Skippy: Have you tried looking at the youtube videos posted by either bearsfan or SparkTEHFuze? They're insanely helpful and is done step by step on RNG reporter.
Basically, for breeding, seed finder is used to help you get nature/gender/ability and to determine your starting frame.
Time Finder is used to get shininess (if you want to go the easy route - seed finder can also give shininess but you'll be tapping like crazy) and to determine IV (soft reset part). The main page is used in conjuncture with seed finder mostly.
I have upped it at my web, http://www.x-treem.nl/PokeRNGDP.exe
Correct Nevada, but you don't even have to do that.
-Journal is open to a caught pokemon - 10
-flip to the next page - nothing
-flip back to the first page - 12
-press start and mash A to get your egg
Shady: Which part of RNG are we doing? You normally record the time in which you hit continue.
the spread you want is on frame 87 ignore the actual frame for method k pokes like mewtwo.I'm trying to catch a flawless Timid Mewtwo with the seed D2140289, and it says: Frame 87 Actual 114. Does this mean the spread is on frame 87 or is it 114?
This is all kind of confusing for me...
Thanks, I also want to know is it possible for the egg to match your seed (the ivs you want) but the coin flip sequence doesn't match the coin flip sequence of your seed on the time finder? Even if I may get the coin flip sequence incorrect, I feel sometimes I should still hatch the egg just in case
Not really - I've never come across this problem. The coin flip will match if you hit that specific spread.
You should always hatch the egg to check though (imo). The reason for this is to at least verify your adjacent results to see what you actually hit. For example, if your wanted delay is 612 and you keep hitting 608 or something, then it's probably an indication that you should switch your min/max delay to that result or adjust pikatimer. A similar example can be said of for frames as well.
