I don't think it does.
I got Pearl 'cause I preferred Palkia to Dialga, and I've always liked Water types. Giratina-O looks better than both of them though, IMO.
Everyone starts off with a different season, though.
Many people are speculating that it'll be like Weather Ball, but with seasons instead of weather. It would make sense, seeing that its supposed to be its signature move... and its the Seasonal Pokemon. o.o;
Are you sure about veryone starting with a different season? Wouldn't it make more sense if every month had a specific season.

Dream World Pokemon? (Serebii): Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Manaphy, Darkrai, and Arceus.
Why would a move change depending on the weather? Because it can. It just makes sense flavor wise for Mebukijika's attack to change just like how its appearance changes.
And its been confirmed that each game starts off in a different season and changes monthly.
Where does it say that? Give me proof.
Unless there's some kind of reverse-rare candy type item introduced in BW, I say we try to convince everyone on Smogon to vote Arceus, so we can finally use normal EV spreads on it (unless they decide to troll us again and make it Lv100... >_>)
Of the dream world pokemon, I don't think any of the starters will be voted on - all of them can be obtained in 4th gen games anyway, and since Kanto starters were released I think it's pretty safe to say that Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh will likely get the same treatment.
Hoenn's legends all have great abilities as is, so I think that the prize should go to one of the pressure legends, hands down. Either that, or Arceus, since getting a fully-EVable one would be awesome.

I think it was on serebii. The demo starts off in different seasons, too, so that each game has a different feel to it and so that you could have access to a wide variety of Pokemon.
But this doesn't really matter... I'm just asking how seasons will work online. I'm sure it'll be random because everyone will have different seasons.
The server will have a month corresponding to a season, that's probably the easiest way.
Nope, it was just for the demos. I don't think the actual game will begin with random seasons for everyone.
They're doing Dream World promo and letting people vote in a poll from a pool of Pokemon. The winner of the poll is put into the Dream World. There's a picture of all the above Pokemon with the poster for the poll, so it might mean that those Pokemon are the poll options and only 1 of them will make it in [For now??].
So... you think every game will have and start off with the same seasons? You know there are different time zones and stuff throughout the world, right? :/
I'm pretty sure there will be random reasons for everyone, so that people can buy more than one game or are forced to trade with friends/online to get Pokemon that appear in a season they currently aren't in. It just makes sense.
And this still isn't answering my question. I guess I'll just wait until the games come out. 5 more days! ^_^
At least Pikachu isn't on the list, it'd win with little competition, Uber lovers who understand EVs vote Arcues, competitive players vote randomly for a pokemon they want to get a new ability.

On the season thing, remember G/S/C where Oak would ask you the time at the beginning, maybe the game will just ask you what season it is, or what season you want it to be.

In overall I like those designs of Pokemon in B&W, so I won't complain here. Well, for me most interesting Pokemon may be Dentchura. Electric/Bug is resisted in OU only by Magnezone, Gliscor and Rotom-A if I'm not mistaken. And if Dentchura will have usable special attack (90-100) then it may abuse STAB Thunder (thanks to Compoundeyes and if I'm not mistaken with it it has 92,5% accuracy) and Bug Buzz with good effect. Unfortunately, Game Freak hates bug types for some reason, when Scizor has 500 BST and in overall they have 400-450 most of time. Well, I think stats spread like this would be fine (assuming 450 BST):

SpA 95

I think this would be good enough ;). Good resistances to switch into, enough power to abuse STAB Thunder, STAB Bug Buzz and solid speed. Unfortunately I don't remember Game Freak giving to any Bug Pokemon Calm Mind/Nasty Plot, so I don't think it would chance right now, but who knows ;). Fortunately there's a good possibility for Agility.
Also Basurao and Adaptibility sounds neat ;). Give it Dragon Dance, usable speed and attack + rain and it may be close to being broken :P. Waterfall in Rain would reach... 270 base power if I'm not mistaken.

These guys may not necessarily have new abilities (or at least, I hope so, for Arceus' sake) - otherwise, why would anyone vote for the Kanto starters when we're getting them with new abilites anyway? Of course, if the abilities do change it'd probably be best to go for one of the Pressure guys, though Arceus would still be awesome with the Extreme Killer set, and Mew or Celebi could be interesting with different abilites.
I assume it would use the host's season like it does with all the other mechanics like Hypnosis's Accuracy change from DP to Pt.
I don't see why we can't just let all the different season forms be there at the same time.
You know, you can change the month on your DS. I don't think every game will start with a set season. I think it will go what's installed on the DS. If a person buys the game now in septmber, like me, that person start with that month. If a person would buy it in october it's an other month.
