so i played my first summoners rift game in months...

i went in intending to go carry soraka, 'cus shes awesome. so we start badly, udyr and nasus suck balls and ended up bitching the entire match. garen rage quit 10 min in. they ended up being late game carrys, late game being 45 min in prior to that they would go try to hug enemies by themselves. at 40 min they decided to duo baron, after engaging and eating a mushroom they still thought it was a good idea to continue, not even shaco popping up could detour them. enemy gets baron and steamrolled us to 1 turret defending our nexus. they smartened up but still ended up focusing amumu in team fights.

i had a lot of fun, being able to nuke shaco/teemo/sivir whenever they got close to me. victor was a life saver for our team, being not that bad and having the only clue as how to win (walk with me to attack inhibitor).

This sounds very nice on Mundo / Tryndamere
 
We outlined a good few champs Maw might work with on IRC earlier, it also sounds great on Poppy/ult bot Fiora IMO. Nets a good balance of stats on a tanky deeps if you pair it with say fratma's or if you're fiora something like maw + bt + bc + tiamat.

Extreme tiamat stacking is dumb and the splash only slightly exceeds melee range. Takes less than half a second at 370 MS to spread out far enough.
 
Ugh, I'm about seven games over .500 in normal so I've been getting shitty matches. Nubs on my team and people better than me on the other.
 
So I'm new to smogon and competitive pokemon so was looking around the community on where to fit in found the LoL section and was like yay. So.... ya if any1 wants help with learning the game I think I'm not a bad player and I understand how its hard to get the hang off. Otherwise add me wimazar and ill be more than happy to play a few games
 
Bought Lulu. Haven't had a chance to play a real game with her yet. Just did a custom game and built her as an AP carry. Was fun until my team's bots started sucking almost as bad as actual players. Swainbot OP, btw. The other bots just sit there and let him give them a golden shower.

1-2 with Lulu in normals. (1-0 in Dom)

First game I started 1/0/1 in top with Naut and we were doing a good job. Then the Eve we were laning against goes mia (we call and ping) and gets four kills. And then the other members of my team feed horribly. I end 1/5/1 because I just couldn't do shit to help such an awful team.

Second game I suppordle the shit out of my team. I go 3/0/10 but then die just as they surrender. Repeatedly get assists by locking down champs with Polymorph and the nasty slow on her Q.

Third game I start 1/0/3 but our team had no tanks (we had Blitz who built BoMobility, Vamp Scepter, and Tear by the time we surrendered) and they had Mundo and Sejuani so they crushed once it got to team fights. I finished 2/4/6.
 
0-0 as Lulu due to my avoidance of blind pick.

Second-pick Soraka. Lulu was open but I didn't want to mid with her, I want to support. >:| My fellow 4th/5th pick took Yorick, let's have a gay old time with Zilean! He wins top handily because that's kinda what Yorick does. Terrible CS due to my not getting a single blue buff the entire game and enemy Vlad being ultra-aggro; make up for it by farming terrible Vlad instead. Team comp falls apart because Graves sucks complete donkey dick and we get reamed by fucking AD TF being 8/0 by 15 minutes in. -_- Lose my giant winning spree. :(

Queue into four-man BR group who do AD Lulu bot with support Nunu. Stuck jungling, dunked like a boss. :happybrain: GP managed to get dumped on by lane Nocturne somehow but was at least smart enough to not feed too hard. Did my part counterjungling Trundle to the point he was three levels under me the entire game but mostly I got carried by Lulu coming out of laning 5/0. ;[

Second-pick Soraka again, jesus christ since when do people actually want to support and why are people still playing Soraka again? Guess I keep getting stuck with duo queuers who want to lane bot together but that doesn't explain my other question. Feel like playing Singed for the first time in months. Team dies a combined 12 times before getting a single kill, myself 0/3 against douchebag Kennen top, latter two me being a derp more than anything on his part. Amusingly still killed him when I returned, solo, and was beating him by 20-30 CS the entire time anyway. Vayne carries the rest of the way because she dumped on Galio mid (fail counterpick to Lux who went bot with her duo queue) and I made her as untouchable in teamfights as I was unkillable being Singed. Yeah, won after starting out 0-12. \m/

Didn't get to play Lulu but I made a fun time out of it I guess.

Still not sure where to change up from the standard support build. I usually skip HoG just because I end up staying in lane forever.
 
Had to go to ranked to finally get to play Lulu support. Corki feeds and I get to spend another two wasted days playing this shit game so I can get back to Gold. :evan:
