5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Im am just wondering so I know, do you think you might get DSi's working with standard Non-cgear rng anytime soon? like by the next RNG Reporter release? I am just wondering because I only have a DSi and Cgear is annoying the crap out of me with delay.

Either buy a used DS lite/phat or read the rules again. >_>

Musica, the moment you turn on the c-gear, the moment you lose control of the PIDRNG. C-Gear advances it at an inconsistent rate (hardware).

Third post has been updated to include this.

I'm trying to RNG Zekrom, but it's not working so well for me.
I'm using RNG Reporter 9.75 and doing non-C-Gear methods, trying to hit Frame 3, and the Full Seed is 8D36C869F1C738B7.
MAC address of the DS is 00 16 56 9F BC 1C, and the results I got were 24,25/2,3/8,9/0,1/16,17/6,7 as opposed to the 31/31/30/30/30/31 I was trying to hit. Not sure about the Nature, but I'm guessing it was Jolly. Timer0 is C7F, using an English copy of White.

Is there anything I'm missing to ask for help?

OD Edit: you forgot to mention the date\time

You may be accidentally holding A down longer than needed, getting ur second off by 1, or Timer0 is changing. Include your VCount, VXStat, and VFrame to help me pinpoint the problem. Also, do you have to hold down a button?

Actually its best if you RNG a litwick on floor 3 of the tower. the NPC's there only move if you press the B button. just make sure your frame has the encounter slot of a litwick

If I switch a pokemon in my party with one in the PC (literally dropping the one from my party onto the one in the PC so that they switch places) does that advance the RNG 7 or do I have to drop one into an empty space?

EDIT: Also, if I'm going after Cobalion, for instance, and I have to do 179 frame advances, a number indivisible by 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, will I literally just have to do 128 x 179 with 1 pokemon in my party to get it done, since I won't be near a PC?

Running under the assumption that I'm doing this correctly, VCount is 60, GxStat is 6, and VFrame is 8. And no, I don't have to hold down a button.

Seed: 340263AE82527FF2
Pokemon: Tynamo with HP Ice
Nature: Rash
I'm starting off at PID Frame 53, and at 121 there's a Rash nature with an ESV of 9 which is where Tynamo should be at BF2 of Chargestone Cave, but all I'm finding are Lax Ferroseeds lv 26 of the same IV spread. Advice?

There's also that crazy NPC girl that keeps running around, doesn't that affect the PIDRNG? Or do moving NPCs only affect it if you can see them on your screen?

Yeah I learned she is a big problem so that's known. But I'm taking a break from that now and looking into my next project: SHINY HP GROUND CHANDELURE!!! :D

Yes, you would have to do that. But why are you going for a seed that requires 179 advances in the first place? Unless you're talking about the PID frame, in which case it doesn't work like that at all.

Just pick a different Seed

4/18/2011 at 06:32:44, but I've been hitting it at 43 for the 1 second delay. In case it matters, Trainer ID is 57000.

I cant find anything wrong but go back to time finder, narrow the search down to tht seed. When u see it right click and hit generate adjacent seeds. Look for your IVs there.

should i redo my parameters if i cant seem to hit seeds? ive been trying to hit this hp fire 70 spread and i can never seem to hit it no matter what i try. this is Standard abuse by the way

You should check what you do hit, and if you keep hitting that, then use that Timer0.

I keep getting the same flawless female pokemon egg from the daycare, is there anyway to influence the gender and ability, since the male keep getting ability 0 while the female, ability 1.

I've written a little guide for breeding.

There may be a few errors, and it kind of builds the process from the ground up, but you should be able to figure out what's up. The things you should be most interested in are in the 3rd post, "Route 3 PIDRNG Primer."
