I haven't read other posts except for spotting what "Weak-kneed" does, so these are all from the top of my head as I go down the list. Took like two and a half hours because I'm insane, or something.
Edit: Okay, that's really long... I'm putting it under tags:
Edit: Okay, that's really long... I'm putting it under tags:
Grass starter - 75/75/95/75/95/113, Grass
Okay, I do love Meganium, but if I was going to improve anything about it then it sure wouldn't have been speed--and I also love Sceptile, but if I was going to improve anything about that then it wouldn't have been defenses. Base 75 is the lowest any starter has ever gone in either attack stat, tied with Torterra's Special Attack. If they were going that far already, they should have just made it a dedicated attacker from one side only. I guess I can appreciate the unique Speed tier and it could be a better Subseeder than most if it has the movepool for it... but eh. We'll see, maybe.
Fire starter - 110/123/65/100/65/65, Fire/Fighting
Slower than Blaziken with lower Special Attack than Infernape? Please. :/
Water starter - 95/100/85/108/70/70, Water
Stats are fine, type is the problem. Empoleon can tank physical hits without great physical Defense because of its Steel type. 95/85 on the physical side isn't that far removed from Swampert's 100/90, but Swampert's boosted heavily by its type. Not really seeing a niche for this thing. It needs to capitalize on both atack stats since it can't compete with the likes of Starmie and Empoleon on Special Attack alone or with Gyarados on Attack alone.
Musharna - 116/65/85/107/95/29, Psychic
On the special side it takes hits better than Hypno, on the physical side it takes hits better than a large majority of Pokemon, and it can also attack really hard. Very, very nice. It's actually kind of like Slowbro or Slowking except even slower (!) and without Electric or Grass weaknesses, but also no Water, Ice, and Steel resistances. I suppose you could say it's harder to switch in, but easier to keep in. Like those two, I think it's going to need some kind of recovery to keep pace.
Kenhorou - 80/105/80/65/55/93, Normal/Flying
I need to see a movepool. The stats are in the right enough places that it might just barely work out on par with Swellow, although it would need some incredible options to come even close to Staraptor.
Zeburaika - 75/100/63/80/63/116, Electric
Mixed Ambipom? I don't think I'd use anything with defenses like that, but we'll see what others do.
Gigaiasu - 85/135/130/60/70/25, Rock
As far as trade evolutions go, this is a huge step up from Golem, if only because it has base 25 more Attack and no pair of 4x weaknesses. Think I'd still take Rhyperior, though.
Kokoromori - 67/57/55/77/55/115, Psychic/Flying
There went any chance I had of wanting one of those. Hope those stats are wrong somehow. :/
Doryuuzu - 110/135/60/50/65/88, Ground/Steel
88 speed on a Ground/Steel-type? I'm so using this thing. It doesn't come without its price in the weaker defenses, but Lucario gets by fine with a lot worse on that front. With 135 Attack backing it up, I don't even need Sandstorm to kick its abilities in. It's already unbelievable.
Nageki and Dageki
120/100/85/30/85/45, Fighting
75/125/75/30/75/85, Fighting
Nageki's 120/85/85 defenses with Guts and 100 Attack basically trades Machamp's raw strength for even better durability, so I see great potential there.
Dageki, on the other hand, has the Attack and Speed of Heracross--but worse HP and Special Defense, no double STAB, no Guts, and no Ground or Fighting resistances (though at least it resists Rock). I can't imagine that one being used much without some incredible moves.
Hahakomori - 75/103/80/70/70/93, Bug/Grass
If only Bug/Grass were better attacking types... 103 Attack and 93 Speed aren't shabby, and it can come in on Earthquake over and over, so there's that.
Warubiaru - 95/117/70/65/70/92, Ground/Dark
92 Speed on a Ground-type that isn't Dugtrio, with Earthquake Spiral. When this Pokemon was first revealed, I thought I'd always take Intimidate over Earthquake Spiral because I figured it would be another slow Ground-type who wouldn't get to make use of the Attack bonus very often, but 92 Speed completely changes that dynamic. Great contender. Water, Ice, and Fighting attacks are all excellent and will keep it in check. It's not Infernape-level frail, but it's not as safe as it might like to be either.
Hihidaruma and Daruma mode
105/140/55/30/55/95, Fire
105/30/105/140/105/55, Fire/Psychic
Normal form gets a boost from the 95 Speed. With more 88+ Speed Ground-types running around I wouldn't boost defenses over maxing Speed, but when you hit both hard and fast (unlike Marowak, Medicham, and Rampardos), you're fine.
Daruma mode would be incredible if there was a way to get into it easily; 105/30/105/140/105/55 is more like the kind of setup that the Fire starter should have had. I almost wish its stats were flipped with the normal form so that it starts off with high defenses at full HP and then becomes faster and stronger when it's been beat up, but maybe that would be too good.
Zuruzukin - 65/90/115/45/115/58, Dark/Fighting
Now here we do have a slow Pokemon with Earthquake Spiral. Dark/Fighting is a great typing and 65/115/115 is a good defensive setup, so it should be able to get away with it.
