E3 2013 | RETR-oh no....

I hope this picture clears up some points about the Xbox One a little bit more.

Mario Kart 8 looks good, but I still don't like the way they treat gravity. It appears to work as if gravity always pulls you down against the surface you're driving on, regardless of its orientation. That means that steep downhills are only treated as small declines (the best illustration of this would be MKWii's Rainbow Road, where what should have been a vertical plunge right after the finish line becomes a normal raceway turned 90 degrees). The game seems to have some concept of uphill and downhill, but the angle of it doesn't seem to matter much.
Universal gravity, a proper weak one, would enable a lot more interesting jumps (high speed = epic jump, even on non-ramps), and uphills or downhills would affect the speed of your car to a greater degree. It would also look more realistic when you're ejected from the track (for instance when hit by a shell); you'd be tumbling down the hill instead of going up and down again as if you were tied to the race track by a piece of rubber. A proper set of physics wouldn't hurt the game. Inertia and universal gravity would make for some rather nifty crashes, at least.

That picture, obviously not Faint's, still lines up with what was said. The Family Sharing Plan sounds like straight shit. The only thing it really clears up is that you don't have to deal with Kinect bullshit if you don't want to.

So microsoft basically came out and said they were disappointed with how Xbox one turned out with the public's reaction and that they're working to fix their mistake.

Still doesn't make the console any better

>implying you were being ironic
>implying I did not see the irony if you were being ironic
>implying that I was implying

People blast me for ironically greentexting all the time...

you probably got this off memebase

which is worse because that means i fell for it twice

he's a fool for not seeing ps4 as a threat considering that not only has sony always been a threat, they also didn't fuck up their release or their e3 presentation. one man's opinion does not equate to fact, yo. especially if that opinion is biased towards himself; why would he send out an interview which states that he is uncertain or afraid? other people certainly wouldn't sympathize with him.

but considering that the ps3 and the 360 were pretty much the same thing, and people loved them both, who says that it's a bad thing if it's an upgraded 360? 360's awesome, i love mine.

there is a point where confidence ends and stupidity begins, however.

It also looks at the PS4 as “Xbox 360 version 2″ due to the lack of social and multi-tasking features. The company doesn’t even see Sony as a threat. Even better, it believes that the PS4′s graphics RAM will run hotter, besides not being as optimized as the Xbox One. Thus leading to both being evenly matched or, believe it or not, the Xbox One performing ahead.

If there was ever evidence that Microsoft is missing the point, it's this. I want my next generation console to be Xbox 360 version 2. I don't want it to be a motion sensing social networking cable box.

Fuck if they named it PS2^2 I would preorder one now.

Also that article was completely anti-xbone... why is the xbone supporter posting it?
