Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

Lol, rightttt.
Might help if I'd mentioned that xD
It's Platinum.
Don't worry 'bout it thou, I'm just gonna tough it about and try to check it :P
I've successfully done it about 3 times now, so I should be ok :3
Yeah, it's not worth checking your seed if you can't control the NPCs unless you can check your seed and note all the NPC movements at the same time.

I can't find seeds for Shiny Suicune with 31/31/31/30/31/31 Bold HP Elec 70. I think I've even tried without the Shiny thing and it can't find ANYTHING on it.

Am I supposed to use another tool? Another date/weird years? I can't even get to verify if my seconds/delay are right because I don't have a seed to start with.

edit: I guess this goes for all the other stationary legendaries I'm gonna do, too.

hi, I'm new to RNG and need some help for delay and frame. I usually get delays of 598-616 so I've set delay on 606. When I tried to reach it, I ended up with 598 and if I try to reach 598 I get 618
I followed mingot's guide and set date so that journal opens when I press continue. I do enough page flips but never reach my target frame. I believe NPCs mess it up as I'm not fast enough to get the egg before they move.
Any tips/ideas?

There is a hex flawless spread on frame 26, I'll edit it into this post when I get to go to the computer I normally use which has PokeRNG as it is the last spread I searched.

When I trade and my Journal says

" Got Ralts from Adschi "
Will that advance my Frame by 2?

No. Nidoqueen always hatches Nidoran-F and Nidoking always hatches Nidoran-M.
Therefore Nidoran-M has no Egg moves available, Nidoran-F does though.

Xyra: from what I know, no it doesnt, only defeated or captured pokemon advance the frame by 2.

also I was wondering which store in DPPt has the least number of moving npc's to make it slightly more easier for me to RNG jirachi there :P

Something with Pikatimer is confusing me.

I want to abuse Jirachi.
My Seed is: 52140289.
It says my roaming Pokémon location I have to hit is: R30 E42 L20.

My problem is that Raikou and Entei matches the routes, but Latias don't. Even when I didn't hit my seed I check which seed I've hit and then I can see a seed that matches Raikous and Enteis route, but the Latias isn't correct...
I don't call Elm for checking my seed. When I'm abusing Eggs I just take a look at their routes and it's just fine.

Anyone know what this could be?

Anyone?
I've tried different things but nothing seems to work. =/

edit: nvm.. I just found out what I did wrong.

Used the wrong terminology, if anyone's wondering about the quote. Anyway, why would setting the clock back help me get the right delay?

Hi, I'm doing an RNG breed in SS, and am RNGing for nature for the first time (previously I've just used the normal Everstone method, but decided to switch to RNG after 50 Eevees came up wrong...) So in RNG Reporter I've gone into the shiny egg tab under time finder, put in the nature I want (Timid), put random numbers in the ID/SID boxes as I don't want it shiny, and picked a seed with a frame of 1. I've then gone through the process of hitting the correct delay, verifying my seed with Elm calls, riding around til the egg turns up, saving before picking up and then hatching and every single time it's been the wrong nature! I used one seed twice, then a different seed altogether, and it still didn't work - I never received any phone calls while riding around, and didn't think there was anything else that could get in the way. I've checked and re-checked the guides and videos and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong...can anyone shed some light on my predicament? I've RNGd IVs before and it's worked fine...

in simple terms: setting the clock 1 year later = 1 delay less

since IMO missing within 4 frames is simply roll of the dice and there is a chance of frame skipping.

adjusting to 2006 then you can hit your target delay in 643 frames

It doesn't change the delay you are hitting, it changes the delay of the seed. So the delay of the seed increases as you move the year back. So move it back four from 2010 to hit 643. Move up up four and your delay would be 8 off.

Alright. Pretty consistently hitting the same delay now. Problem is it's the wrong delay.

Aiming for 639, getting 643. Guessing I should aim for a different "Total Change" on the PikaTimer. Trial and error isn't working for me. Could anyone help a bit?

When you input "other delay", it changes your second timer, and you have to adjust your first timer, because now your first timer + second timer make 01:00,87 when you want it to be 01:00
Here you hit your correct second, but it might bug you

Anyway, try and start from the scratch with "518" as calibrated delay without inputing any other, I found that it always gave me the correct adjustment

@moussaka : are you sure that none of your parents is holding an everstone or a "power item" ? and that you didn't check "international parents" (if your parents aren't)

Alright, I see. I'll try this in a while, and if that doesn't work I'll try Xileh's suggestion.

No, neither of the parents were holding items. I didn't check the international box, and I'm pretty sure the Ditto I'm using isn't an international one...
