(Little) Things that annoy you in Pokémon

Though they should honestly have the IV Checker in the Daycare, if they don't want them there during main gameplay add them in later post game. Actually I honestly think they should just replace them with a function on the PC so you can do it pretty much anywhere.

I was actually fine with it being right there in the Battle Resort Pokemon Center. At least it's close to the Day Care and has nearly all the utility I need right there with a PC. Plus, it's right there when I need to IV check Event Pokemon too!

How about making your IV's and EV's visible? Sorta like this

I don't know about you, but this is a huge quality of life change that will take DAYS outta your play time.

For advanced players, aye. For newcomers and kids it kinda overcomplicates things and takes the simplicity and accessibility away.
It's good for a fan-game like that, but really not for the games themselves.

Newcomers and kids would simply ignore it. I remember when I first got into the Pokémon games themselves, I ignored a lot of things, such as BP and damage categories for instance (the latter was saved by Infernape). And I was 16 with years of competitive Yu-Gi-Oh under my belt at that point. You think I would understand that quickly.

Ok, whereas it's disputable whether or not the core series games are getting easier, some of the spin offs obviously are. And that bugs me. Very much. One of my all time video games ever is Pokemon mystery dungeon red rescue team. I love it so much that I still play it from time to time even though it's been 10 years since its release. Recently I purchased super mystery dungeon, and it was terrible, disgusting, boring, and many other negative adjectives. Everything that made pmd red rescue team great was absent. The difficult dungeons, the killer level up curve, the recruit system, the basic attack, and the list goes on. Pokemon super mystery dungeon is a joke, I could rant for hours about it right now, but I'll hold myself back here.

I feel the same way. It was PMD Blue, but it was so good! EoS was AMAZING. Then GtI comes and ruins the fun, and PSMD comes and vomits all over it.

This isn't restricted to gen 6, but generally legendary Pokemon with pressure. Firstly, it is such a lazy ability to slap on a Pokemon, and secondly, it's so annoying that you have to wait for the "___ is exerting its pressure" every time you send it into battle. The same could be said about a lot of other abilities, like intimidate and frisk etc., but I can't think of anything as utterly useless as pressure.

I would rather Pressure than Slow Start.

EDIT: I wasted my 1,600th post on this statement. Hooray...

It annoys me out of my mind how we can't skip cutscenes; it makes soft resetting for stuff like Xerneas & Groudon a pain in the arse to do.
You can kill Xerneas/Yveltal and they'll still be there to fight without having to see the cutscene again. It's more annoying that you have to fight them before moving on with the story.

Oh... I... had no idea. Welp, now I feel stupid for replaying the cutscene over and over again.
My point still stands for Kyogre/Groudon, though :pirate:

No, it doesn't. You can KO Kyogre/Groudon too, and fight them again after beating the Elite Four. Not sure how much of a cutscene there is for that fight, but it should be a lot less than for the initial encounter.
