Pokemon Black and White (SPECULATIONS ALLOWED HERE)

EDIT: On closer inspection, it's not, but it's a damn god fake regardless.
It's actually a pretty bad fake

1) Abilities aren't supposed to be revealed in kanji
2) Desukaan's first type is Rock, but instead of "Iwa", it shows "Rock". GF had no history of changing the Japanese names of types.
3) Like the above, Moguryuu's type is "Ground", not "Jimen", the Japanese name for Ground type
4) Moguryuu's ability is Lightningrod (which actually uses the same "englishification" as the types =/). In one triple battle video, Shimama attacks its partner, Tsutarja, with an electric attack, so it couldn't have been LightningRod
5) Swift Swim is shown as "Swim Swift" as opposed to "Suisui"

Love that. Should also try to avoid spoilers now, especially since I want to Nuzlocke the first time through... That'd be intersting. :D

But I really doubt we wont find Pikachu Pre-E4...

Pokejungle just posted this video. Shows Shikijika and some pokemon musical footage!

The most interesting thing in this is that Shikijika has energy ball. This shows a couple of possibilities; if it learnt it on level-up, then it's definitely a grass type, as only grass types get energy ball on level up. By TM, on the other hand, is a different matter. If it learnt it by TM, then it means that energy ball's making a return as a TM in B/W, which could mean that there's little to no change in TMs between DPPt and B/W.

I guess nobody mentioned it, but Mijumaru / Wotter / DerpDerp is able to learn Revenge. Currently Revenge is not widely-spread and mainly Pokémon of the Fighting type are learning it. The only non-Fighting Pokémon that can learn Revenge can be divided into two groups:
-the "unfriendly" ones, storing their anger (Pinsir, Qwilfish, Cacturne, Weavile)
-Revenge is fitting their theme of being slow and waiting for their opponents to attack (Hippo, Forretress, Regigigas)

Mijumaru doesn't fit in neither group, but it doesn't proof that Mijumaru will be Water/Fighting, as Revenge may become a widely spread move. Still, seeing Mijumaru's samurai-like evolution and the fact that it learns Revenge make me believe that Mijumaru will evolve into a Water / Fighting.

By the way, Pikachu will be of course in B/W, but not in the Isshu Dex, as the Isshu Dex will only contain new Pokémon.

Does not compute. Shikijika could easily be a Normal-type and still learn Energy Ball by level up. There's a first time for everything.

Also, if items are transferable from old games along with Pokémon, then all the old TMs must still be present. There will probably just be a bunch of new ones tacked onto the end of the list.

I sincerely doubt that. Gamefreak's always been one for patterns.
Pokemon that learn energy ball by level-up are treecko, lotad, lileep, cradily, shaymin and shaymin-S. It's a very select few already and I really doubt that, if it does learn it by level up, it'd be anything but grass type.

I think we can all guarentee that Pikachu stays right!?
I guarentee you that Kormori is the new Zubat
If it doesn't stay in, I would have a hard time thinking of the games as pokemon. Atleast RSE put it into the safarii zone.
But here's a thought, will we be able to catch gen 1-4 pokemon post E4 like normal? And if so, then maybe alot of the good old pokemon will be avaliable too.

They could always add extra rules preventing you from attaching TMs to your Pokemon when transferring.

Or they could have some "magic TM converter" or something lol

Something tells me they're just going to add more TMs like they did from gen 3 to gen 4, as much as I don't want to see 150+ TMs. So it would probably just get Energy Ball via TM like Stantler can.

150 TMs is just too much for one game in my opinion. The 100 or so TMs in 4th generation was okay, but 150 would be a pain. Plus, that means you're going to be getting a TM for almost anything you do in game.

I don't think an additional 50 TMs would be to many, I would keep some TMs and add new ones pre-E4, but you can't obtain the rest of the TMs until National Dex time (transferring or obtaining in-game), similar to the plan for the Pokemon.

I just saw this, but it made me think: if that rumor is true, 151 pokemon in the dex? Routes restarting at route 1? Isshu extremely far from the first four regions? I am really starting to think that ALL the pokemon in the Isshu dex may be completely new evolutionary lines! That still does leave room for evolutions of previous pokemon, who would be available after you get the national dex, but still! If that is the case, these games are going to be pretty badass, going back to the days of Red and Blue (and Green and Yellow, for all you nitpickers) like that.

Predicted!

Also, as I said here the luvdisc evo and all the new evolution will likely become available after you get the national dex.

Furthermore, here's what Gamefreak director Junichi Masuda stated today:

今回のブラック・ホワイトでは、エンディングまで、すべて新ポケモンです。新ポケモンしか飛び出してきません!
This time in Black and White, there's new Pokémon till the end. Only new Pokémon come out!

So basically it's all new mons until the national dex.

If it hasnt been totaly disproved already, I really hope these scans are real. The Chimecho evo is amazing and so is Denchura, But the design for Sarcophoghost is a epic fail.

Or the old TMs could be 4th gen exclusive, as well obtained through certain means similar to the older MMBN games allowing for people to obtain older battle chips than their version.

Where is Chiraami's (or Munna's) stat spread? I can't seem to find it, and I want to do a reverse calc with and without STAB on energy ball. Seeing how much it did to Munna, I would guess that it is not very high, and if we get a ridiculously low base stat value with STAB then that means it is likely not Grass-type.

I really don't understand this weird fetish people have with Pikachu being in all the main games. It's a really boring Pokemon, and unless you're one of the die-hard anime fans, you should probably be wondering what the hell Pikachu is doing in every game. We already have our Pokemon Yellow version, let's move on people.

Pretty good fake if you don't know Japanese.

The best part about that fake was people thinking there was a Duskull prevo, when his stats can't go any lower, and the prevo has two eyes.

It's not abotu a weird fetish, it's about what GF does. Until now, Pikachu's always been there Pre-National. Why would they change that? Pikachu is the iconic Pokemon that has been in every generation since the first one. It's not a Zubat or some unknown (albeit useless) Pokemon. It's the mst well known Pokemon there is.

In the Pokemon Musical video, it appears the costumes don't appear when the sprite is facing the back. That's kind of lame. :]
I'm sort of curious about what you actually DO in Pokemon Musicals. Do you even do anything besides dress the Pokemon up? That doesn't sound very exciting, at least not to me. Then again, I really liked RSE's Pokemon Contests, so I'm a little biased towards Super Contests and the rest of its replacements.

I'm sure there is some kind of interaction on the bottom screen. They haven't shown the bottom screen in any of the videos.

Victini's ability victory star seems like it would be overpowered if it raised all 5 stats upon a KO, though it is a possibility. I would guess it will be a special attack variation of earthquake spiral (The ability that the sand crocodile has). Though it could also be different than any ability we have seen before.
