Has anyone on here used a pokemon that was hatched either a) a date beyond vgc i.e 2014 or something similar or b) used a pokemon that was hatched before the game it was obtained on came out?

If it were say a shiny, flawless pokemon with a hatch date that's completely illogical, would it still be VGC legit?

Edit: Okay so I just saw GEC's post about the hack check rule, can I just clarify that i'm looking for more past experience here than anything else. PM me if you feel it's easier than discussing it here.

That's not a hack, so there's nothing wrong with discussing it. At San Jose, I used a Terrakion caught in 2013 and Virizion caught in 2014 (both shiny and flawless), and both made it past the hack check without so much as a raised eyebrow.

Just to clarify, cloning is ok to do as well? My friend wants to take a shot at the lcq so I'm gonna just make a copy of my team, and I wouldn't want to be disqualified for that.
 
For future reference, though, you can put in the EVs you want into Pokémon Online or something else that will tell you what your stats should be, and compare it to the stats you actually have (if it's above level 50, just enter it in the Battle Subway and check there).

I used a cloned Tornadus at San Jose, and it didn't give me any trouble, so you'll probably be fine there.
 
All the cool kids use Expert Belt.

If you do go for the gem, to be honest, it'd probably be faster to get one yourself than to find a random person who has one to spare and set up a trade with them.
 
I know this is an early question, but Does any body know where Worlds is going to be next year?(2012) I heard it was going to be in Hawaii. If it is I'll be so happy. :D

I wouldn't believe it.

12-14 in 2012 is a Sunday-Tuesday.
The Summer Olympics are from July 27 - August 12, which would kind of interfere as the olympics travel is more important to some. Speculating here.
Hawaii is much more expensive. Since NoA hosts it, it's in their best interest to keep it the cheapest for themselves (staffers), paying more for people to fly to SD is cheaper (excluding Japan/Aus)
