Technically, in G/S, you can't get it until after you beat the Elite Four, as it's only found in Kanto. I can easily see them having no existing Pokémon until the National Dex is unlocked.

The most interesting thing in this is that Shikijika has energy ball. This shows a couple of possibilities; if it learnt it on level-up, then it's definitely a grass type, as only grass types get energy ball on level up. By TM, on the other hand, is a different matter. If it learnt it by TM, then it means that energy ball's making a return as a TM in B/W, which could mean that there's little to no change in TMs between DPPt and B/W.

Gee, I wonder how Pokémon like Rayquaza or Wailord are going to work out in those dancing stages.

As for the TMs and their trading, what's stopping the game from treating them just as TMs and not actually moves? For example, if you grab Focus Punch, the games will treat it as TM01 the whole time until you "boot" it. Maybe when you trade TM01, it won't be the same thing over there.

Then again, in Gen. 4 they merely expanded the number, so I'm probably missing something here.


And I'm going to laugh so hard if Wuvdisc isn't related at all to Luvdics, rather being something like a stat swap.

We get to see only Gen 5 Pokemon until we get the National Dex? Eh, it's not that bad of an idea. Good riddance to those annoying old Pokemon, like Tentacool and Geodude. That means we get a Dex full of new Pokemon, pretty cool.

This is the best part of these new games,no more walking two steps then screamin, STUPID F-ING ZUBAT! atleast these new annoying Pokemon will amount to something in their evolutions.
 
Bombiron, you forgot to mention Desukan, Denchura, Hatooboo and the early art for the grass and water starter evos.

Watch, Koromori is going to have stats that are just going to be Golbat's in reverse or something, like 90/65/75/80/70/75 (Cause we already know he has high HP) and then his second stage will have like 130/70/80/90/80/85 and he'll be a fucking beast.

Maybe not, but you will be screaming that at one Pokemon or another in caves.

Anyway, what do you guys think about the nameless bug and swan? I think the bug looks pretty cool, but the swan is pretty meh.
 
It seems we have forgotten about the Dream Smoke - wasn't it revealed that you could find pokemon in the Dream World (I think it featured Leafeon and Pikachu)? Just because you can't find the pokemon in the wild doesn't mean you can't actually get it - all 4th gen games allow you to get post-E4 pokemon, they simply aren't registered in the dex until then.

The swan is weird because there's two pictures with two different "personalities". The dance one shows it happy and friendly while the other official one looks pretty angry and sassy.

I think the reason they're cutting the old pokes is too kinda reboot the series. Let's be honest, even this generation is pushing the limit of how many total pokemon there are. +600 is alot. They're setting the region away from the rest, resetting the routes and doing alot of unconventional stuff that has never been in any of the other games. That's probably why they're dumping brock in the anime too. Generation V seems like a good place to introduce a new "pikachu" and a new series of games.
 
Didn't the last batch of info reveal a promotion that is currently going on regarding Eeveelutions and the Dream World? I remember that how well you do the game online determines which Eeveelution you'll get for when the game comes out.

I think they mean in the wild/used by trainers in game. we already know you can get a Pikachu in the dream world, and since Luvdisc obviously got an evo, that means other Pokemon can get evos to, albeit only after the National dex.
 
It would seem like a waste of time on GF's part to create more than a couple non-legendary Pokemon that are totally invisible until after the main portion of the game, especially since they're producing such a buttload of new Pokes this gen.

Gliscor, Probopass, Gallade, Lickilicky, Leafeon, Glaceon, Togekiss, Magnezone, Tangrowth, Yanmega, Rhyperior, Dusknoir, Porygon-Z, Electivire, Magmortar, Mamoswine, and Froslass were not in the Sinnoh Pokedex in Diamond and Pearl. They could easily do something like this again.
 
So we've seen roughly 30 out of 150 or so? That means there's still plently of new things to come out as well. I can't wait to see the evolutions of Tsutarja. I'm hoping it ends up as a Grass/Dark type just because it'd be cool.
