Smugleaf, if it gets Leafstorm as an egg-move, with this ability might make it a onster in it's own for Little Cup... Wouldn't it?
It learns Leaf Storm by Level Up, so it's possible to bread Leaf Storm Tsutarja.

Snake Coil Abuse
Snake Coil is a cool boosting move - Bulk Up that raises accuracy! After one Coil, both Glare and Dragon Tail will not miss, and Dragon Tail will deal more and more damage as you boost further. Wearing opponents down directly in combination with entry hazards takes phazing to the next level entirely. Anything you feel like taking on directly can be meet with a +1 Leaf Blade or better. Your physical bulk will be very appreciable, even at a mere +1!
Jaroda @ Leftovers
Jolly w/ Overgrow
252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe or 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD or 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
~ Snake Coil
~ Leaf Blade
~ Dragon Tail
~ Glare
Between Glare and Dragon Tail, you can choose to forgo Speed for Special Defense if that's your thing. This has the potential to be a horrifying boosting sweeper or an obnoxious bulky phazer, your choice. You can even focus primarily on Glare; Paralyze and phaze, repeat for each unparalyzed foe you phaze in. Your first Coil comes from the switch to a x4 Grass resist to soak a bluffed Perversity Leaf Storm; whom you can promptly paralyze or phaze at your leisure.
edit: did I mention just how fucking awesome this guy looks I mean seriously this guy has outrageous swagger about him

Heh, I posted a set almost exactly like this in the Dragon Tail thread a couple of days ago, except I used 252 HP / 88 SpD / 168 Spe, Jolly, in order to outspeed Jolly Garchomp. There are other targets you could go for, Base 108s seem quite popular, or go whole hog for the Base 110's with 252 HP / 16 SpD / 232 Spe.
believe it smuglord is one of the pokemon that get troubled by enviroment around it the worst. +6 leaf strom dent everything not 4x resist it but the pokemon that 4x resist it is too popular(heatran ? Natrei ?)
Uh, may I suggest a set here? Even though Ninetales gets Drought to summon permanent sunlight, I found that Jaroda is also a good Sunny Day lead if you don't feel like using Ninetales:
-Taunt
-Sunny Day
-SolarBeam
-Hidden Power (Fire)
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe or 252 HP/4 SpA/252 Spe
Item: Heat Rock
Ability: Overgrow
Taunt is there so that other Pokemon can't set up on it. Sunny Day puts the sunny weather in effect. SolarBeam is for STAB and works hand in hand with Sunny Day; Hidden Power (Fire) also benefits from Sunny Day. The EVs can be tweaked to make Jaroda more bulkier, but I'm not sure on which spread.
I'd prefer running it on a Rain Dance team, tbh. Rain removes its Fire weakness. (Sun doubles it) Also, Jaroda doesn't have an ability that can take advantage of the sun. (such as Chlorophyll) Leaf Storm has 40 higher BP (after STAB), and coupled with Perversity is superior to Solarbeam.
I would run the Sub / Seed / LS / HP Ice set on Rain teams.
Deck the only issue I see with your spreads is that it takes a long time to coil up to a useful Atk without any investment at all. tbh I don't see the merit in putting anything into his SpD because most things hitting it from that side of the spectrum are just going to OHKO or 2HKO it anyways.
At +6 it can always just run HP Fighting for those guys.
80 Jaroda +6 (Hidden Power Fighting)
vs. 0/4 Naive Choice Scarf Heatran : 114.6% - 135%
80 Modest Jaroda +6 (Hidden Power Fighting)
vs. 252/6 Bold Leftovers Nattorei : 96% - 113.1%
Of course that is all dependant on Jaroda being able to set up and not getting stopped by super effective attacks or status, as your opponent will be doing everything they can to stop it before it gets too powerful to stop. Ergo it would be good to use other pokemon to scout for and destroy counters to Jaroda or protect it before sending it in.Are you frickin serious ?????? 80 Ev is just hmm +20 stats in offense which means its only start at 220 so its practicable with Timid with more EV
wow to think that Jaroda could be this good is out of my imagination
Not to mention +6 on him is easy and baiting heatran and Natrei can be easy(use dragon to bait scarftran using pulse switch to magnezone
and profit same as natrei but with different bait)
Jaroda is such an Gra**hole with only 3 pokemon can reliably wall him IIRC Hetran Natrei(doesnt threaten) and Crobat
Why all this hype over dragon tail? Doesn't that move have negative priority like roar/whirlwind? Jaroda's best features are it's speed, ability(both of them are good IMO), and bulk, wouldn't that mean using a set made to dragon tail phaze somewhat contradicting?
I like this pokemon alot but it's not like it can't easily be OHKOd by fire/bug/flying/ice type moves. With Blaziken getting speed boost how many turns will it take before he outspeeds? Hihidaruma has a 140 base attack and a flare blitz boosted by encourage and stab, this has some popular weaknesses and if you're using a negative priority move you're going to get KO'd fast.
Dragon Tail cannot be taunted... that is all lol. It does have some decent damage.
I would say its either going to SubSeed or Leafstorm
Ok, I see you're point but isn't running leech seed when you intend to force the switch wasting a turn and moveslot?

Ha ha, I was thinking the same thing. After learning of how hard Emboar and that Water starter suck, I think my choice of starter is almost cemented at this point.did I mention just how fucking awesome this guy looks I mean seriously this guy has outrageous swagger about him
