit specific.

The picture itself will be divided into backgrounds of water, grass, and fire, respectively, vertically. In the water section will be an azumarill sprite, the grass will have a roserade one, and Arcanine takes the fire area. And finally, the azumarill and arcanine should both be pointing outwards or inwards. Roserade's sprites all have it standing still anyways.

It's complicated, but if you can do it, thanks.

That's not even possible. You'd be lucky to get that in a standard sized signature, let alone an avatar. By the time it was shrunk down enough, you'd barely know what pokemon they were... I highly doubt anyone will even attempt this.
 
thanks Deathwish for the thought, but I got another person to do it. A new avvy would be nice though....Lugia or Celebi or Heatran if possible xD. Credits will be given once again.

Well, you could always try with the Party sprites. You know, the shrunk down images that appear in your party when swithching Pokemon. I'm not trying it, though, since I can only do sprites.

As in

Code: 
Water background + Azumarill
Grass background + Roserade
Fire background + Arcanine

And when you say outwards or inwards, do you mean left/right or up/down?

And you can do this on a small scale using party sprites or PMD sprites.

EDIT: I finished a quick one using party sprites, and I'll do another quick one using PMD 2 sprites.
These are in the order of the code that I put up earlier.

EDIT2: I'm done with PMD 2.
 
Well, I figured I would post some of my signatures and stuff here. I don't really possess the extreme effects/graphic bending skills that a lot of signature makes do, but I have tried to express my artistic ideas in various ways that I find fun to look back on. So, I will take you all through a little history of my sig making.

Vaati (Zelda: Minish Cap)

Probably the highlight of my early days. I saw a tutorial on how to do it on the GIMP forums and I ended up really butchering it, but, whatever. I like how it looks. I really fucked the scanlines on the left, though.

Strange Dusknoir Sig.

Again, saw a tutorial on how to make this. This sig started a pattern of very simple signatures with the render always dead in the center.

Marth

Click link for ugly sig. Thats all I really have to say about that one.

Midna

I made this about two years ago, but it is still my favorite sig ever. This is really my first successful attempt at using only my own signature making style, with marth being my first failed attempt.

Zero Suit Samus

First, ignore the bad "Zexy" (Zero+Sexy. I was thirteen. It sounded like a good idea at the time.) I shouldn't have let some of the C4D cover her arm like that, but this is another one of my favorite sigs.

Gengar

I revisited the ideas from the Vaati sig freehand. I am a bit torn on the results.

Deoxys

I made this for someone's shop. Its basically the best in a long line of sigs alike to it.

Raichu

I really like this one because I ran minimum effects on it. As you can see, its just a TCG image with a border, scandots, and a color gradient run over the whole image. This sig really defines my work around this time, because I made most sigs in just three or four layers with three or four effects.

Gyarados, Deoxys

Same deal as Raichu. Gyarados had hardly any work done on it. Its almost a crime to call these my own work, I know. I still feel that they are quality pieces though, and I like them enough to post them.

Vaporeon

Entered this in a competetion for a giveaway here on Smogon. I came in like fifth place (a haiku beat me...) but I feel this is one of my better sigs. I made a mistake with the C4D (again) on Vaporeon's stomach; it looks bad.

Kingdra

Not really much to say about this one, just messing around really.

Anyways, I hope that wasn't too tl;dr and that you guys enjoyed my work.
 
Super Spriting Thread Mark 2

A note about trainer cards: Pokecharms has an automatic trainer card generator which is very easy to use. I'd suggest checking that out.

Please keep all sprite related artwork to this topic.

Wow solstice, That is impressive. The only thing i don't like is the tail. it just doesn't fit.
That could very well be passed as a shadow dog, actually (if pokemon were to sap even more crap out of their series)
