One more quick question: So If I legally clone my teams with AR and I enter a VGC Tournament, will I be instantly disqualified?
No, not unless you use a faulty cloning code. Cloning is just copying the Pokemon data. You're not modifying it in anyway so there's no way for anyone to tell that something's been cloned.

What's a good pokemon in UU or less for a team with the pokemon, togekiss, slowbro, dugtrio, claydol, and clefable? I'm taking a shot at a gravity team and this is what I have so far. please show me the set.

Alright, so another question concerning the action replay card. When you clone your pokemon in the PC box, how do you make it have better IV's ? Is there a way to redistribute the IV's on the pokemon ?

Basically, I'm asking how do people get flawless IV's onto their pokemon using the action replay ? (Legally that is)

P.S Also, how do you get the egg moves and nature onto your pokemon using the action replay ?? (Cloning that is)

1.) No, that would be hacking. If you mean only "legally", then this site can create Pokémon and send them to your game without any Action Replay at all, you just need to follow the instructions regarding the Primary DNS. If you only want to use AR (which shouldn't be discussed here anyway) then IV codes can be Google-searched.

2.) Breeding and cloning don't have anything to do with each other. You're thinking of the TM44 Move Modifier code, which is hacking and illegal. Also, editing anything about a Pokémon via an AR would make it illegitimate.

Mk, got it. So, how is that in trade threads, people get such good IV pokemon with it saying "AR cloned" ? They use that site and then clone the pokemon or something? Sorry to ask another question about action replay, but I don't really know where else to put this ..

No.. Cloning has no effect on the Pokémon itself. The people who have trade threads RNG for their Pokémon.

@ Winston
Leftovers heals 1/16th of a Pokémon's HP, so I believe a "Leftovers number" is any number divisable by 16 that can be reached with just a few EV's, to gain one more point of Leftovers recovery.

That also exists with Poison Heal recovery. If you give Gliscor 244 HP evs instead of 252, it reaches a Poison Heal number, and gains more from Poison Heal every turn than he would have with 252 HP evs.

Q: I've heard of some significant "leftovers" number for HP. What is this about?

These are HP numbers that cause Leftovers to round up and give the greatest amount of recovery. I don't think there's any sort of database for them, but assorted people know what HP to use on certain Pokemon. Sadly I'm not one of them.
If you're wondering how to get the numbers for a specific Pokemon, that question would probably be answered pretty quickly in this thread.

Edit: Wow, got outposted in every way. Twice! XD

It's mentioned in an article on-site, in the Strategy Dex. Can't remember which generation, though.

I'm having trouble coming up with teammates for those two as well as EV spreads/movesets/etc. Got any ideas?

For Tauros, I'd go with Return/Earthquake/Rock Slide/Protect, with Jolly max speed since Anger Point should give you enough attack. Froslass can use Icy Wind or Thunder Wave to help with anything faster than Tauros. Her other moves can just be random support stuff like Confuse Ray or Destiny Bond or whatever.

As for teammates, you'll want someone who can clean up anything Tauros doesn't manage to take out. I'd say a special attacker with good type coverage like Porygon-Z, and/or something really fast like Jolteon. Basically you want to be prepared to finish the job if Tauros goes down.

^EDIT: I'm a bit slow. :p
Is Anger Point Tauros + Jolly 0 SpA IV Frost Breath Froslass a viable strategy for Battle Subway Doubles?
Meh, I tried Whimsicott/Terrakion (beat up) before and it worked decently mostly because Whimsicott could help Terrakion take out a lot of faster threats. Tauros/Froslass might work in a similar way but Froslass can't really do much to help Tauros out. I guess you could try running focus sash on Froslass and frost breath+icy wind. Of course Tauros should be running protect+3 attacks and one of those attacks should be EQ so you can take out both opponent's Pokemon. Too bad Tauros doesn't get a nice STAB move that can hit both opponents but I guess +6 EQ should probably KO both opponents if it hits neutral.

You should EV your Tauros so that it's 1 point slower than your Frosslass (too lazy to check how many EVs you need). Your last 2 should have good synergy with Tauros/Froslass and should be powerful enough to save the day in case something goes wrong in the beginning.

Also Cryogonal might work in place of Froslass. It has levitate so it can avoid EQ although you'd have to use and Adamant Tauros or use a low speed EV for Tauros to work with Cryogonal (or a scarf Cryogonal, lol).

Try the Battle Subway Thread if you want suggestions from people who actually play the subway often.

I love using Scizor/Latios as my cleanup crew for some hyper-offensive action.

I forgot that Froslass doesn't have Levitate. For some reason one tends to assume that a Ghost-type which floats in the air is immune to Earthquake...

The only problem with this site is that when I just used it now, I got a flawless IV'ed Victini but it has the Japanese name .. How do I get it to have the american name ?

Please stop asking stupid questions...
You can't change a Pokemon's name if it's not yours (without hacking). If you want to hack with your AR go ahead. Just don't get caught.

Does this dragonite have illegal stats?

Im not sure if this is the right place, but if I have to move my question to a different form I will do so.

Question: Dose using Action Replay stop me from getting in to dreamworld? I have tried to get in to DW twice this week and I have not used it in a LONG time but for some reason it keeps telling me that the energy has been used up and i have to wait 24+ hours in order to get in. I never had this issues the first time I used DW when it first came out. Any advise that is useful will be so grateful...

Also off-topic, I read that people could have there teams evaluated on Smogon? How is this done?

Hi Vincent. Well, unlike some people here, I'm going to answer your question politely, and not call it a "Dumb" question :D Action Replay does not affect the dream world, so I'm not sure what's messing it up. Did you wait the full 24 hours till trying again? Is something wrong with your Wi-Fi Connection? These could all be possible problems to your question.

And to the team evaluations, there is a Rate My Team on this forum, but I would suggest you post your team up AFTER you have built it, if you want some advice / information, please feel free to Visitor Message or Private message me and I'd be happy to help
