I usually try for around 12. It's enough to make sure I can verify my seed even if it gets advanced a couple times before I get to the menu.

Someone else will have to respond to the second part though since I haven't used them.

I believe you can do it, from what I hear it is harder though. (Ninja'd my edit GASP!)

Don't think so. You'll just have to try for a higher delay. If it really takes longer, it may be because it has more to load now, just a guess.

You can but you will have to calibrate when you must press A on the AR to go to the game world.

When you press A to start the game from the AR, that will count as your Reset time, an you press A on the continue screen when you approaching your target time.

re-calibrate to the new timing.

yes, what you need to do, though, is hit the red "start" button on the AR main screen when you would normally soft reset. also, have all your codes already picked out and activated before you get to that point. in other words, if you're gonna do 100% capture, turn it on, start the game, reset the game, and go from there.

Umm.. did you're calibrated seconds happen to change from what you had before? You can't actually have negative delay.

There's some trade off with seconds. I believe it's every second you increase it by, you increase by 60 delays.

Example:

13 seconds 460 delay
14 seconds 520 delay
15 seconds 580 delay

I am using a synch. The seed is 54170460, and I think it's frame 95. You should be able to find it in RNGReporter.

Am I doing something wrong? I've always used a synch and never had a problem until now, and twice in a row too.

Alright, I found out what I was doing wrong here. The hour of the DS (23:58:15) was too close to the end of the hour, and when the clock hit 0:00:00, I think that might have thrown my frame off. Each and every time I RNG'd correctly, I had two Impish natures with the same IVs, and once Calm nature with different IVs.

yeah dude you need to stay away from stuff like that. they will throw everything off.

Well, initially I knew that in the first place when I was learning to RNG. But because I hadn't experienced it before for a month or two, I was entirely unaware of it.

I was keeping track of which seeds I wanted to use for RNGing, but it was so late at night that I forgot the end-of-the-day issue that causes your frames to be thrown off.

I'm simply glad that I at least know what the problem is now. I was really running in circles trying to find out what went wrong.

EDIT: Does anyone know what the Method is for the Latias/Latios Enigma Stone event? K or 1?
 
How does the radio advance the RNG in HGSS? is it (for certain stations) 1 frame per second? I'm a little confused on that, so if someone could VM me about that, I'd be grateful. :) Is there a way to find frames lower than 500 for captures (but still have decent IVs?)?

Everytime you tap and station and detune it successfully; these are the result


Upper left station advance the frame ~0-1
Upper right station advance the frame ~14-18
Lower left station advance the frame ~1-3
Lower right station (while Buena password isnt playing) advance the frame by exactly 1, use this station to advance the frame.

Yes it possible to capture frame lower than 500

Actually when you detune it, it doesn't advance. Only when you start to listen to the station.
Along with the Upper right does 13-14 not 14-18.

It's also possible to frames above 1,000 just more tedious

I thought if you didnt detune it then the any additional tap didnt advance the frame since the station would still be playing.

I did not mean that detuning also advance the station, just that each successful tap and detune of a station would advance the station pending on which station was tapped

Edit: I vm you, I believe we're both right but we're doing things in a different way

Edit: Problem resolve, I was combining steps

No, gender ratios are determined from the PID. The 100% male / 100% female isn't displayed because all PIDs will be 100% that gender for those 100% gender pokemon.

If I run revo, will the uninstall option be automatically available? Cause all I can find in the control panel is the change/remove option.

Is there a quicker way than just hatching eggs to get the nature you want, when hatching a perfect Pokemon from an egg? I think I remember reading somewhere that you can't use Everstones when abusing for perfect eggs - is there some other trick to make it go faster?

Been hatching Bulbasaurs all night ;_;

remove all versions of .net then instead of just 2.0. then start reinstalling from 1.1 on up to 4.0. i don't know what you did to screw up .net so badly, but it's likely the only means of fixing it.

also, did ccleaner find a lot of stuff?

yeah, abuse for the PID, not just the IVs.
 
I was wondering whether it was possible or not to RNG the Shaymin, Manaphy, Deoxys and Heatran in Pokemon Ranger: Guadian Sign? I wanted to ask before I went out and bought the game. Thanks to those who respond:D
 
@Radius: Yes, they can be RNGd. They are considered to be Wondercard Pokemon. :)

Anyways, just want to ask a question guys. How can I advance the RNG or frame on Whirl Islands since the Radio and Phonce Calls aren't working there. I'm trying to RNG capture Lugia anyway. Thanks!! :)
 
So when I transfer them over to my HeartGold version I'll have to pick them up from the man with the green hat at the Pokemart?
 
@Radius: Yep. I also prefer that you picked it on Cerulean or Fuschia City Pokemarts since there are no moving NPCs there. :)
