Short Question:

In Terms of Platinum Battle Frontier: Is it required to Level Pokemon to level 100 to have them utilize all their EVs?

Thanks :)

Nope. It puts them at the level 50 stats if above, so the EV's will have the same effect as a fully EV trained pokemon at level 50.

As far as daycare leveling is concerned, is the Fuego Ironworks trick much less productive than R/S/E's ocean current trick? When I used to perform that one, 24 hours would be about all I needed to get a Pokémon from level 5 to level 100 (IIRC). When I recently did the Ironworks trick, my level 60-something Pokémon only grew about 5 levels in 24 hours. I was using the first warp tile in the building (the one right above of the entrance), and I had nothing weighing down the B button, which I know would help, but I'm not sure how much.

How long does the Daycare man wait for me to take the egg? Will he throw away the egg after a while if I don't speak to him? Or will he stare towards the route forever holding the egg for me?

no, the egg will always be there once it is created

1. so if HP and atk ivs were max (only the two) then it would choose randomly between the two or would it be the one for HP since it's before atk in the list?
2. if a...palkia had 31 ivs for all stats then can its charactersiotics be "likes to thrash about"?

Alright, I'm breeding a buneary for the switcheroo set. I can't RNG but I've managed to get one with a 24/28/28/13/30/26 IV spread and I'm pretty happy with those since I can't RNG. Just wondering if anyone would have a good EV spread I should give that, since it's not perfect IV's I know I'm gonna have to change what jumpman used but I'm not sure how I should change it?

If you have a shiny nincada and evolve it do you get both a shiny ninjask and shedinja, and will both the ninjask and shedinja have the same Ivs and Evs as the nincada did or will only one of them?

Quick question:
How much does a 70 hidden power Grass do to Swampert from Jirachi?
With 0 Spa?
If it doesn't KO ^
How much does it need to KO?

236 Atk vs 216 Def & 404 HP (70 Base Power): 224 - 264 (55.45% - 65.35%)

Needs 252 SpA and Life Orb to KO with SR 75% of the time.

During the ocean current trick, wouldn't you eventually encounter a wild Pokemon that would interrupt it?

Also, weighing down the B button in Fuego Ironworks speeds it up about twice as much.

(Too bad they took out the waterfall trick and the Mach Bike slope trick...)

You could also use the tweaking glitch to do this:

Both will be Shiny. Shedinja inherits IVs, EVs, and everything else from the Nincada.
(One interesting point: If a traded Nincada produces a Shedinja, that Shedinja will be named "SHEDINJA", and cannot be changed unless returned to the OT of the Nincada)

I have a question on alakazam; i've ev'd it in sp.attack and speed. Though when i look at its stats they look horrible(at level 80!). They are sp. attack: 292 speed: 277
Please let me know if the stats are correct or not.

They seem reasonable. Timid Alakazam reaches 296 SpA and 299 Spe, with maximum IVs. If you EV'd it correctly, your Alakazam's Speed IV is 6, which is poor; you really want maximum speed, otherwise you're going to end up slower than things a max-speed Alakazam is faster than, notably Gengar and other Base 110s.

SpA IV is 26, which is perfectly respectable. But honestly, because of the speed I wouldn't use that Alakazam much.

what would you say is generally more useful to fill the position of special sweeper/wall?

Slowking
moves:
Nasty Plot
Surf
Psychic
Slack off/trick room

OR

Slowbro
moves:
Surf
Psychic
Calm Mind
Slack Off

Well, the ocean current trick actually involves exploiting a glitch. There's one tile of land on an island which, if stepped on, will push you back as if you were trying to Surf against current. Surf left from Pacifidlog and navigate towards the Dive spot for the Sealed Chamber, and right before you get there, you'll come across an island that contains the glitched tile. Here's a picture. It should be noticed that the glitch is much more useful in Ruby/Sapphire than it is in Emerald, since in Emerald, you might receive a phone call on the PokéNav that will interrupt your progress if you abandon your game (I woke up to this one time... needless to say, I learned my lesson).

I've never experimented with tweaking before, but I'll take a look of that... thanks!
