And lol my Timer0 is trolling me today. I try for C7C -> My timer0 becomes C7B. I try for C7B -> it becomes C7C. FFFFFFFFFF-
Has anyone had any issues RNG breeding for fixed-gender pokemon (like Tauros)? After calibrating for the initial PID frame, I keep ending up 1 or 2 off of my target frame. The only times I've had this issue before were when I didn't select "Ditto Parent" or the parents were international, neither of which is true this time (though I checked both to make sure that I'm not hitting the PID frames corresponding to THOSE results).

The actual seconds value should be the same as the time that you reset the emulator so use that to figure it out.
Also you really need to reread the PM I sent you. You completely ignored the search ranges I gave you, which is why you have so many results, and you're wasting your time by catching something. Just input the MTRNG value and check "first half only." You don't need IVs if you have the MTRNG value.
I have inputted (?) exactly what you said (bar Timer0, i searched for 000-FFF). Seconds founded are 15, 18, 22, 25, but i softresetted (?) at 45 ._.
That's pissing me off! I always find 2-4 results, and noone has same seconds -.-'
Try with the ranges I VM to you.
1. Can somebody explain to me why on Breeding BW there are so many Pokemon with the same PID only 2 frames away from each other. It just means it's easy to get lots of Shinies (unless NPC will ruin your life before you get the chance).
2. On the 5th Gen Shiny Egg finder why does it have to only search for Shinies? I know you can just chance the IDs but that still takes a lot of searching. I'd rather just have all my options infront of me. Is there any way of doing this?

1. Because there are many shiny frames due to international breeding.
2. Use the capture tab with Gift as type and Frame 8 as starting and ending frame.
This isn't with international. The actual PIDs are the same meaning anybody witht the right ID/SID combo can claim both as Shiny.

I remember the same thing happening to me. In fact, each PID was there at least twice.
Interesting thing: Two PIDs were shiny to me with a small range. And these were repeated around 10 times. Though the IVs of one were off.
The only problem with that is it doesn't tell you whom the IVs are inherited from. Is there a way of working it out?
Use that seed in BW Breeding in the main window.

Hi I am just starting PIDRNG today, can someone please explain quickly to me what the calculate initial PIDRNG frame means. I am trying to catch a shiny in the wild just to get used to using the programme. So I set the starting frame in timefinder to the initial frame stated? Also I have a roamer about but I am in a cave, will that affect it? Why does the initial frame keep changing when I click it? :/ Thank you for your time!!
With the PIDRNG it starts at an unknown frame usually in the 40s to 60s. This is why in the Time Finder it suggests a starting frame of 70. It's best to leave it as that.
The actual starting frame depends on your Seed and it's your seed that the Time Finder works out for you.
The creators of the RNG Reporter found a way to work out the starting frame. Apparently it works 90% of the time.
The reason it's different with roamers is because the game advances the frame in order to work out which route the roamer starts on. That's why it's different with the roamer.
Whether you're in a cave or not it makes no difference.
Basically assume that the calculated frame is your starting frame.
Then advance the frame to the one before your Shiny, then Sweet Scent.
If it's Shiny great! If not then look at the frames in the main window around your target frame. Imagine that frame you ended on was 2 frames ahead, next time advance the frame 2 less times.
Remember that your Timer0 could be wrong so if you can't find a frame similar to the one you got or something doesn't seem right then just try it again.

So if I use the gift method but treat it as breeding in the main window... do I just look for a desireable frame with the right inheritance? Do I assume that all of the blank spaces are 31?
It worked once and I caught 2 shiny woobats in trial chamber victory road. However I've been trying it at celestial tower and I dont even hit my seed? Im going for a shiny HP ground 70 timid litwick. I have everything in timefinder fine, 31/31/31/30/30/31 and timid, ability 0 and mix/max frames 70-80. It predicts my starting frame is 45 so I wanted to be very safe by going for a high seed using chatots. However even though my date/timing is perfect, there are no npcs on top of celestial tower and I have put in my IVs correctly I amnt getting them. The guides are all specific to older versions. The videos dont go into enough detail for a newbie to learn it and the pdf guide is for 6.0 for crying out loud. Can somebody please help.
Ah ballsack. That was what I was afraid of. But shouldn't it fluctuate? Ive been using C7C for loads of RNGs. That is my timer0. Ive had it go to another one before but only temporarily. Ive been trying this about 20 times and I don't think I hit it once.. Any way to test if it is timer0?
Am I missing something? Because I am following the guide and nothing is being generated when I hit search.
When I was calibrating mine I was told not to have 0 seconds as the time when you hit A because I was told it causes problems. Not sure what they are but I recommend just using another time.
