Endure + Acrobat; I see that happening.
Using Endure to gain a Liechi (I'm assuming Acrobat is physical)/ Salac boost, then Acrobat away
 
Acrobat doubles in power when not holding an item. The monkey has gluttony for early berry consumption . The monkey is meant to use acrobat a berry and gluttony in conjunction

Of course they're going to look more alike if you give Ambipom the same damn color and remove its distinctive tails.
How can you use that abomination to prove that the actual Pokemon are strikingly similar?

We're not talking about Weezing and Gyarados here so yes, they share elements in common.
By that I mean that they are both bipedal with hands, and at least one tail but the details are different.

But for some reason Pokemon fans love to exaggerate similarities.
That's why every new Pokemon looks like an 'evo' of something we've seen already.

 
i think broccoli monkey is screaming for belly drum lol even though the distribution isnt that great gluttony + belly drum + acrobat =win!
 
@deluge; if there was 150 Monkey Pokemon in existance, this wouldn't be happening.
Currently, there's Ambipom line, Primeape line, and Infernape line (forgive me if I missed a few), so of course it looks similar to something.
 
Man, I really hope Yanappu learns Belly Drum. Something like this would be awesome:

Yanappu @ Salac Berry

- Belly Drum
- Acrobat
- Fake Out (all of the other monkeys except Primate learns it, so broccoli here will probably have it too)/ Filler move
- Filler move

Hopefully Gamefreak won't screw his stats up (like Shuckle >_>). I also hope GF introduces a "special Bellydrum" and give it to some monstrous sweeper like Heatran or Yanmega, or maybe even Blissey!

As the others said before I even got a chance to post, Flareon's HP is not high enough to take the recoil from Flare Blitz, especially considering it is Stealth Rock weak.

As ChouToshio previously said, a move such as Blaze Kick would be the better choice.

Yanappu does seem like a pretty cool Grass type. I simply hope it isn't simply a gimmicky 'mon.
 
I came up with an electric fakemon that was a lightbulb with ridiculously high Sp. Atk but atrocious defenses, and it's signature move was a special version of Belly Drum called Shatter haha.
 
I really don't think Acrobat will be that strong even with the no-item boost, since it is a "novel" move and all and does not have STAB. Although a grass move and Acrobat is resisted by all steel types and Zapdos, I guess it will still have some fun value since it is a "new" thing.

Yaaaaay new.

But in triple and rotation battles you have 3 pokemon for coverage, that's a possible total of 12 attacks to choose from.

What resists THAT?
 
Current Consensus is "Probably" iirc

I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that Morning Sun gives Arcanine an edge, too.
