5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Eh, I don't really have a reason for it. Most people have two timer0 values, one of those pops up more than others. Guess it didn't pop up more last time you calibrated? lol

You'd right click your spread and click on "Generate Adjacent Seeds (Current Frame)". It'll show you adjacent timer0 values. You can use this to match up your wrong IVs to see which one you hit.

Can anyone send me a link or a list of the ability 0 and 1 for pkms in B/W please? ^^
I just RNGed bred a pkm (everything was correct) but the ability was the one incorrect due to the fact that I didn't knew its "ability 1" was the one I didn't wanted... >.>

RNG Reporter has a list of Pokemon's abilities built into it, check the Pokedex-IV Checker tab in the top left of the main window.

So now that I know that my two timer0 values are c7b and c7c which one should be set as minimum and which one as maximum?

And I saw my adjacent results; the seed I was hitting WAS FOR C7C and not c7b -.- Anyways thanks for your help.

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but what frame is the Larvesta egg on again? I think it would be 8, being an egg, but I just want to make sure. Thanks!

Set min/max for the Timer0 that you most commonly hit.

TheCalmSnivy - The gift Larvesta is on frame 2.

Just out of curiousity... has anyone found whether or not shiny frames decrease or increase by raising or lowering the year when searching?

The years do no affect the amount shiny frames.
They may yield different results, possibly more or less results than the previous or future. There is no guarantee on what you get though.

I can't find a flawless (31 all) Reshiram between frames 1-7 for years 2010 and 2011 now that my timer is c7c; but I COULD find flawless seeds before when my timer0 was c7b. Is that normal? And should I increase my frame range to find the flawless spread?

Different timer0's yield different results, that's normal. You could try different years, or just adjust your frames. My frame range for stationary legends is usually about 1 - 16.

Did you have all key presses enabled? If so, try frames 1-13. There has to be at least one. I have time C7C and got at least two flawless spreads.

One last question about 5th gen RNG. How many frames does encountering and running away from a wild pokemon advance? Is this the same as 4th gen?

Lol. Before this, I didn't know we could change whether or not to hold keys. I've now enabled 1 key press to get a start. Hoping it would help and thanks for the advice. :)

Hi, this is my first time trying PPRNG and I'm trying to do the Parameter searcher. I put all the values I need however when I search nothing comes up. I'm on mac btw. ANy help greatly apprecaited. I'm using the newest version

When starting the game did you press A then keep pressing A/any other button? Did you use Sweet Scent to catch the Pokemon? Where did you catch the Pokemon that you checked the IV's of?

I didn't press A until after the nintendo screen. I used sweet scent and it was in victory road where no NPCs were around.

I was wondering if anyone had any information or a guide they could link me to about getting shaking spot Pokemon. Im planning on trying it for a Drilbur and I wanted to read up before I just blindly attempted it. I know I have read about it somewhere but I cant find it on here or in the PDF guide by Kaphotics.

I basically just need to know if I have to do anything specific to make the patch appear, and if it starts on a different IV or PID frame than normal wild Pokemon. I know where to find encounter tables so Im all good there.

EDIT @ above: I recommend using Bearsfans video and go through the process step by step with his video- it helps alot. And also you might want to wait till the GF screen appears before you press anything.

Stud420, check post 3 again.

1. Hit seed
2. get it to appear, and remember the path you took
3. step into it and find what frame you are on via encounter slots/nature
4. Hit seed again, take same path, then do your Chatot calls then hit your target.

Drillburs are a little bit tougher to do because of the chance you get items. In the next release of RNG Reporter it'll predict the items you get as well so that you can easily find what you are hitting instead of yes/no pokemon.

Hey guys!
I've got a couple of questions.
1. Is there a way to predict if a breeding BW frame is gonna pass the parent's nature if usinf an everstone?
2. Im using 9.81 and I wanna know... is there a problem with the DW ability prediction? It says false on a frame but my pokemon has the DW ability so im kinda confused.

Thanks in advance.

I just downloaded the most recent version of RNG Reporter and whenever I click on the .exe file it shows up as "it needs to close sorry" blah blah and I can't open it.

Any help?

EDIT: When I go to install the framework that it says to download first it says it's incompatible with my current framework. If that has anything to do with it I thought i'd throw that out there.

1.) Use the everstone nature drop down.
2.) Don't think so, is it possible you're missing your frame? Correct IVs don't mean that you hit the right frame for eggs.

Hard to say without knowing exactly what it's telling you. Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the framework you have?

Regarding Landorus.

I can't seem to find a perfect spread on frame 1 (I already fought the jerk NPC in the shrine). Before I go to 2015 looking for one, I was wondering if NPCs affect the IV frame at all.

Because in the interests of having all 31s AND a reasonable date like (literally) all my other perfect legendaries, I'd be interested in hitting a seed, running back and forth with repels, finding out where in the PIDRNG I wound up, then trying to calibrate and do it exactly the same way again. If that's even feasible to do, of course.

Any ideas?