Shinboraa - 72/58/80/103/80/97, Psychic/Flying
Not as bulky as fellow Magic Guard user Clefable, and with a load of weaknesses dragging it down stall-wise, but it can actually do damage and outrun things, and it has a better immunity than Ghost to go along with a nice 4x Fighting resistances. These stats on a Psychic/Flying were my hope for the bat, but oh well.
Desukaan - 58/50/145/90/105/30, Ghost
It's a special attacking Dusknoir and I love Dusknoir, so we're more than good to go. An even better ability too, as much as I appreciate the way Pressure trashes Stone Edge.
Abagoora - 74/108/133/83/65/32, Rock/Water
Relicanth Mark II, not much better than Relicanth Mark I. :P
Zoroark - 60/105/60/120/60/105, Dark
Faster Lucario with worse defenses and a better ability. 105 is an interesting Speed tier since that will let her fake people out as a decently wide range of Pokemon.
Rankurusu - 110/65/75/125/85/30, Psychic
Two good Magic Guard users in one game! This one's significantly bulkier than Clefable, which is scary for stall teams, and hits even harder than Shinboraa. It can't outspeed much of anything, but I don't see that being a huge issue.
Mebukijika - 80/100/70/60/70/95, Normal/Grass
I can't say I wasn't hoping for more from the deer. Even just another base 25 placed in--well--any stat would do wonders for its viability on paper. 120 Speed could have been cool, or 95 Defense, or 85 Special Attack to be a mixed attacker, or 105 HP... anything. Anywhere.
Shubarugo - 70/135/105/60/105/20, Bug/Steel
I wondered how they were going to do a Bug/Steel to differentiate itself from both Forretress and Scizor. Well, here we go. Improve Scizor's Attack, split Forretress' defenses, and... make it move like a Shuckle. [Edit: Make that Torkoal. Geez, I forgot just how slow Shuckle was.]
Still, I think this thing has many possibilities. Metagross-level Attack and 70/105/105 defenses with a Steel type would be very tough to render totally unviable.
Burunkeru - 100/60/70/85/105/60, Water/Ghost
Not as good as I was hoping with that unique Water/Ghost type, but then again I was hoping for a lot since I love bulky Waters and bulky Ghosts. It takes special hits right about on a level with Vaporeon and physical hits not too far behind, and has Water Absorb to boot, but can't hit back with particularly strong attacks of its own. Ghosts tend to have cool utility moves, though, so I'm looking forward to this Pokemon.
Denchura - 70/77/60/97/60/108, Bug/Electric
97 Special Attack and 108 Speed with Compoundeyes Thunder (hopefully). Awful defenses, though, so it'll be a difficult switch-in... Interested to see how this will work out.
Nattorei - 89/94/131/49/116/20, Grass/Steel
Yes! This is everything I wanted from our first Grass/Steel. That typing plus top-notch defenses make it instantly one of the greatest tanks of the game as long as it has a movepool to back it up, and I can't see any way that it's not going to have at least some spikes considering how it looks.
Shibirudon - 85/115/80/105/80/50, Electric, Levitate
Like Spiritomb, this is a Pokemon with no weaknesses but balanced the right way: it's so slow that it's going to rack up loads of damage while it makes its impact. Takes hits like Spiritomb and hits harder, but I think it's easier to guard against STAB Electric than STAB Dark or Ghost since almost every team packs a Ground-type somewhere. New awesome Ground/Steel and Grass/Steel Pokemon will also help check this one.
Shanderaa - 60/55/90/145/90/80, Ghost/Fire
Not sure what to think yet. 80 Speed is decent, but not standout. 145 Special Attack is insane. With Flash Fire, it could be given a Choice Scarf and played similarly to Choice Scarf Heatran, but Heatran is backed up by a Steel-type and defenses a whole lot better than this--and fourth-gen also didn't have a pair of 88+ Speed Ground-types running around. I almost think this is a Medicham kind of situation where it can hit very hard, but the trouble will be getting it in. Flash Fire and Fighting immunity do help its cause a lot in that area, though, so it could be very good. We'll have to see...
Ononokusu - 76/147/90/60/70/97, Dragon
And here we are, the first fully-evolved pure Dragon. I can't say I'm that impressed. 60 Special Attack means you only need a physical wall to stop this thing, which is far easier than blocking a Salamence--and Salamence had a better ability than Rivalry and Mold Breaker as far as I'm concerned. It's barely above Infernape in terms of being able to take special attacks, so no double Ice weakness isn't a huge issue.
Opposing Salamence, Latias, and Latios can all outspeed and shoot it down hard with Draco Meteor (and Garchomp outspeeds and will still deliver huge damage on the physical side, and even Flygon would get in one good, strong hit before going down), so I'm thinking it might be crammed out by other fellow Dragons for a similar reason to Dragonite: it would have a more difficult time coming in safely outside of a team member being KOed, and also a more difficult time staying in. All in all, I think this is imposing in its own right, but also that teams have dealt with far worse.
[Later on down the list: Okay, the Dark/Dragon also outspeeds this one and has 125 Special Attack. Again, Ononokusu is toast against opposing Draco Meteor, so using one would be opening yourself up to having to switch against several major opposing Dragons... and that's a problem.]
