5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Okay, so I am looking for a Timid Special Flawless Deino using the Standard Non C gear method. I get my desired seed with IVs, with a frame of 6 (The seed time was exactly the same as earlier today). I walk 128 steps w/ 5 Poke's in my party, and sweet scent at 128th step. I get a Durant with decent IVs, with a couple high in some desired stats, but not one is flawless. What do I do now? And I'm a beginner, can you please speak as clearly as possible? Thank you.

Read the rules. They'll tell you what you should be putting in your post when asking for help.

Ah! Acidentally closed the window, and lost my seed and everything. Guess I'll have to start over...BTW Omega what times are you on? And thanks for the awesome program.

Hey everyone, I'm new but a long-time lurker.
I've started RNGing only a few weeks ago and it's only as of late that I've been having certain complications.

1.) I'm trying to find my starting PID in my Pokemon White, but I can't locate the corresponding sequential natures that are usually on the 40-60 bracket. (Neither is it anywhere close since I've searched through up to 2,000 frames.)

2.) I also have a common issue of hitting a seed with completely wrong IVs that doesn't exist in the Time Finder and neither can it be located through Parameters. It happens like once every 4-5 resets or so. (Those IVs also always remains the same. I know I hit my second and hold button accurately as well and tried looking for it on second after and before, with and without the hold button.)

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find my starting PID?
Landing my Seed is no problem.

Here's the information.

Pokemon White
MAC Address: 0022AA06DA5C

PID:41944 SID:55301

SEED: 3164360D47802CB4
Date: 4-13-2011
Time: 18:51-59
Hold Button: Down
Frame: 1
IVs: 30, 31, 26, 27, 31, 31

(To Test, I went to Route 1 with Lillipups and Patrats with 2 abilities.)
(I've also done this same proccess elsewhere and have gotten the same line of natures.)

WILD
First Frame: Patrat lv 4 Calm (Ability 1) Male (50%M/50%F)

Chatot 1: Patrat lv 4 Impish (Ability 0) Male (50%M/50%F)

Chatot 2: Lillipup 4 Hardy ( Ability 1) Female (50%M/50%F)

NOTES:
I used no Synchronizers.
I use a DS Lite (But started the game on a DSi if that makes a difference?)
I use a Sweet Scenter.
I use RNG Report 9.5BETA.
To try to find the PID, I put my seed on the main page, use Method 5 PIDRNG, press Generate.
Encounter on Wild with my TID and SID inputted.

MAIN QUESTIONS:
1.)Am I doing something wrong in finding my starting PID?
2.) http://eggmove.com/encounterwhite.html are the pokemons aligned here suppose to show on the consecutive frames?

Thanks so much for everything Smogon has done. It's been such a pleasure reading through and learning all the things you guys have invented and figured out. It makes the game far more enjoyable as well. ^^

Taku

Edit: MY APOLOGIES!!!! >_< With the new RNG 9.6, I've located the natures I've been seeking. I start at frame 46. Thank you soooo much!!! <3 I love this place. :D

RNG Reporter 9 beta 6 is out.

Fixed:
- Time Finder progress window displaying the number of searched frames VERY inaccurately
- Time Finder displaying incorrect IVs if the max frame was set to a low number
- Time Finder displaying incorrect IVs for adjacent seed search and lot of other things, actually

Added:
- Time Finder can now search for frames that are shiny for both Wild and Stationary encounters, which covers eggs and gift Pokemon as well. (NOTE: the frame numbers will not be the same.)
- Support for fishing\shaking grass encounters.

So this version fixed the problem with getting the wrong shiny frame for wild poke's correct?

Thank you Bond697 for the information on timer0.

I have another problem, this time with the parameter process. I load my game up at a time, I put that into the search, I put in my mac address, the version and the DS type, I catch my pokemon, find its IV ranges and input them.

When I finally press search it loads up some searches and spits out nothing.

The only reason I am looking again is because a seed I am trying to get on timer0 C7F and I can never hit the seed. I know that timer0 changes slightly (thanks to Bond697) but I want to know which one I can hit more efficiently.

why don't you set your parameters in the time finder to C7E-C7F? that way you'll have both and can choose from both.

There was never any problem with the shiny frame for wild Pokemon. I think the issue was people kept mixing up the shiny frames for wild Pokemon and gift Pokemon\stationaries. Some are only on wilds, some only on stationaries, and some on both. Time Finder can now search for only the shiny frames that are on both, with the Shiny Pokémon (All Encounters) encounter type.

Regarding ID abuse: Do values "true" under Starter in Pandora's box count only for wild pokemon, or for stationary legends as well?

Alright thanks for clearing that up Omega!

yes i did checked the iv's and the were correct, also i did it three times in a row,got the same roggenrola with the same gender and same level, same nature

Seed: 4bb903f1ce3e08
Time: 13:43:14
Target IVs: 31/30/30/31/31/31
Target Frame: 16
Date: 4/27/2011

Timid Pansage w/Everstone: 31 / 3 / 31 / 28 / 1 / 31
Naive Ditto w/Power Anklet: 31 / 30 / 30 / 31 / 31 / 31

I got this instead:
0 / 23 / 19 / 31 / 31 / 31

Could I plug what I got into Time Finder to see what frame I actually hit?
I've hit the same thing about 3 times now, I just updated the RNG reporter and I'm having trouble finding the adjacent seed.

Well, there's no way it would tell you it was frame 47215 unless you were doing something horribly wrong. Like forgetting to uncheck the Shiny Only box.

Maybe you should try showing us a screenshot.

So, it works for, say, Cobalion and Musharna, but not for Durant, Archen and Tornadus?

Right. Well, 50% of the time it will work for wild Pokemon if you select Stationary, and vice-versa.

I'm trying to get myself a Shiny Venipede in Lostlorn Forest. Encounterslot of my Shiny PID (917) is 5. Already caught Axew with it, so I'm doing it right. But, every time I'm trying to get that Shiny Venipede, all I get is non-shiny Swadloon, with the right Gender/Nature/Ability. What am I doing wrong?

I was able to calibrate earlier, but wasn't able to get the Pokemon I wanted.

Now, I'm trying to calibrate again because I abandoned the attempt to catch the previous Pokemon. This time however, nothing is coming up when I search, after inputting all of the required information.

I'm stumped. Please help.

Hey OmegaDonut, I know you said a guide would be written later, but would it be possible for you to atleast write out the calibration steps for Standard Abuse in the OP maybe this weekend? I do want to start that, but I can't follow video guides very well.

Exactly what determines what Timer0 you hit? I've been testing to see what I hit when I don't hit my usual C7C, and it appears that I occasionally hit C7B as well. Problem is, I can't figure out what makes me hit C7B. I've tried different keypresses and even holding the button later than I usually would after loading the game. Still, I hit C7C way more often and when I do hit C7B, I can't figure out why. So I don't know if I should include C7B in my Time Finder searches or not.

IIRC when I asked this before, it's basically that the keypress itself is glitchy or something along those lines, which could lead to hitting adjacent Timer 0 stuff. So just use whatever you hit the most, if you hit the wrong one you pretty much just sigh and redo it again lol.
