Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

I was just searching for the hp ice spread 31/30/30/31/31/31 for DragonBoy52

My inputs are hgss or ddpt
then ICE 70
31/30/30/31/31/31
Min delay 600
Max 8000
Max method 1 frame 1000
Max method J frame 1000
Any delay from 2010

I only got 1 result

Edit: I just change the max frame for method j to be 0 and I got more result.
I think it just may be my laptop
I guess I have to experiment with your software a lot more.

0 just implies a max delay, so that explains it. It's a good idea to keep frames and delays at their maximum possible, so you can just dismiss the results you really don't want, unless you're looking for a spread using extremely lenient parameters, of course.

Put in your ID/SID combination, as shinyness is determined from that.
 
hello dude...i had a problem with RNG..

both my parents is 31 IVs on Speed then i hit the seed 31/31/31/B/B/B...
why i got pokemon IVs 31/31/31/31/31/19.....i hit the right seed..

then i put other parents with both iV on 31 too...i got 31/31/31/31/31/26....

sad...:(

Double check your parents IVs. Parent B most likely has a 19 speed IV. Other than that, are you doing this in HG/SS? Did you check off the "HG/SS inheritance" box? Or perhaps you're not playing on HG/SS and you checked off that box anyways?
 
Is there a way to RNG the Red Gyarados at Lake of Rage?
I've been trying to search for anything as I typed "Red Gyarados" under the search tab, but everytime I click search, nothing will happen...but if I try to search for other topics, it appears to be fine.

And for everyone with experience, please help me on RNGing the Red Gyarados.
Is it Method 1, right? Or something else?

I was trying to get this spread for wondercard raikou(DPP)
2A0C029F 31/30/30/31/31/31, Frame 513 (I got this spread from here http://www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/dpp_rng_part5)

Question: Is that the correct frame?? When I checked it on RNG reporter, I input the seed, and that spread is actually at frame 511.

Base on the formula
The formula for "Total required RNG advances" is target frame - number of wandering Pokémon - 1.

I don't have any wandering pokemon, so it will be 513-0-1 = 512 (At this moment, I was still trying to get frame 513, not 511)
For page flip, 512/2 = 256

I did 256 flip, hit the correct delay and seconds.
However, when I check the pokemon spread , I get frame 512
511 Naughty 1/31/30/30/31/31/31 Ice 70
512 Bold 0/31/31/31/26/1/13 Electric 44
513 Gentle 1/13/26/1/9/14/31 Ghost 56

Question: Here I was still trying to get frame 513, after I did 256 flip, the frame weirdly was off by 1 frame, what is the problem here?
From my experience, after you do the (flip*2)+1, like in my case (256*2)+1= 513, even if you are off by 1 frame, the frame usually should be above 513 due to RNG advancemet from NPC, but here the Frame is off by -1, what is the cause of it?

EDIT: For wondercard, we generate the spread with method 1, correct?
 
Why are you going for such a high frame? Looking at the post above, there's the same IV spread with a frame of 29 on Method 1.

And 9 times out of 10, you just miscounted flips. It happens to all of us.

Anyway, how to find the seed for that low frame spread? I haven't been RNGing for 1 year. LoL xD

There ya go. Be sure to check what frame these are in the Wondercard Method. It'll be slightly different.
