Chlorophyll Leafeon would be the shizz.

Honestly, I'm kind of bummed to see Sandstorm getting so many buffs. Hail and the Ice type in general need a lot of help. The easiest way to counter sandstorm would be run it yourself or use a rain team. In which case water types are going to be even more popular.

Hey, maybe UberTar might become a reality in that case. :naughty:

Hence buffing Ice by making it the only freaking viable damaging field effect.

I would love a chlorophyll Leafeon; or I can see it with Herbivore. I like all weather conditions, so I'm ok, but I really hope they improve hail a wholeeeeee lot. Swift Swim ice version would be amazing.. and I personally don't mind all the water types, they are my favorite :D

Swift Swim for Hail would be epic. 100% accurate Blizzards being fired off by Pokemon like Glaceon. Sure, Steel-types resist it, but Choice Specs Glaceon does 56.6% - 66.5% to CB Scizor with Blizzard. Choice Scarf Heatran? 26% - 31%. That's fucking insane.

EDIT: Oh wait, Ice Body is already confirmed for Glaceon...

@those thinking that Sandstorm is going to be overpowered, remember Rhyperior in pre-dp:

115/130/55 defenses (but his Sdef is boosted by sandstorm and he've got solid rock to help against SE hits) and 140 Base Attack. Add one of the best offensive combinations for STAB and 2 100BP Stab moves (Stone Edge and Earthquake) and BAM!, you have an ultimate uber.

He is at low OU now, isnt him?

Rhyperior is UU.

That's epic. Yeah, bad thing Ice Body was confirmed, not a bad ability, but I want a Swift Swim for hail.. maybe Mamoswine and Abomasnow could rape, I mean Choice Band Abomasnow and that thing is gonna destroy your whole team

Worse, he's top UU! Which is funny, seeing as his pre-evolution was OU for all of RBY, GSC, and the beginning of Advance.

Ice Body is alright on Glaceon, it essentially makes its Stealth Rock weakness the normal 12%, like Heatran or Tyranitar.

Sand Throw is cool, but I doubt it would be game-breaking given the low speed of Rock types. If things like Gorebyss can be outsped by pokemon holding a Scarf, I'm sure the same is true of these, and Ground/Rock types have more weaknesses.

Sand Power will probably be a 1.5 boost, which is cool. Rain > Sand, though, since in the case of the former, the Rain itself is what boosts the move's power which allows you to have BOTH the power and speed. Sandstorm does not do this, not to mention that Rock/Ground/Steel types have some common weaknesses and are often easily outsped.

On another note, it looks like you get a summary of what all you've done in the dream world. That video posted earlier showed Pokabu, items collected, berries collected, and pokemon met, it seems. I saw Sentret, Farfetch'd, Togepi, Miltank, Pikachu, and Growlithe.

Well the balancing factor is Sand Power boosts Ground-, Rock-, AND Steel-type moves, while Rain only boosts Water-type moves. Pretty much every Ground type gets access to all three types of moves, and they don't have terrible synergy either (only notable resistor of all three is Bronzong). For a possible Ground / Steel, you get double STAB (2.25x) for Ground- and Steel-type moves, but you also gain pseudo STAB for Rock-type moves. Sandstorm itself damages non Rock, Steel, or Ground Pokemon 6.25%, so the extra damage right there is sufficient as well. On top of that, Life Orb is more easily used on the supposed Ground / Steel mole than a Water Pokemon, as it 4x resists Stealth Rock, and is immune to Toxic Spikes and Sandstorm. It's all speculation in the end, but with Tyranitar being an auto-weather inducer, I'd like to think Sand > Rain.

True...but Water alone is better offensively than those three combined. Steel is not a good offensive type and there are quite a few pokemon immune to Ground, though the Rock/Ground combo is still pretty good.

Assuming that only Ground types get access to Sand Power, I could see them having trouble with things like Gyarados, Salamence, Celebi, Shaymin, Flygon...and bulky waters in general, making them easier to deal with. Only time will tell I guess.

I really do hope so it is speed, that would make me love B&W twice as much
A blogger on 2ch recently said his stats focussed on Special stats - not too surprising when Pokabu and Mijumaru have high attack (very similar to 3rd gen). I would guess 80/70/70/110/90/110 or something similar, ie a Sceptile clone that might have a secondary typing.

Which is why Moguryo's evo, if it turns out to be Ground/Steel, would rape. Being immune to Toxic and Thunder Wave, plus minimal Stealth Rock Damage makes it all that more effective. Last but defintely not least, both of its amazing abilities which have already been leaked and confirmed, along with a speculated skyrocketting Attack stat, you got yourself a powerhouse right in front of you. :D

who is weak to fighting, ground, fire and idk wtf else, high atack and immune to most status is nice, but he is probably gonne get ohkoed by fire blast/CC/EQ with SR in field or not. unless he get some uber defenses but then he would probably be slow, thus wont outspeed shit like lucario and/or gyara and would get hit by a SE +2 CC or +1 waterfall.

how salamence? stone edge would kill it after stealth rock? Gyara to depending on speed

Oh god
What if Stealth Rocks got a buff from Sand Power

But seriously, what if Sand Power effects both sides of the field? Maybe I'm just being pessimistic, though.

He will definatley be a OU mega attacker, but if he doesnt have good defense, then hes just fodder for Surf or Aqua Jet.

I personally don't see any starter outspeeding Sceptile anytime soon, but I have a feeling Tsutaja's final evo will be pretty similar to him. 110 speed is a bit of a milestone though, it outspeeds quite a lot.
