Do ice moves get extra power under hail condition?
like fire in sun / water in rain.
I have absolutely no idea why my IV Checking code is so screwy on Pearl... I find myself having to scroll through the pokemon's menu multiple times to get a result in my tms and quite often, the IVs shown aren't even of the pokemon I'm viewing... The only way that seems to work is isolating the pokemon with the move option in my PC and checking it again, but for the last two years, this hadn't been a problem... What can I do?

This is my truly last question, I promise!
What is it with this 2HKO and OHKO business? How is it determined?
I've been having trouble with RNG reporter..or I guess just RNGing in general. Today I've been trying to RNG for a shiny Eevee, and I kept messing up. The natures were all wrong when I used the pc box R/L paddle button glitch thing. now I just thought it was cause I counted wrong. But then a miracle (for me) happened. I got a count of 6 happiness checker double taps and 4 coin toss taps. I KNOW I counted right. When I hatched the egg, it was a normal Eevee (-.-) Is there something goin' on here? I checkked my SID and ID and all checks out.
Which of the following moves are effected by magic coat:
-dark void
-substitute
-swords dance
-encore
-stealth rock
-taunt
-roost
EDIT 2: I do have a question of my own, though. Why is there no Little Cup ladder? Is the only way to find Little Cup matches to challenge?
Just dark void.
An OHKO is a one-hit knouckout, meaning that a Pokemon knocks another out with only one attack. It's dtermined by the attack (or special attack) of the attacking Pokemon, and HP/defense (or special defense) of the defending Pokemon. There's a formula I would give you a link to, but I'm not on my laptop. For example, if Tyranitar uses Pursuit on Alakazam, that's always going to be a OHKO just because Alakazam is as physically frail as you can get.
A 2HKO is similar; it's when a Pokemon has to use two moves to knock another out. This is important for knocking out walls. You hit them once when they switch in, then again the next turn, and they die before they can status you or heal (it also means you're doing more than 50% damage, so you're doing more than they can Recover off).

Are you wondering what they mean? To 2HKO a pokemon is to kill it in 2 hits, and to OHKO is to KO it in one hit. It is basically just determined by attack and defense, and of course outside factors like entry hazards. Items like Focus sash also change OHKOs into 2HKOs, which are extremely important.

Bulbapedia has the damage calculation and stat calculation formulae. You should be able to rearrange them to figure out what you can nHKO with a certain move and attack, or conversely what can nKHO you with certain defenses. Remember to allow for Leftovers, weather damage, and SR.

Third post of the thread.
Is there a reason that lefties should be used over Black sludge. For poison Pokemon obliviously.
