League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

Not great? Aw, that's disappointing; his attack damage is so high, and his kit seems like it'd be well suited for dealing damage. I mean, a heal, a huge armor buff + armor reduction, a stun, and a steroid. Not to mention his actual passive.....though, those are all the things that make him an excellent support, lol. Have you used him solo lane before.

Whoa, Skarner is free again so soon? I had a ton of fun with him last time he was out (I might have trolled with him and maxed Fracture first and used Surge, haha).

I've always had fun with Ez, but it's dawning on me that's he's neither strong early or late game. The goal of the ranged carry is to do as much damage as possible while not getting killed, Ez can position for that better than anyone. But he just doesn't have the oomph he needs, it takes him too long to charge his passive.

From what I understand you are supposed to use your ult to charge your passive and just blast it through as many people as possible (or a minion wave or neutral camp, depending on your team's and your opponent's positioning). This gets you to 5 charges in <2 seconds, giving him the oomph he needs.

I get 1 point in Ez's W early to proc attack speed charges and for the utility of slowing your enemies attck speed/buffing your teams. Its range isnt that great though which is the only problem. Also Ive been using the BT/PD combo lately and I find it much more rewarding. Keeping up BT stacks is a breeze and the sustain is much needed for when I come out of those team fights with barely 100 HP and beginning farming again without having to return to the base.

PD isn't as strong cuz he's an AD caster, triforce would be stronger. You don't see PD on stuff like Riven or Talon do you?

not very good. build early brut if you want to but don't finish it. LW stronger on EZ anyway. triforce+BT combined with your passive and your Q AA reset is typically enough oomph in teamfights.

i wouldn't say ghostblade is awful on most champs though. nocturne uses it really well, among other tanky deeps. garen comes to mind, as does wukong, but only if they opt for early brutalizer instead of straight rushing atmog's or mallet.

also doublelift on stream today: riven is the new akali. high skill cap, extremely powerful, snowballs very hard.

Didnt mean on Ez I meant on Twitch and Ashe. Riven is such a beast in my opinion. I have yet to play her though but just what I've seen from people in games she always is in control of top and can carry hard into late game.

Riven and Talon don't rely on their AA to kill, Ez does. Q is a great poke before the team fight starts but you need to use AAs to single out and kill anyone. That's what his passive is for, but it's only a 50% increase.

I have 6300 IP and don't know what to buy. All the pretty 6300's are tempting. But the prospect of getting 4 1350's is interesting. And then there is the possibility of 2 3150's. Or 1 3150 and 2 1350's..

Kinda want Trundle but 4800 is stupid. :\

I currently have Alistar, Amumu, Annie, Ashe, Caitlyn, Fizz, Gangplank, Janna, Kayle, Master Yi, Nunu, Poppy, Ryze, Singed, Sivir, Sona, Soraka, Taric, Tristiana, Warwick. My favorites are probably Singed, Gangplank, Soraka, Warwick.

If you just turned 30, don't. I've been 30 for a month or two and have yet to start. I've just been playing normal draft. Actually been sucking quite a bit recently. I was about 10-15 wins over .500 and now I'm 1-2 under .500.

You need to learn how to carry when your teammates suck.

help i'm level 30 and scared to get into ranked games

I wouldn't. Wait until you have at least 2 decent rune pages. Then focus on owning and actually playing decent with champions of all roles.
Don't be the guy who is last pick and can't play what his team needs.

On other note. Anyone want to Duo Que ~1300.

add me: BlessTheMusic

i only have one rune page which is like pure AP

i am PRETTY GOOD with cassiopeia, trundle, and orianna, and i'm getting karthus, leblanc, udyr soon

so should i wait until i'm better as a player or until i have enough characters and runes?

Unreality play whatever you like in ranked, people are so retarded that you shouldn't even pay attention to team comp, just carry hard

Do note that Karthus is STUPIDLY easy to carry a team with in low-mid elo solo queue games, and even in high ELO play although you'll need to be either really really good at playing like Reginald or really really good at farming like Scarra.

Do note the usage of the word "or". I don't think you can be as aggressive as Reginald is while farming as well as Scarra does. It's not possible.

Y NO RANKED AP SORAKA. I SAW ONE TODAY AND IT CARRIED/SUPPORTED THE CRAP OUT OF THE OTHER TEAM. But seriously, Starcall allows her to farm well mid, she doesn't need to build MrP, and her biggest nuke is a 1.5 silence, AND her CDs are really low. Her heals are massive too. Plus she gets a ton of AP with Archangels.

I like Cho'Gath. Feast has to be one of the best ultimates in the game. The only problem is both teams have to have a jungler for me to have a good game as Cho. I need that solo top farm.

EDIT: Also, does anyone else find that his Q is mostly only good for killing bads. It's so easy to avoid. I guess it provides a kind-of pseudo-CC by preventing enemies from standing on that spot of land. I land it in teamfights in the jungle but other than that I mostly only use it to deny during laning. I don't know. maybe I just need practice.

You can jungle Cho. His ganks are just really hard to pull off. He's actually pretty good in the jungle, but his laning phase is so good you don't see it that often.

P.S I said Cho was good in the jungle twice.

EDIT: What about her heals? Let's just go by this, Support Soraka gets a heal every... Let's say S6 seconds. She heals for 300. Well AP Soraka gets a heal every 10 seconds. She heals for 600 with a decent amount of AP. So in 20 seconds AP Soraka heals for 1200, while support heals for 900. Why the don't all supports build AP?

Wikey, Cho's Q is not meant to be used where your enemy is, but rather where they will be when you use it. It requires good prediction to be useful against remotely decent foes, but the same is true of most delayed "skillshots".
