League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

In regards to runes, from my experiences a page full of Attack Speed Runes feel much effective than any form of ArP or AD for most Auto-Attack champs. As I see it ArP and AD is for poking... AttackSpeed is for kills.

Late game isn't about Rune Pages its about who gets their core items faster.

Attack speed is generally worse than a mix of AD and ArP reds/quints on most laning champions. However, AS runes are very helpful in the jungle as on a large portion of physical jungle champions, AS runes optimize jungle time. Often you'll see people reach 14% AS and 12 ArP for that optimization. Only on characters like Trundle, Xin Zhao, or Lee Sin can AD runes be stronger and faster in the jungle.

Well it depends on your base AD in a lot of cases. If you don't have much at all, AS is pretty useless, and if you can only get in range for like a second, As is doing all of nothing for you. It's just too limited for me, whereas ArP is good on every AD champ early game no matter what the situation.

just bought galio, went 10/0/4 and they surrendered at 20 my first time out :D
having trouble locking down a build, any tips?
rush catalyst, farm all game, max R>E>W>Q or R>E> Q and W evenly

flash+TP, build early cata, go tanky items (glacial shroud), build lots of MR (FoN, banshee's, even quicksilver are all good). build AP if you're doing really really well (abyssal, rod of ages)

that's how hotshot does it at least

you're gonna be laning forever, what's the point of maxing w or e first. notice how galio stopped being considered weak around the time people stopped playing him as a support.

So is there, like, a list somewhere that shows whether to go Armpen or AD on certain characters?

edit: after looking around on Solomid, it seems most people go Armpen reds and AD quints, so I think I'll stick with that

not a fan of hp/lvl seals... i'd rather have armor to trade hits with other ranged ads better (but i usually use mana regen/lvl seals and magic resist/lvl glyphs instead).

I didn't consider that, I do have 9 flat armour seals lying around so I will try those and mana regen blues.

Dear Pookar,

I will no longer make fun of you for playing Nasus, as long as you only play him on Dominion.

Last match was a 4v5 that I carried like a boss (our master yi d/c'd at start). Check out my ingenious spur of the moment build. They had a Tryndamere, Warwick and Lee Sin who were all trying to out life steal me so I got a thornmail and a phantom dancer and ate them up while they stood in one spot thanks to Wither and Exhaust. Then there was this dickhead AP shaco build box forts on points and everyone else was too squishy to do anything, and apparently didn't understand how to push a minion wave onto the point, so I got a FoN too.

But yeah, Nasus is great.

Nasus is the man in dom due to his passive. Usally try to farm his Q ( when I get the chance.) But just for he fact that he can constantly push a minion wave makes him great.

My current build on him.
Phantom dance
Boots of swiftness/merc treads (depends on te amount of CC)
Blightwater cutlass (I use the slow on a target that I dont wtiher in team fights helps soo much.)
Prospector Blade
Sunfire cloak

-optional offensive
Gunblade (spell vamp)
Rageblade (depends on team comp, before u laugh I usally always get it up to 8)

-opt defensive
FoN
Atmas

not even i have tried nasus on dominion because theres no q farm time and thats literally his strongest part of the game. but i suppose hes a fantastic 1v1er with wither and q and his e/r and can mass interupt captures with his e. and the passive gold boost doesnt hurt. you could start off with a sheen basically.. starting off with a 300-400 burst move at level 3? sign me up

"New hero looks really OP by the way. Like I looked at the champion spotlight and it was the first hero that I have seen and said to myself: This hero is going to rape. I can guarentee it will have a role, whether it is AD carry or bruiser. Just the kit that it has is just strong. Strong passive, escape or gap closer, a unique utility, and strong damage.

In Chaox's words, hes MF 2.0. I couldn't have said it better. Think about MF with an escape.
Buy this hero and learn this hero. I can guarentee it will be VERY strong."
