Anyone else liking the 4 new admins? I don't remember those characters being in GSC so I'm assuming their originals. I hope they have given a bit more depth/better pokemon than Team Galactic Admins (though they were cool). The one with green hair (far right) reminds me of Searchman's operator from Megaman battlenetwork...
And the girl doesn't look too horrible. But honestly, you could fit an elephant under that freakin' hat. TOO MUCH.
Geisha house is pretty cool, I wonder how big their role will be this time round, and if they will be joined by more sisters?
Edit: I saw Gianblahblah video regarding Brendan, tough to tell whether it's real or not. Extremely poor quality, and even the set-up of the page looks a bit sloppy but I dunno. From what I can see from Brendan's sprite, it looks new... There is a Pokemon standing beside him which looks a bit like Torchic. (Hopefully that doesn't mean you fight him early or anything >_>, or maybe it's just because... Gold has a Pichu in the scan anyways).
I guess we will see come August 13th if he's right or not.
Edit2: Also, why is that whenever someone scans CoroCoro their scanner is complete crap? Does no one with access to the magazine know how to use a scanner properly? :s

+The stat combinations are filled, veiw the chart shown on the Smogon main site
-It is very likely that there will be no new additions to the equiptable abilities
+HGSS is the couterpart to Platnum as FRLG was to Emerald and essetially as we have found out about DRCG (different region counterpart games) they run on the same battle engines. More simply HGSS runs on the Platinum Battle Engine as FRLG ran on the Emerald Battle Engine (considering FRLG was released before Emerald).
-There is a possibility there will be new forms added to already multiform pokemon
+Just as the Deoxys forms were released in FRLG, the new speed form for deoxys was released in Emerald. That could lead to new forms for rotom (toilet rotom-signature move muddy water....joke) or Giratina which if Nintendo does correctly could be brilliant.
Were does this leave us at?
Essentially nowhere but I've just established possible links between DRCGs which could lead to possible ideas about the information Nintendo will most likely release within the coming month.

That video Arael posted is pretty good quality. You can see details much better in this one. The Rocket on the left looks dopey as heck. I'm guessing these are the two admins and two executives, male and female of each. I gotta say the execs look very Galactic-ish.
I also don't remember seeing the quick scene of Suicune on the coast and a huge wave raising up last time I saw the intro. I guess that also supports the idea that Suicune has an extended role like in Crystal.

I haven't even seen this new video with Brendan, but from what I've heard on Serebiiforums, he (or whoever else sent him those scans) just used that screenshot showing the male and female characters having a talk in front of Elm's Lab. He got the words in Japanese and then rearranged them to look legit.

Though it didn't look very much like a real magazine, it was sloppy. When this gianblahblahidontfuckingcare posted a video with it, it was darker so it was hard to tell. I officially agree with Arael, and make an embargo against this guy. I don't believe that was the first time he's posted fake stuff. (Or something with no backing / came out of nowhere).
Oh, that gameplay video is a lot better quality then the last one.

The Rocket on the left makes me lol, I hope that's the guy who stole the part from the Power Plant and they're giving him his own sprite. The white outfit is very different and doesn't scream "Rocket", but I still like the designs.
Isn't Steelix supposed to be in the Pokedex in the demo? I really want to see its sprite =(

Yes! It's the "hyuk hyuk hyuk" guy! I was wondering what the hell they were thinking when I saw that guy in the demo. Wow, if that really is him that's a good sign that GF put some decent thought into this game.
I've heard D/P's US demo was in that route west of Jubilife, and the opponent pokémon were all at level ~25, while yours were ~30. It was obviously just for the demo.
So apparently, the old Johto Dex isn't going to be used in these games, according to reports from Serebii. It will probably be very similar, however, he states that Growlithe, Arcanine & Lapras are at a higher number, so something new has been added from either Gen III or Gen IV or both. Maybe the evolutions of the Gen I & II pokemon that we've piled up over the years, but nothing's for certain yet.
This is kind of exciting, since it means we'll have a little more freedom in building our teams!
Lapras was #219, but now is #224. That's 5 down from previous games, so at lease 5 new (to the Johto Dex) pokemon have been added for sure. Growlithe & Arcanine were #127-128, but now they're #129-130, which means 2 of the known 5 additions come before Arcanine, and the other 3 come after it.
Looking at the Johto Dex Order, the most likely additions would be... Gen III or IV pokemon NOT related to Gen I & II pokemon, since there are WAY more of those than 2 before Growlithe! Even if you ignore the baby forms, say, there are 3 evolutions (Togekiss, Yanmega & Ambipom) that would most likely fall before Arcanine, and unless something random that doesn't evolve (like Dunsparce) got moved down for some reason, this wouldn't work.

Before Growlithe (whose number increased up by 2), there are exactly two pokémon that evolve by knowing a specific move, Yanma and Aipom. Between Growlithe and Lapras (whose number increased by 5), there's another three pokémon, Tangela, Lickitung and Piloswine. It fits pretty nicely, in my opinion.
Where would these pokemon evolve at? Sure, maybe Mt. Silver or something, but that is at the end of the game iirc. Anyways, I am hoping Steelix is available in rock tunnel.
Yeah, people over at Bulbagarden were saying this as well, and I think it fits. I wasn't thinking of this originally, since I was trying to think in terms of JUST babies or ALL of the new evos, and not just 5 that evolve by attack move.
Sounds like Whitney ought to have at least one new Pokemon, and Pryce too.
All the others - like Leafeon, Mismagius, Bonsly, Magnezone, et all - will likely wait until after you travel to Kanto.
Quick question, how do you know Suicune will be stationary?
This is really awesome, but I've got to admit, I'm a bit disappointed they didn't revamp the original intro. I guess it's a bit too outdated and uninformative, but the little charm the old intro had would've been worth it.
Also, can somebody show me a link to where everyone's getting the new johto pokemon art?
It is up to the viewer to guess whether it is real or not, people need to be questioning everything, then we wouldn't have this problem(which is global, not just pokemon related).
Don't forget about giancarloparimango11 as the primary source on Youtube. Although, he announced recently that some of the stuff he's gotten recently aren't from his official sources so he can't confirm that they're real...