Agiruuda - 80/70/40/100/60/145, Bug
100 Special Attack and only 115 Speed worked for Starmie, but Starmie can switch in. With 40 Defense, this Pokemon can't even really come in on Earthquake and Close Combat. It can take special Grass attacks, I suppose, and Earth Power, but... it's a tough sell.
Maggyo - 109/66/84/81/99/32, Ground/Electric
Well-balanced defenses and a mediocre attack stat haven't typically been a great combo even with good double STAB (see also: Poliwrath)... This particular double STAB of Ground and Electric is neater than most, though, at least offensively, so it could work. What's weird is that it's better at taking hits than dishing them out, but Ground/Electric retains all the weaknesses of Ground and the one weakness of Electric.
Kojondo 65/125/60/95/60/105, Fighting
Faster, more physically-oriented Lucario without a Steel-type. Movepool will be key to saving it or rendering it moot.
Kurimugan - 77/120/90/60/90/48, Dragon
Even with Encourage, 120 Attack isn't very imposing after all the Dragons we've seen in the past, especially with 48 Speed making sure it'll get blasted by everything and 60 Special Attack, once again, making sure that you only need a physical wall to block it.
Afro - 95/100/95/40/95/55, Normal
Defenses are great, but I sure wasn't expecting 55 Speed mixed with only 100 Attack... Hopefully Herbivore means that it has some good Grass moves so that Rock-types and bulky Grounds like Hippowdon won't wall it.
Wargle - 100/123/75/57/75/80, Normal/Flying
Now that's more like Staraptor. I think 80 Speed is kind of dangerous territory, though... I feel like I need to see Agility or some kind of Speed-boosting move on this Pokemon; it can make use of its decent defenses to set up and then go on an Encourage-powered spree kind of like Metagross. Choice Scarf is the other option. 100/75/75 defenses are on par with Crobat, so Roost should be solid either way.
Barujiina - 110/65/105/55/95/80, Dark/Flying
Anti-Honchkrow, defensive instead of offensive? Eh... 65/55 attacking stats make it like a faster Umbreon in a way, but Umbreon wasn't saddled with Rock, Ice, and Electric weaknesses.
Aianto - 58/109/112/48/48/109, Bug/Steel
Oh, another Bug/Steel. 109 Speed means it can get its hits in, and it does have the physical Attack to do so, but 58 HP and 48 Special Defense is Cloyster-level brutal. Better type than Cloyster, at least, but with that kind of glaring stat weakness you almost need to occupy a niche as successfully as Ninjask occupies Speed-passing or as Forretress occupies spiking...
Sazando - 92/105/90/125/90/98, Dark/Dragon, Levitate
Now here's a Dragon that will be tough. It's decently fast, hits from both sides, won't lose in one hit with those 92/90/90 defenses, and can switch in for free on Earthquake (or Psychic, I guess). Good stuff.
Urugamosu - 85/60/65/135/105/100, Bug/Fire
Wish it had Flash Fire over Flame Body since it shouldn't be taking many physical hits with 65 Defense, but Bug Buzz (hopefully) and Fire Blast/Overheat/Eruption/whatever have good type synergy and are going to sting and burn from 135 Special Attack. 100 Speed is great and this Pokemon can Upper/Lava Plume/Will-O-Wisp the 97 and 98 Speed Dragons before they do anything, assuming it gets any of those.
Fighting Legends
91/90/129/90/72/108, Steel/Fighting
91/129/90/72/90/108, Rock/Fighting
91/90/72/90/129/108, Grass/Fighting
91/72/90/129/90/108, Water/Fighting
The Grass/Fighting needs status moves and/or stat boosts. 90 in both attacking stats isn't punching through walls, screens, or recovery moves on its own. The Steel/Fighting is in the same boat as the Grass/Fighting on Attack stats, but is redeemed by a better typing.
The Rock/Fighting is better off since it focuses on 129 Attack and has good STABs, and 108 Speed is definitely on the high end for Fighting-types. Same for the Water/Fighting, very well off because of its focused Special Attack. I expect those two to be very strong team contenders. The Steel/Fighting might get by on the virtue of being fast, but I don't see much hope for the Grass/Fighting, which I say sadly since I love Grass-types.
Toroneorsu, Borutorosu, Randorosu
79/115/70/125/80/111, Flying
79/115/70/125/80/111, Electric/Flying
79/125/90/115/80/101, Ground/Flying
All three of these have fully unique or mostly unique typing, great offensive stats, and a fully unique or mostly unique Speed tier. All the makings of excellence here. Borutorosu is something of an offensive counterpart to Zapdos--same Special Attack but better Attack and Speed, with worse defenses.
Genosekuto - 71/120/95/120/95/99, Bug/Steel
Incredible Bug/Steel. Download is going to be great on something that's much faster and has much better defense than Porygon-Z.
Okay, I do love Meganium, but if I was going to improve anything about it then it sure wouldn't have been speed--and I also love Sceptile, but if I was going to improve anything about that then it wouldn't have been defenses.
