Yeah do those calcs instead with a 252 +2 Attack Life Orb Earthquake and Stone Edge lol
This seems like a great set and I feel like incorporating it into a team. I'm thinkin a lead Hippo, a Jellicent, a Landorus (duh) and an Excadrill. Who else should I incorporate?yeah I think OHKOing Skarmory and Hippowdon is the main attraction of this set if you're using it as a lure -- this could break open the opposing team for a clean sweep with Excadrill or Terrakion
Eh anyone got a good move set for Meinshao or Eelektross??

You could also run mixed with Work Up.Forgive me if I haven't been keeping up with Smogon lately, but I was checking over the Simipour thread and saw nothing mentioning these sets...plus I don't know where to get calcs so, um...please don't kill me here?

Simipour (@ None)
Gluttony/Torrent
Adamant or Jolly Nature [Attack vs. Speed; your choice]
6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Acrobatics
Shadow Claw/Crunch
Brick Break/Aqua Tail/Rock Slide
Hone Claws
Acrobatics is a very useful move that can take out several Grass types or Fighting types who may be the bane to Simipour's use. Shadow Claw is mainly to combat Ghosts like Chandelure and Shedinja (And MAYBE Jellicent, though that might be a stretch) who may present a few problems. Crunch can hit Psychic types for nice damage, and can also hit Ghost types, but it soon becomes a problem of which move is better. Crunch has higher base power, and the chance to flinch. Shadow Claw while having lower base power, has a higher chance to do a Critical Hit.
Brick Break can take care of Steel types and Rock Types, though Aqua Tail has the advantage of taking out Fire Types and Ground Types, along with getting STAB. Rock Slide takes care of Fire Types as well, as with Flying, Ice, and Bug types (albeit, unless your name is Shedinja or Volcarona, those are rarely seen). The third slot is mainly for coverage, depending on what you're worried about. And Hone Claws is there for boosting.
I use this set in-game, and needless to say my Simipour is a terror. I go with the Acrobatics/Shadow Claw/Rock Slide/Hone Claws myself, albiet.
As for that Heracross set, it looks interesting, but it seems like Conkeldurr can do it better more consistently with both better coverage and priority. True, the low PP of Megahorn won't hurt as much thanks to Sleep Talk, but... while using Sleep Talk you only have a 33% chance of actually attacking the opponent, which puts you in a tricky position. Still, Guts boosted Megahorn coming from such a high attack without a drawback of losing health is nice :/. It just seems like Heracross is going to get killed before it can do much damage.

Larvesta @ Eviolite
Nature: Adamant
Ability:
252 Atk/ 252 HP
Zen Head butt
Flame Charge
Bug Bite
Morning Sun
Since Larvesta has a better Attack base than Volcarona, I thought I'd create a set in which it uses its superior Attack stat to Stand out. Eviolite puts its defenses on parr (if not better) with Volcarona, and Maxing out its HP gives it a little more survivability. The plan is to use Flame Charge to gather up speed using Morning Sun for HP regen. Bug bite is another stab move and Utility. Zen Head butt for Psychic and fighting Types. This isn't a competitive move set so dont go shouting Oh Kingdra This oh Kyogre that.
1 Trick Ponies, probably posted before, idk.
Well... This set is only available Through Gen 4 so... eh
Umbreon @ Toxic Orb/ Flame Orb
Nature: Impish
Ability: Synchronize
252 Def/ 252 SpD
Protect
Rest
Sleep Talk
Pay back
Protect turn 1, Sync Status, play with it a bit, rest it off, sleep talk
Haxorus @ Dragon Gem
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Mold Breaker
252 Atk/ 252 Spe
Outrage
Dragon Claw
Swords Dance
Protect or W/e
Swords dance First Turn, Outrage goes off @ 200+ BP combined with +1 Attack for two to three turns
Hilariously weak STAB-less moves + piss poor (see what i did thar) Pokemon + no item = all around shit set.
The question is that why the fuck are people using Larvesta in OU in the first place(and I doubt guanlong even wants to use that, despite his Larvesta obssession, given that he does have common sense...)With no way of boosting its mediocre base attack and defence, Larvesta is just gonna be slaughtered as a bulky attacker in any tier thanks to its lack of Leftovers and 10000000000 weaknesses.
With its main niche kicked out of the window, Umbreon is gonna get sent out of OU, so it doesn't really matter. I'd prefer Psycho Shift Sigilyph tyvm. This gimmick is largely outclassed by, well, the slightly large amount of Pokemon that can learn Will-o-Wisp/Toxic. They can even pull it off in one turn while not being completely useless to the team after.
Probably the best set on this page (which isn't saying much) competitive usability wise but really, this type of "creative" moveset is one that you usually expect to find 9 or 10 year olds using on WiFi. Also easily revenged/walled by a huge amount of pokemon.
I'm not entirely sure if I did try out a simipour moveset. however, I did run some calculations and found a specs set to be somewhat efficient. however, as I mentioned, I might have already posted it.
Speaking of specs, I dunno if specs salamence belongs here. I have used it to some degree of success, but whether it's original is my guess. XD
